I'll list numerically some things I can confirm are unstable in the country at the moment.

1. Electric power
2. Telecommunications signals
3. Exchange rate
4. Fuel supply
5. Prices of goods and services

Say yours and pass the mic.

No thank you
Phones / Changing Twitter To X Is More Political Than Business by Goldmynemaniac: 6:17pm On Oct 17, 2023
I permit myself to be generous in my thinking here.

First. Elon Musk bought twitter at an overvalued price.Trump applauded this takeover. Immediately after the purchase he started off undoing everything done by the former owners, significantly, offering to unban Donald Trump. All along Mr. Musk can be said to have been using the platform as his expensive play-thing.

Second. Changing twitter to X. I see this as vendetta paid. I think there was an agreement to make sure Twitter would cease to exist as payment for their daring... And this was achieved at all costs.

Just me wearing my conspiracy theorist's cap today cool cool cool

Politics / Re: I Don't Like It That Third Parties Have Access To My Bio Data by Goldmynemaniac: 11:35pm On Mar 30, 2023
BVN should be able to help with the case of foreigners registering.

I feel really unsafe that such persons as I mentioned should have access to all of my data like that.
Politics / I Don't Like It That Third Parties Have Access To My Bio Data by Goldmynemaniac: 9:48pm On Mar 30, 2023
I think the government should make it possible for every Nigerian to be able to register and validate NIN over the internet with their personal systems or phones.

I don't feel very safe having third parties have access to my bio data linked to my accounts. Once someone has access to your bvn, nin and a plethora of all your other details, what's to stop them not to attempt to hack your account? More like making them co-signatories to your account.

What's more unsettling is even that the fellow at the local government council, handling nin enrollment, asked for the bank I use in the course of conversation.

Imagine. Two different persons privy to all my data. One is doing enrollment, the other is doing registration and validation.

Something that one could easily do with phone camera and phone fingerprint scanner. Then government would have the data doubly encrypted.

Compromised data at point of registration could be behind illegal funds transfers from people's bank accounts.

This stuff is worrying me no sh!t.

Here is thread about about NiN registration yesterday:

Don't do your NIN at local government areas,go to any MTN office,or glo office. It is free.

I did mine free, that was even early 2021 that many dummies were paying heavily for it,not to talk of now that everything is going normal
I'm feeling seriously ripped off. My stomach is churning as I type.

Was at MTN's office yesterday and couldn't get it done.

Politics / Is One Supposed To Pay For NIN Registration at Local Government Council? by Goldmynemaniac: 2:29pm On Mar 29, 2023
So, went to get my NIN done at Local Government today. Omo come see billings anyhow.

Lemme break it down:
1. 100 Naira for form
2. 3000 Naira for registration
3. 3000 Naira for validation

This really got me to wondering if this is right, legal and sanctioned by government or those guys at council are just cashing out on the people.

Why should I as a Nigerian have to buy my piece if identification? This is like asking one to bring money for voter's card. Ayam not getting.

I'll give an example, when Facebook was starting out, all the services were free if charge and even up to date most of the services on it at still free, how then do they come up with their huge evaluation, there lies in your answer
Facebook sells ads, Opay doesn't. Google is free because it sells ad(infact you're what google sells). What does Opay sell?

What about security of savings?
Business / How Does Opay Make Money Doing Free Transfers? by Goldmynemaniac: 11:45pm On Mar 18, 2023
Many people using Opay service are still scared of leaving substantial amounts in their accounts. One major reason is that they can't pinpoint the means via which the service makes profit.

Second reason is that they worry that Opay doesn't have physical branches around like traditional banks. Users worry they won't know where to go to should they have issues.

I know Opay is approved by CBN and insured by NDIC but are these enough to guarantee security of money saved with them?

Please how does Opay make profit?

Go out to vote for the party and candidate of your choice.

Make sure to monitor your vote and ensure that the POs count and upload in your presence.Snap result sheets with your devices.

If the POs act funny, make sure they don't leave the PUs intact.

Don't allow any person or persons harm or disenfranchise you. If they do anyhow, jointly give them anyhow.

February is different from March. We move!

Yes.

It now depends on them how they want it. This won't be same as Endsar when APC used the military to murder unarmed civilians.

Whether Oluomo or whoever they use now won't find it possible to oppress/harass Nigerians today.

In the interest of all, we advice every to be peaceful and law-abiding as they vote today.

Otherwise, any threat, attack or provocation, in the face of election, would be met with double.

Those who have threatened us are weak and fearful and as such can be said to be playing mind games with us because they know they're no match for us.

However, if they carry out their threat, don't let anyone disenfranchise nor harm you.
If you are attacked, don't just attack back, go for a kill.

Peace is only possible if all parties are peaceful.

Trying to manipulate elections today in the name of Oro is suicide. Whoever dares it will die. I won't be caught alone late at night and I won't be caught letting some drunkards intimidate me with stick and rope making whirring sounds.

We die here. Blood, sweat and tears. The choice is yours.
