PaChukwudi44: Tinubu percentage in Buhari's victory was not more than 25% but the SW media made it look like he singlehandedly made Buhari president We stay in Lagos and know all these Yoruba media propaganda and over hyping of Tinubu. Non indigenes in Lagos nearly messed him up on the two occasions. That's why Tinubu unleashed his agberos to destroy votes in areas dominated by SE in Lagos PMB was not made president by a Tinubu. Kwankwaso brought much votes than Tinubu. North made PMB including the G7 governors that left PDP then |

Once Tinubu knew he had lost the primary election, he just stopped his national tour. This one he is inviting them is either to fulfill all righteousness or to campaign for his prodigy Osibanjo Any way Amaechi remains the unity candidate with competence, capacity and character to continue on PMB'S developmental projects |

MetaPhysical: 1. The person is on the list.
2. Buhari is using subtle language to hint he will be directly involved in seeing his selection is accepted by all during primary and transitioned to victory in 2023. It's foolhardy for one to believe that PMB will not be involved in who ever succeeds him .Just as the governors chose their successors, PMB will surely choose his successor. After all what's good for the goose is also good for the gander. SW people are postulating the person to be Osibanjo, others Lawan, but to me Amaechi is his preferred candidate for now Infants on this forum oya begin to abuse and call me names |
Politics › Re: A Quick Advice For Tinubu And The South by Gozac: 5:23am On Jun 01, 2022 |
ScamHunter: Without much ado, let's start:
Tinubu should know that his chances at clinching the presidency is as likely as a shot at the moon with a bow and arrow. It is so obvious considering that the North has practically preempted him as a modern day Afonja that should be used and discarded. Trash
Point one: We all witnessed how all the northerners in the PDP, Atiku, Tambuwal, Bala Mohammed, Saraki, et al quickly switched allegiance to APC to grab power from Goodluck Jonathan. That is exactly what will happen if Tinubu or any other southerner wins APC nomination. Buhari and co will move behind the scene to back Atiku, the way Atiku and others in PDP backed him to victory in 2015.
Point two: When Tinubu declared to run for presidency, his chances was 80%. Wjhen Buhari and the cabal started scheming, his chances reduced to 35%, when Atiku won nomination for PDP, Tinubu's chances dropped to 5%.
Remedy:
Tinubu should act quick and act smart. The northerners will NEVER back him against Atiku. Neither will the Southerners back him since we all see him as a betrayer. But it is not too late to redeem his battered image. Even his wife said that he was sidelined by the north immediately Buhari won. That should have taught him a lesson that a Fulani will never back a Yoruba man. Obasanjo was a mistake of fate.
So my advice for Tinubu is to quickly deop his dead ambition and help mobilize for Peter Obi, the only southerner that realistically stands a chance of clinching the presidency, based on competence and nationwide acceptability. Every sensible person in this country already knows that it is calamitous that in the 21st century that a Tinubu and an Atiku are still options as leaders.
Tinubu should collapse his structure and join the Labour party, while President Peter Obi should reward Tinubu as the Minister of Agriculture. That way, the nation will benefit us all. Trash |

Bendeco02: Will they ever understand that one... For their little mind tinubu is all and all. For hard core entities who have not gone out of SW, Tinubu remains the fulcrum on which APC, South and Nigeria revolves. I wish Tinubu will contest the elections and feel what Atiku felt when he lost PDP primaries to GEJ. He will lose the primaries woefully from South to North, East to West Thank God June 7 is few days away |

Amebaba01: I don't see Bola backout or relegate him in this race.He his like Atiku, their political structures are strong,it will take a God miracle to besiege such wall(which is like wall of Jericho) Buhari and all cabals known this. The best option for APC is,make him(Jagaban) the consensus candidate or allow primary to hold, because most governors will bark on Buhari since they knew that after 2023,Buhari will not relevant again. We people should know that politicians think of themselves first before any,I repeat any other things. They all knew it,the adversaries surrounding being in opposition. We nairalanders most note that,Both Buhari and cabals cannot win election again.Cabals like Reno, Diezani,Adoke are all in exile. OBJ singlehandedly endorsed Yar Adua and made him president and you think a PMB cannot do same if chose to. He has some months to whip any dissenting governor with EFCC or ICPC.Don't understimate the powers of a president esp in Nigeria PMB is a seasoned politician who keeps his card close and tightly to his chest. He drops vague hints of his direction from time to time that keep seasoned politicians and political pundits guessing He creates an air of nonchalance that makes politicians denigrate his political wizardry and machinations most times to their chagrin He then springs surprises that takes them unaware when they least expected it At the end he usually have his way Come June 7 PMB'S candidate will surely be the flag bearer of APC |

eldoradoxx: APC will have a modified consensus arrangement. Buhari will secretly name his successor to loyal Governors who will all agree to adopt him as consensus. Most Northern Governors and some loyal ones in the South like Uzodimma, Umahi, Ayade will go with whoever the President wants. Many of the candidates will begin to step down in the coming days endorsing whom the President wants. If it is not Tinubu, he will go on with his threat not to step down, but since he will be fighting a lost battle, the Governors who control the delegates would move in to give him the final presidential knockout in the primary using the votes of their respective state delegates. Once Buhari refused to sign the amended Electoral Act which would have crowded the primary with uncontrollable number of super delegates, I knew Buhari had played his game very well. All those drama about unelected government officials resigning before voting or not voting was used to hoodwink and brainwash National Assembly members into forgetting to include super delegates in the list of those allowed to vote in the convention which would have taken the contest outside the control of Buhari. With I hear a little above 1000 delegates alone voting at the presidential primary, it is a more manageable size for the President and Governors to control to achieve a predetermined aim. This is what's going to happen on that day. Most of the aspirants are PMB'S loyalists who have benefited from his benevolence through appointment I forsee PMB picking the president while PGF will pick the VP. |
