The passion to lead was personified in the speech of Amaechi. His speech connotes this man as a down to earth man, sincere person

Ken Nnamani- One of few South Eastern politicians I like.. He did well as a senate president. He is not power drunk or desperate. He was a very brilliant man during Obasanjo's tenure when he was the senate President. But i am still surprised he decamped to APC.

PMB will not go for Osibanjo, they still believe that Tinubu is the same as Osibanjo.
The way SW APC caucus championed by Bisi Akande did everything to ensure that SW gets the ticket is so scary and suspicious to the north
PMB will surely choose an Amaechi who he trusts so much, that have little home support so they can easily checkmate

Too late already. I can tell you that Buhari won't pick anybody at this point. By the letter of last night he has left the process to the party delegates to elect the candidate of the party. If he wanted to pick a name he would've since done that. Lawan was the brain child of mamma daura and the cabal but the president dissociated himself from it. I don't see him picking anybody at this point. He understands that the best thing at this point is to open the floor for everyone.
