Religious inclination and belief is personal. Even many Christians don't even follow the tenets of the religion to the later. They will even patronise traditional religion in time of difficulty. Many Christians have even advised me to go and fortify myself with traditional means.

I live in SW too, a Yoruba man places more priority on his culture/ tribe than religion. They believe they're Yorubas first before being a Christian. There are some cultures they still hold tightly even as Christians. They are more of cultural, regional people than religious unlike SS and SE. They will surely subpedal once the campaigns kick off

Yoruba Christians are liberals, they will surely vote BAT at the end of the day. SW have more Muslim/ Christian marriages than any Southern regions, they won't mind voting Muslim/ Muslim ticket. Tinubu is so much loved in SW and many have benefited from him and will still benefit from his presidency than from Atiku/ a Christian combo

If Muslim VP will give Tinubu and APC win Tinubu should go and ahead and you use it.The name of the game is win and it's still one God all the religion call in various ways.

Not a really a trap, SW will vote tribe before religion since they are mostly liberal religious people. Tinubu should just get at least 90 percent of votes in SW, then get the required percent in SE and SS.With a Northern VP he will win north based on party and his personal contacts .Kalu is right with his permutations. Tinubu needs northern votes more than he needs Southern votes based on their electoral strength.

The Immediate former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has urged other aspirants who contested for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket to come together and work for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general election.

Speaking through his Presidential Campaign Media Committee on Wednesday, Amaechi congratulated the former Lagos State governor on his victory and his subsequent emergence as the Presidential flagbearer of the party at the just concluded presidential primaries of the APC.

In a statement signed by the Committee’s Chairman, Kingsley Wenenda Wali, the former governor of Rivers State called on all the aspirants to put the outcome of the primary election behind them and come together to work for the victory of Tinubu and APC in the 2023 presidential election.

The statement reads in part, “We acknowledge that his victory follows a highly charged contest, which as expected, could only produce one winner.

“It is, therefore, our hope that following the emergence of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as our party’s presidential candidate, all aspirants will now close ranks and work hard to ensure our party’s victory at the 2023 Presidential Election.

“We thank all who in many remarkable ways supported the Presidential aspiration of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi and urge them to see the outcome of the primaries as a victory for democracy, which signposts the maturity and evolution of the political culture of Africa’s largest democracy, Nigeria.”

I said it a while back that Osinbajo will come 3 or 4th but not second. Prince of Abakaliki was arguing with me. It's common sense, you don't need to be a political genius or insider.
Northerners and even others hate betrayal. Osibanjo lost the little credibility he had left.
Osinbajo actually made the job easier for Tinubu by running against him. Tinubu garnered a lot of sympathy and admiration just because of the betrayal.

Another factor that helped Tinubu was PMB'S neutrality on who succeeds him.
