Don't underestimate the effect of fallen morale... it can make a war veteran run away at the sound of firecrackers.... The soldiers av been seriously demoralised.... their allowances are being diverted despite being meagre.... No form of encouragement, and very abysmal training before being pushed into the theatre of war....
