@Op. When it comes to your money and investment, a little arrogance is in place, never mind people. When it comes to business advice, You‎​​ ask mentors, people who have been in that particular biz before,you don't ask advicers because most of them are poor. most likely the hard disk itself is still alright. just the adapter is bad. if you can just get the right adapter for the hard disk. sata for a sata interface or ide for an ide interface (it usually goes for about 1000) just connect and it most likely will work. or

use data recovery tools like easeus data recovery manager. you can get this from
4shared.com
