I mean the one that will be fought with weapons. It will be a serious tribal war
Is there no other way?

Use of force is not for smart people. Wisdom is getting something requiring bloodshed without it.

It is an established fact. You can not be jealous of someone you are better than.

Commerce is predominantly an Igbo enterprise sector and now Igbos are becoming political aware and are determined to take control of political leadership of communities they built and have representation in the State political class.

Certain tribes in Nigeria were very comfortable with the Igbos remaining in commerce, but making way into state and federal politics is a threat to the tribes that feel insecure around the Igbos.

Igbos need to assure them, they are safe.
They're afraid of Igbo domination whereas it's fine all these years they've been dominating the Igbos, eh?

What kind of assurance should they be given? Should they Igbos pat them on the shoulder and tell them they're cool with being marginalized by them? Is this the assurance you speak of?

Seun is a renowned tribalist and he doesn't hide it anymore.
If seun and his Nairaland is toxic, we'll all leave it for them.

It is not only Lagos and Yorubaland we'll leave, we'll also leave everything belonging to Yorubas including Nairaland, Glo, etc.

The next civil war may start here
A war has been on all these while. Just that it is not fought with physical weapons, hence, we fail to notice it.

Tribalism is primitive human instinct designed for tribe preservation for a collective that find strength in numbers. The next time you face tribal hatred against your tribe, understand that the offender is acting out fear. Anger and jealousy comes from fear of a superior opponent.

If the Yorubas are collectively angry and jealous of the Igbos, then Igbos should then be a superior tribe. Igbos should endeavor to assure the Yorubas that though they are superior, they will not destroy the Yorubas. Then Yorubas will become comfortable.
Seun, this guy said you're afraid and jealous of the igbos. Is this true?

You've not addressed the provocative ad I spoke of.

Anyway, thanks for the education.

Seun and his mods put up an ad that read:

'Lagos will not be run from Anambra.'

Picture below.

Later, Seun went on twitter to ask if anything was wrong with the ad. What a hypocrite!

Now I just opened a thread asking the Igbos to defend themselves if attacked and Seun and his people removed it.

I did nothing wrong as I believe that self-defense is lawful in the face of attack.(which Seun is inciting via this platform)

They should ban all threads where Igbos are threatened including ones about MC Oluomo.

Failure to do so means that Nairaland and Seun endorse threats and attacks on the Igbos. And also intentionally provokes them.

Every Igbo on this forum will have to respond accordingly.

Voting apathy has been their problem coupled with disunity.

Now they're awake politically. All thanks to Obidient movement.

Igbo's just woke up to their political value! They should restrategise for subsequent elections. One way to do this is moving their PVC to their place of residence and not their states of origin. With this, they will even become more powerful.
This is a must do.

The past 3 Presidential Elections, All THE LOSERS WON THE SOUTH EAST, AND NONE OF THE LOSERS WON THE SOUTH WEST AND THE NORTH.
So in summary, the SOUTH EAST is the most irrelevant zone.
And yes the South East = Ibos
Who won the just concluded election?

Outcome of Abuja and Lagos hold the truth of the national result.

Political noise that won Lagos. What a powerful noise! Political noise that has got incumbent governors jittery. Political noise that has dismantled structure of political strangle-hold.

Politics / Igbos Have Highest Political Influence In Nigeria by Goldmynemaniac: 8:22am On Mar 14, 2023
Reality is just dawning.

All politicians are warming up to the Igbos in various states inorder to save their political careers.

The Igbos have become a political force of great consequence by their shear number in every state and can easily sway the outcome of elections there should they care to.

I think this is beyond Obedient movement, though a bye-product of it.

Igbos need to actively participate in politics wherever they settle to safeguard their investments which are always substantial.

To the topic, no other tribe in Nigeria can influence the outcome of election in another state outside their region.

I remember when being considered for the position of head boy in my secondary school how I was reminded that I was Igbo and that my people would never allow a Yoruba to occupy that position in Igboland.

For a young boy of my age, it hurt too much. I think that was when I began to see that I was never really one of them, that there was such a thing called tribe, and it mattered big. Despite that I spoke their language, it still didn't make them see me like one of them.

Worst. There was a pretty Yoruba thing I was in love with, and she too loved me(really not me but my brilliance). This, too, they said they won't mind letting me have for being such a 'brilliant' easterner!

Till today when someone asks me why I never got a single scholarship back then for such unprecedented records I set, I still don't know what to say. It was surely not that I wasn't good enough, I was the best that ever passed through that school of any tribe, as they said themselves.

Surely there are good people of all tribes but the mood right now is such that it seems couples of different tribes might pull knives on themselves any moment from now. Moods are tense everywhere.

This is exactly what the politicians want...to divide along tribal lines and use for personal gain. And, it seems to be working.

Don't be deceived. You are not the same with them(same tribe or not). They only want to identify with you on the common grounds of tribe, but this they do to ride on you to their next victory(over you, sadly).

In truth, there are only two tribes in Nigeria: 'Us' and 'Them'.

Tribalism is a tool made by 'them' and used by 'them' when the need arises. Don't be fooled again. Side with the people. Tribe regardless.

Now that the elections are here, most of us are both shocked and irritated at the same time by amounts of
empathy and concern shown by politicians.

We wish that their show was genuine, but, we can only wish, knowing fully well it's just a show to beguile.

Some of us even dare to get acclimated to this insincere display of goodwill that only comes on every blue moon that appears every 4 years. These are opportunists that think to make the most of the situation while they can. Others are simply casts in the political grand circus who benefit off it.

Reality is that this act of sudden concern by elected public office holders at election periods should not be for election seasons alone, it should be the norm everyday for 4 years. You notice how they warm up to us at these times? Well, it's because they recognize where the power lies-with the people. We are the ones that have refused to recognize our own power, or we recognize but fail to put our powers forth.

Solution is simple. Recognize that you are the power that be. Wield your power consciously, intelligently and deliberately.

Finally, hire the leader you can fire. This way they remain accountable to you and not to themselves.

Conclusively, everyday can be in election mood. Just have lawmakers that are answerable to their constituents. This way, the constituents can recall them, if they are not performing, or simply use them to impeach the president or governors at federal and state levels respectively, if they're erring. By so doing, politicians are kept on their toes all the time.

I made a thread about the power of the people and how to effectively wield it titled A New Kind Of Godfatherism.

This man is Human with capital H. Forget all these humanoids forming redpiller and feminists.

This generation has lost touch with life. They're so numb that they seek all manner of material pleasures just to experience the normal. Though always temporary.

They day you understand how this man could endure for 40 years is the day you start being human.

Here's a clue though: Real things endure.

Do the maths.

Obi was in Pdp before he switch to the so called Labour. A party that' is not so strong, he won some states quite fine but still came 3rd. The party is not the person.
It'll help you to recall that during Buhari's first term to power, he was running against the principles of his party, hence APC cabals brought his government to a stalemate until he succumbed to them. That was when he was able to pass budget and have some concessions as long as he played ball with them.

Don't get it twisted.

Asey. No matter the sweet words obi dish out if he reaches there and he is stingy and doesn't want to release money out and doesn't implement budget you all will lament and abuse him. Know this.
We will not just lament. Now the people are in themselves the very structure power is made of. What we'll do is pull the structure from under him.

This is the age of the people.
