There is this girl i like in my office, we started getting close, collected her number and called her three times, the way she was responding to me on phone i wasn't good with it so i decided not to call her again for like three months now.

I was chating with her on sunday and she asked me to come and take her out which i told her next week sunday and she was very happy, Called her on phone and she was responding well and smiling now.

Yesterday one of my co-worker told me that he went to toast the girl, she told him that had it be i am the one toasting her that she will not wast time to agree but for him no no no. I did not tell this guy that she had alredy asked me to take her out. Pls is she realy want to date me or she want to friendzone me?

Good day everyone,

I'm 28 years old, studied in UK, have both a BSc and MSc degree, got Second Class Upper 2:1 in both degrees. Completed my NYSC in February 2014.

I've been in pursuit of a job ever since my arrival in Nigeria. I've learnt first hand that qualifications seem somewhat irrelevant in getting a job, while connections a.k.a nepotism, croynism, favouritism is paramount in achieving one.

Each manager, HR staff etc I've met, all advised me to get a letter from either a Senator, Governor, House of Rep, Director General, etc recommending me.

I don't even know how or the necessary steps to take to obtain this inestimable piece of paper. So I was wondering if anyone can help or has any advice for me whatsoever. I'll greatly appreciate it.

Mine was with one of d big 4 audit firm. I realized I wouldn't be called for the next stage when my interviewer asked "did u think it is ur grade that will work for us here?". Regret mail landed after a week.

Were you the only one for the final interview? If not, try to reach out to colleagues you had the interview with. Or better still, if you are getting apprehensive try to put a direct call or send a mail to the company asked them about the outcome of your interview in a not too desperate manner. Patience does it shaa, success is yours.

I did my final interview with MD which he said they will get back to me.more than 3 weeks now i haven't heard from they.pls, any hope from them?

my Cousin got his totally on merit and Gods divine favor. hes been going through a rough time and needed a break. i went on my knees in the Alter of God and cried for his sake. Then this immigration stuff started. among all my siblings, cousins and myself i applied for only his name was shortlisted. i knew God was about to change someones life. the said boy doesn't even have a phone, reaching him became a task, but a way always manifest albert at the almost die minute. At the last stage, i didn't leave Nairaland, i opened my ears to anything that could be helpful like having all your credentials including JSS, making sure hes clean shaved and the rest. I DID NOT CONTACT, PAY, LOBBY OR BEG ANYONE. Lo and behold, his name was shortlisted, i cried that faithful morning when i opened his mail. since then i have not ceased praising God.

I dont have a worthy job myself, but i am so happy this boy is employed, it gladdens my heart knowing that God picked him up.

pls,what is the entry level salary?

I don't know anyone except God and my name was shortlisted, I think they used merit bcoz I did very well during the interview and the officer was even impressed that I had distinction in statistics.

Actually, it was cos of hardship and lack of morney that made me to got pass. But God is about to bless me with that pass

yeso,i graduated with a pass degree in engineering. Last week i went for an entrance exam with one big company and i did well,i was caled for first and 2nd interview which i did well,i was called again for final interview with MD.Just waiting for my appointment letter even those that graduated with 2.1 cannot pass entrance exam and no interview for them what a nonsence

my interest is networking but no morney to do professional courses. I graduated with pass is cos of hardship when i was in skul.my father died when i was in 3rd year and there was no morney,i wanted to drop out but managed to graduate by the grace of God.Now what am looking for is a small job that can help me do CCNA and CCNP

I can tell you for a fact that Oil and Gas companies pay very well. I know because I work in an IOC. The companies that pay most are Total, ExxonMobil, Chevron and Shell. The Oil Servicing companies like Schlumberger and Baker Hughes also pay well. Then the Telecom companies pay well too.

To enter these companies, you need to do well academically and have very useful/relevant experience. The people who work there don't have 2 heads. They are human being like you. The only difference is that they worked hard in school and prepared themselves for their opportunities.

For those of you in school, please study well. Try and be the best you can be, and come out with a very good degree - a First Class or a Second Class Upper. This is the foundation that you need to get into these type of places.

Secondly, don't be afraid to start small. I started small, but today, I am in an IOC, and I have been here for about 8 years. Dream and work towards your dream.

Thirdly, pray. Only God can bring you into these type of places. The favor of God makes all the difference.

Don't think that you need to know someone to get into an IOC. For Nigerian companies, maybe you need to know someone, but for the IOCs, please know that you do not need to know anybody. I got in without knowing anybody. I saw an advert in the newspaper, I applied, and I was invited for interview. The rest is history.

Bottomline, work hard, dream big, prepare for your opportunity, pray.

I Went for interview yesterday to a company that use to provide accommodation to their staff.this was The final stage with their MD,the MD now asked me,if i got this job where will i stay,i told him that i will be staying with my brother which i know they will give me accommodation.but when others came out i asked them what they said about accommadation they said they told him to give them accommodation. Pls,is it rong on what i said?

I'm invited for interview/micro teaching to a big secondary school onwed by Indian people on monday after writing their exam.pls,those that read education how is it going to be? Because i didn't read education. Can i wear suit for the interview.?thanks.

I traved to cameroon when i was 12 years to serve my oga.on geting there, it took me 2years to start primary school,of which i know that after this primary school no more school again.

So,one day i told my oga that i want to go back to Nigeria to start my secondary school,on hearing this,he called me fool,that non of my siblings is going to secondary school because of poorverty in my family,but i said no, i must go to secondary school, then i don't know what is university.

He promised to send me home the next xmas which he failed,he promised again the next xmas and failed.i started saving morney to go back on my own.

I left cameroon when i was seventeen years to Nigeria,i spent 3 days on the road with varous encounter with police men,is only God that saved me from them because i don't have any paper to show.

When i came back, i started my secondary school,during weasc registration there was no money to register. We managed to rase morney to register waesc without NECO.For God so kind i made all papers.

I took fist Jamb,scored 241 but couldn't get addimition because of high cutoff in medicine and surgery.I took second Jamb,scored 248 to study elect/elect,i went for post ume and came out as 7th person on merit addimition list in one of federal uni. Finally i graduated with a very poor result as a result finacial challenges.

When i was waiting for my nysc,i went to a man of God for prayers,after the prayer he told me that when he was praying he saw a crown on my head, that i'm richly blessed.

I went for a crusade one day, when the man of God was praying, he pointed at me to stand up,he told me i'm the light in my family that i'm richly blessed that very soon i will be going to U.S.

Now,i'm through with my nysc. But my problem is sex and temperamental,any time i had sex, i will be feeling guity and lost of glory.last week i had sex and heted my self,after that i decided not to have sex again til i got mariad since devil want to use sex and anger to fight my career.any time i got anger or shout on some one it will trigger the ulcer i have.

Today i went to submit my job application,after coming back i heard a voice calling me to stop that he has something to tell me,i decided to stop,a man looking like a mad man came to me and started telling me that God told him to tell me that i'm richly blessed and finacially riched but i should run away from girls and never had sex with a mariad woman.this is what i have been thinking for one week now, how to run away from women and this man is telling the same thing.pls how do you see this

I entered a bus one day,though, the journey was not far.
