I'm a graduate of a federal university in Nigeria and completed my NYSC last year. I have been offered a job in a private avsec company which requires me to relocate from where i am staying presently(Lagos) to Portharcourt. The issue is that they offer to pay #30000 with no other allowances or incentives. I will gladly appreciate any sincere advice or suggestions on whether to accept it or not because I personally dont think its good enough.

Nairalanders please I nid your advice. I was at a night club last week friday with my homies to ease of the stress that the week came with. Around 3:19am, I got bored and decided to go home. When I came outside with my friends, I saw my best friends fiancee. She was in the company of some so called "big boys" of Port harcourt! She was smoking and seemed drunk. I can recall earlier, when Chibyk (nt real name) called her so that we can all go out together and she said she couldn't go out cos she would b going out with her elder sis to a wedding ceremony the next day! Should I let Chibyk knw or should I just let him it be... I know friends are suppose to look out for each other but am confused....Advice please!

Good, jst try and learn the principal of operation of those machine, the repair and maintenance, then u are good to go.

Of a truth, that is very small but I would advise u take it up for now, cos a bird at hand is better than 50 that r not yours in d bush, half is better than none, the only demerit of this is that u may not av enof time to seek a better job.

Yeah! you may be right....And as for me, the reason why I asked him his course of study is simple.I work with a Telecoms company and we need more Field Engineers/Riggers.

The only edge education has, is knowing how to speak english fluently.

...and this actors and actress speaks english fluently more than 99% of our graduate.

I remember the last one I wrote, the UI centre was filled to the brim till late in the night.
Didn't know I just went there to deceive myself.
Some people couldn't even write.
The people who get this job are usually people who have contact there but who are actually brilliant.
The few others like 2 or 3 who get the job on merit are usually "excellently-brilliant" people.
As per top shelf brilliant. I remember that a candidate during my time who was the overall best student at Bowen got the job in 2011.
This was the then experience sha and it was from information gathered.

Perhaps this time will be better. The point is;
You have to be soooo smart, intelligent and brilliant to get this job.
So folks, be at your best.
