Let me tell you why I respect Tinubu.
Tinubu was there in the military era fighting for democracy with his personal money . After his tenure as a governor he continued influencing politicians in the southwest and we all saw how he swept the southwest and positively influenced the growth of those states spreading the progressive ideology. We saw the other southwestern states model Lagos state polices.
I bet you all saw RRS modeled trucks in Osun, OYO etc. Tinubu has done more for the Nigerian society and his mentee are not even in Obi category .
Obi is just good at making up figures for clout.

The way some of you from SW castigate Obi will make some of Tinubu's supporters from SE to have a rethink about their support
Anyway 2023 elections will be quite tricky.
Obi may not win but he has made the work tough for both Atiku and Tinubu
An Obi candidature will reduce SS, SE votes of Atiku as well reducing Christian and Southern votes of Tinubu

If the northern governors of APC didn't throw much weight behind Tinubu during the elections, Atiku will clear the north leaving Tinubu with SW block votes

There are many countries in the world without Eboes and they survive excellently

There is nothing special Eboes do in Nigeria economy besides importing and selling . They look so good because they have zero competition but in reality their business model is not good for the economy/consumers.
They are fragmented as traders and that means they cannot do mega deals e.g If you buy any piece of electronics from an Eboe trader he cannot offer a warranty because he does not have that kind of relationship with the manufacturer... too many small importers . No single major trading company whose CEO can sit down with the CEO of Toyota , Sony or Hyundai . They are good for themselves as single businessmen or traders but if Nigeria is to develop we need mega trading companies that can do big deals when importing , get major discounts and bring manufacturing home.

You just derailed in your reply to the comments. What I mean is that any policy affecting their business so dearly will affect the masses at the end of the day since their business deals directly with the masses
