Jokes EtcRe: Mama Nkechi Has 3 Children by goodguy(m): 10:15pm On Jan 02, 2006
Lemme reframe that.

A man has got a yam, a goat and a lion. He has to cross the river but can only cross with one of them at a time. If he goes with the yam first, the Lion will eat up the goat since he won't be there to monitor them. If he decides to go with the Lion first, the goat will eat up the yam. And if he decides to go with the goat first, the Lion will eat the yam.

How do u think he should go about it? cool

Christianity EtcRe: I Do Not Believe in God by goodguy(m): 7:53pm On Jan 02, 2006
I tell you, there are some folks(not just traditional juju priests but children of God) who have power to even tie you down to the ground so that you can't get up.

Nferyn, I guess I've told you this^^^ before. cool

I'll be glad if you come to Nigeria and see things for yourself. But then, I hope you won't start using science to explain the miracles by pastor Chris. undecided
RomanceRe: Girls Asking Guys Out by goodguy(m): 2:35pm On Jan 02, 2006
This is not about Abroad or Nigeria. We're all human beings afterall.

I live in Lagos, Nigeria. It's not a big deal here either. Girls ask guys out equally well here. And personally, I wouldn't look at a girl that asks me out as 'cheap'. Infact, that will only make me like her more..depending on her manner of approach though.
Christianity EtcRe: I Do Not Believe in God by goodguy(m): 2:30pm On Jan 02, 2006
Jesus knew afterall there was going be people who will not believe. But for those of us that believe, He says we're blessed.

...blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Humans say 'seeing is believing'. God says 'believing is seeing'. cool
Christianity EtcRe: What If The Devil Repents Today? by goodguy(m): 2:07pm On Jan 02, 2006
You want to start another argument here I guess.  cool

When the devil tempts you, you have a choice - either to resist or fall for it. That's freewill.
FoodRe: Do You Eat Your Meat Before, During, or After a Meal? by goodguy(m): 1:58pm On Jan 02, 2006
I remember when I was much younger. I never wanted anything to interrupt my meat-eating session. So I'd finish the food, wash my plate, rinse the meat with water, and then settle down to eat it. But these days, I eat my meat before, during and after the meal. But the major percentage of it is usually consumed during the meal.

sage:
God killed the 250000 innocent people?
This is one statement that forever baffles me. Why do we keep calling people who died thru natural disasters "innocent"? I'm sure if there are cities like Sodom and Gomorrah in this present day and something terrible happens to them, we will still refer to the victims as "innocent".

Pls note that I am not saying those who died thru natural disasters have commited any grave sins against God. I'm just sick and tired of hearing people condeming others for assuming that God punishes some people.

Besides, even if they are innocent, have u forgotten what God said in Exodus 20:5?? ..where he said, "...for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me."
