BusinessThe Business With Ebola by goodjack(op): 5:40pm On Oct 15, 2014
Jon Schultz can easily be called a business man that is very much ready to make money in any situation even if negative reality is present like a disaster. His company owns a good number of domain names for very serious diseases outbreaks. He is currently asking for $150 000 for the sale of an Ebola outbreak domain name www.ebola.com which he bought $13,500 in 2008.

Most well-known disease outbreaks on earth have domain names that are own by Schultz. Some of them are Bird Flu, H1N1.com, deadly mosquito-borne disease, Chikungunya, and another for Marburg.
Jon Schultz was quoted by Washington Post as saying that:
“According to our site meter, we’re already doing 5,000 page views per day just by people typing in Ebola.com to see what’s there,” said Schultz, who monitors headlines the way brokers watch their portfolios, to gauge his domain’s worth. “We’re getting inquiries every day about the sale of it. I have a lot of experience in this sort of domain business, and my sense is that $150,000 is reasonable.”

RomanceMy Husband Encouraged Me To Write To Prisoners - Then I Fell In Love With One by goodjack(op): 6:33pm On Oct 01, 2014
When housewife Jamie Jones found herself a bit lonely, instead of taking up a conventional hobby, or meeting new friends in her area, she started penning letters to American prisoners- with her own husband’s encouragement.

She had begun the letter writing in September 2012 as something to do to fill her time but then she fell in love with one of her pen pals, who was locked up for murder.

She felt compelled to confess her feelings to her husband Scott but he then banned the 27-year-old, from Southampton, from writing to the criminal ever again.

However, he said he was happy for her to keep her 14 other prisoner pen pals, convicted for crimes including drugs, bank robbery and assault.

‘Scott told me to stop writing to Jack,’ Jamie explains. ‘I think he was worried I would fly over to be with him. But he still lets me write to the others as he thinks they appreciate hearing from me.’

PetsDonkeys Reunited At Polish Zoo After Sex Scandal by goodjack(op): 1:37pm On Sep 28, 2014
WARSAW, Poland (AP) -- Napoleon is now back with his Antosia.

The two amorous donkeys who were separated because of an outcry over their lovemaking have been reunited at a zoo in Poland.

The couple, together for 10 years, got into trouble when mothers expressed outrage that children had to witness their mating. Local conservative official Lydia Dudziak took up their cause and persuaded the director of the zoo in Poznan to have the animals put in separate pens.

The zoo acknowledged making a mistake Thursday and said the donkeys are again in one pen after about a week apart.

"It was never our intention for any animals to feel uncomfortable because of their natural behaviors," the zoo said in a statement.

The interruption of the long-standing romance turned into a national news item in Poland in the past days. Nearly 7,000 people signed a petition to have them reunited.

Two fan pages appeared on Facebook devoted to their cause, with a total of nearly 10,000 likes - and photos of donkeys in the act.

Experts weighed in, saying the separation could hurt their psychological wellbeing. Politicians were asked about it on the country's leading news programs.

"Animals separated by sex into different cages? It's complete idiocy," said Stefan Niesiolowski, a lawmaker with the governing party, Civic Platform.

Even the spokesman for Law and Justice, the conservative party that Dudziak belongs to, would not come to her defense.

"It's a level of absurdity ... that has been crossed to such an extent that I don't even want to read or know about this," Adam Hofman said Wednesday evening.

In their decade together, Napoleon and Antosia have produced six offspring, including two-month old Tadeusz.

RomanceWoman Jailed For Testicle Attack by goodjack(op): 12:35pm On Sep 21, 2014
A woman who ripped off her ex-boyfriend's testicle with her bare hands has been sent to prison.

Amanda Monti, 24, flew into a rage when Geoffrey Jones, 37, rejected her advances at the end of a house party, Liverpool Crown Court heard.

She pulled off his left testicle and tried to swallow it, before spitting it out. A friend handed it back to Mr Jones saying: "That's yours."

Monti admitted wounding and was jailed for two-and-a-half years.

'Pulled hard'

Sentencing Monti, Judge Charles James said it was "a very serious injury" and that Monti was not acting in self-defence.

The court heard that Mr Jones had ended his long-term but "open relationship" with Monti towards the end of May last year.

The pair remained on good terms and on 30 May she picked him up from a party in Crosby and went back for drinks with friends at Mr Jones's house.

An argument ensued and Mr Jones said there was a struggle between them.

In his statement, Mr Jones said she grabbed his genitals and "pulled hard".

I am in no way a violent person
Amanda Monti

He added: "That caused my underpants to come off and I found I was completely naked and in excruciating pain."

The court heard that a friend saw Monti put Mr Jones's testicle into her mouth and try to swallow it.

She choked and spat it back into her hand before the friend grabbed it and gave it back to Mr Jones. Doctors were unable to re-attach the organ.

In a letter to the court, Monti said she was sorry for what she had done.

She said: "It was never my intention to cause harm to Geoff and the fact that I have caused him injury will live with me forever. I am in no way a violent person."

The letter added: "I have challenged myself to explain what has happened but still I just cannot remember. This has caused much anguish to me and will do for the rest of my life."

RomanceHe Held A Gun To My Head. I Loved Him. by goodjack(op): 12:27am On Sep 15, 2014
Following the leaked video of a violent abuse of Ray Rice on his fiancee Janay and the subsequent support of Janay towards him, Leslie Morgan Steiner the author of the New York Times best-selling memoir “Crazy Love” tried analysing the rational behind most victims of relationship or marriage related abuse behaviour of support for their abusers.

HAPPY READING

Just before I fell in love with a man who abused me, I spouted off to my New York City roommate that I’d never be stupid enough to stay with a man who hit me. Like most people who are naive about the complexities of relationship violence — victims and bystanders alike — my dismissal of the dangers of abusive love cost me dearly.

When I see footage of Ray Rice knocking his then-fiancee, Janay Palmer, unconscious in an Atlantic City elevator — and her subsequent defense of Rice after he was cut from the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely from the National Football League this past week — I recognize how hard it can be to leave a violent relationship.

Here are the times I wish I’d left my abusive husband, an Ivy League graduate and Wall Street trader I met in New York when I was 22 and a recent Harvard graduate:

Three months into our relationship, the night he choked me during sex and I wrote it off as weird but somehow erotic (for him; not for me).

The day we moved in together and he wouldn’t talk to me because a male friend from college called to congratulate me on the milestone.

The Saturday he said I looked better without any makeup and told me not to wear it anymore.

The night I was getting dressed to go out to dinner and he told me I was a slut because my skirt was too short.

The morning five days before our wedding when he first physically attacked me, because, he said with his hands around my neck, “you remind me of my mother.”

During our honeymoon, when he punched me so hard my head hit the window in our car.

The night he pulled the keys out of the car ignition while I was driving 55 mph on the highway.

The day he said I couldn’t spend Christmas with my family.

The first time he threatened to kill our dog.

The first time he pushed me down a flight of stairs.

The first time he threatened to pull the trigger of the loaded gun he held at my head.

Here are the reasons I didn’t leave my abusive husband:

No one in my life had ever made me feel so safe, loved, beautiful and validated as he did during the early months of our relationship.

I confused pity with love, feeling sorry for him because he had been beaten and starved by his stepfather as a child.

I thought I was the only woman who could help him face his demons.

In between the terrible times, he still made me laugh.

I loved him.

No one but Janay and Ray Rice knows whether their relationship has been violent beyond that elevator ride, but I do know that isolated incidents of relationship violence are rare. They’re typically part of a pattern — a pattern that’s the same no matter the education, ethnicity, income level, race or gender of the victim or abuser. In my experience, this is how it goes: Fairy-tale romance. Isolation from friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. Threat of violence. Actual violence. Convincing apology. Repeat.

One in four women and one in seven men have been victims of severe relationship violence.

The riskiest time in a woman’s life for relationship violence is between the ages of 18 and 34.

Up to half of women who visit emergency rooms have been abused at some point in their lives.

It takes the average domestic violence victim seven attempts, often over a period of years, before she — or he, because men can be victims, too — ends the abusive relationship for good.

Once the victim does leave, she is in the greatest danger, because most domestic violence homicides happen after the victim has ended the relationship.

Here is what helped me end my marriage after four years of brutal attacks:

I did not have children with him.

I had two friends who guessed my secret, who didn’t judge me for it or try to force me to leave before I was ready.

Two police officers matter-of-factly informed me that, if I stayed with my husband, they would find me dead on my living room floor one day.

A domestic violence advocate went to family court to tell the judge why I needed a protection order; I was afraid the judge would believe my husband instead of me.

My mother gave me $10,000 because she knew that money would solve at least a few of my problems. And she gave it to me without saying “I told you so.”

I hired a divorce lawyer who persuaded me to give my ex-husband a lump-sum payment of $3,000 as part of our divorce settlement, so that the man I once thought was my soulmate could feel he had truly beaten me for good. It was the best money I ever spent because I haven’t heard from him in 20 years.

When it came to a choice between him or me, I chose me.

One day, Janay Rice may have her own lists of the times she wishes she’d left; the reasons she stayed; and the friends, relatives and strangers who understood the complex psychology of relationship violence.

Every survivor makes these lists.

She may also wonder why people asked, so often and publicly, “Why does she stay with a man who beats her?” And why so few asked why Ray Rice would hit the woman who loves him.

I wish the world could give Janay Rice, and other victims of relationship violence, the dignity they deserve.

Instead of condemning her for loving a troubled man, let’s educate ourselves about the twisted psychology of abusive love, so that we can be there for her if she decides to leave. Firing Roger Goodell and blaming the NFL won’t do Janay Rice, or any other domestic violence victims, any good.

Rather, we should hold abusers — and no one else — responsible for the damage they inflict.

I wonder if there is any where in the whole Bible where God gave you the right ti determine who goes to heaven and who will not go. Leave God's work for Him ok. Dont allow your pastor to decieve you by telling you who to make heaven and not. Many people are in religious bondage and it a very big pity.
Christianity EtcRe: Will Muslims Go To Heaven? by goodjack(m): 9:31pm On Sep 14, 2014
It makes me very angry when someone sits down to start analyzing who will go to heaven and who will not go. What most of us do in Christianity is to act God. That is very wrong. Live a good life yourself and leave God's job for him. If God should decide to send everybody to the heaven you are talking about, will you slap Him? Stop asking stupid question my friend.
Christianity EtcPope Francis Marries 20 Couples, Including Some 'living In Sin by goodjack(op): 9:18pm On Sep 14, 2014
VATICAN CITY (AP) — Forty "I do's" — or "Si" in Italian — were pronounced in St. Peter's Basilica Sunday as Pope Francis married 20 couples, with one bride already a mother.

Francis in his homily likened families to the "bricks that build society."

Among the couples, all from the Rome area, is one in which the groom's first marriage was annulled by the church and the bride has a daughter from an earlier relationship. Some of the other couples already were living together.

The Vatican views sex outside marriage as sin, but Francis stresses the church should be a forgiving one.

He said marriage was "real life, not some TV show." He told the couples love of Jesus can help whenever their love "becomes lost, wounded or worn out."

Many rank-and-file Catholics have pressed the Vatican to allow divorced faithful who remarry to receive Communion. The Vatican has stood firm, contending only if remarried Catholics forsake sex can they receive Communion. Catholics can only remarry in the Church if their first marriage is annulled, essentially a declaration the initial union never existed.

Some hope a major Vatican meeting next month on family concerns might lead to permission for divorced Catholics who remarry to receive Communion. Francis has reportedly told a woman in his Argentine homeland whose husband's first marriage wasn't annulled she was free of sin and should take Communion anyway. The Vatican quickly clarified that the pope's private conversations don't reflect church policy.

Sunday's weddings performed by Francis could also be seen by status-quo defenders as the Vatican's way of stressing that marriage, because it is a sacrament, should endure. One by one, the 20 couples were called by name by Francis, who asked if they'd be faithful for the rest of their lives.

PoliticsUS Federal Air Marshal Attacked With Syringe In Lagos Airport. by goodjack(op): 12:10am On Sep 09, 2014
The FBI and CDC are investigating an attack on a federal air marshal who was injected with a syringe full of an unknown substance inside the Lagos, Nigeria airport on Sunday, according to a Situational Awareness notice obtained by FoxNews.com.

A federal air marshal reported being attacked by a subject while on the public side of the Lagos Airport on Sunday, according to an alert from TSA's Transportation Security Operations Center distributed throughout the agency on Monday afternoon.

It appeared to be an isolated incident, the alert says.

"The [air marshal] reported that the subject stuck him with a syringe and it is believed he was injected with an unknown substance," the alert says.

The State Department responded to the airport to assist the air marshal and his team.

"After consultation with the consulate and physicians, the [federal air marshal] was given precautionary medication," according to the alert.

The air marshal and the rest of his team--along with the syringe used in the attack-- were immediately flown out of Nigeria and back to the U.S.

The syringe also was transported back to the U.S. for testing.

An FBI spokesman said Monday night, "out of an abundance of caution, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention conducted an on-scene screening of the victim when United Flight 143 landed in Houston early Monday morning. The victim did not exhibit any signs of illness during the flight and was transported to a hospital upon landing for further testing. None of the testing conducted has indicated a danger to other passengers."

The CDC and the FBI are involved and have opened investigations, the alert states.

The TSA, State Department and CDC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

"This investigation is still in the preliminary stage and early indications are limited to a criminal nexus."

PoliticsRiver In China Mysteriously Turns Bloody Red Overnight by goodjack(op): 9:27am On Jul 26, 2014
A waterway in eastern China has mysteriously turned a blood red color.
Residents in Zhejiang province said the river looked normal at 5 a.m. Beijing time on Thursday morning. Within an hour, the entire river turned crimson. Residents also said a strange smell wafted through the air.
“The really weird thing is that we have been able to catch fish because the water is normally so clear,” one local villager commented on China’s microblogging site Weibo.

Inspectors from the Wenzhou Environmental Protection Bureau said they have not found the cause of the incident, although water samples seem to indicate the suspicious color was a result of illegal dumping in the river.

“We suspect that somebody dumped artificial coloring in the water because he thought the typhoon yesterday would cause heavy rain, and nobody would notice [the color],” Jianfeng Xiao, Chief of the bureau told China News.

“It turned out there wasn’t heavy rainfall yesterday, so the evidence is left behind,” Xiao said.
Xiao said there is a paper manufacturer, a food coloring company and clothing-maker a long the river. The bureau is still investigating the incident.

Foreign AffairsVietnamese General That That Defeated The French Forces And US Forces Is Dead by goodjack(op): 5:58pm On Oct 04, 2013
Vo Nguyen Giap, the Vietnamese general who masterminded victories against France and the US, has died aged 102.

His defeat of French forces at Dien Bien Phu in 1954 effectively ended French colonial rule in the region.

He went on to oversee the Tet Offensive against American forces in 1968, often cited as one of the factors that led to the Americans' withdrawal.

Gen Giap also published a number of works on military strategy.

He was born into a peasant family in the central Quang Binh province of what was then French Indochina.

At the age of 14, he joined a clandestine resistance movement.

By 1938 he was a member of Ho Chi Minh's Indochinese Communist party and fled to China with Ho, ahead of the Japanese invasion of Vietnam.

Gen Giap organised an army from his Chinese exile and returned to Indochina to wage guerrilla war against the occupying Japanese.

While he was out of Vietnam, his first wife was arrested and died in a French prison. He later remarried and had three daughters and two sons.

After his role in the war against the French, Gen Giap is also remembered for the 1968 Tet Offensive against US forces, when his troops attacked more than 40 provincial capitals and entered Saigon, then the capital of South Vietnam, briefly capturing the US embassy.

After the war, Gen Giap retained his position as defence minister and was appointed deputy prime minister in 1976.

However, he found himself sidelined by the regime and retired from government six years later.
