Excuzeme: [s]Lagossians would sit at home if the order is put in place and lik ein Italy, USA, UK and other countries, if you DEFY the LOCKDOWN order, you WILL be arrested, fined, lockedup or SHOT, as the case and need arise!
All this talk of wetin we go chop during Lockdown are non-starters! First, some of you will defy a "persuasive lockdown", to go and buy Indomie (since it is always about food with you guys!), then you will contract the Virus on your outing, become sick and when you eventually die (or survive with permanent Lung damage), that your Indomie will be eaten by someone who stayed at home and used their brain.
STAYING ALIVE is the First Law of Nature (Survival). People with common sense have been hearing of a possible lockdown in the last one week and they have been keeping small-small money aside to buy food that are cheap but can be stored for at least two weeks, without damage (Rice, Beans, Garri, Salt, Sugar, e.t.c) in the qualtities they can afford but foolish ones are online all day, shouting about how they will die of Hunger, if there was a two weeks lockdown!
Keep whinning instead of getting to do something to preserve your life. And this should serve as a lesson to some of some people that eat with all your ten fingers, No sense of saving for the rainy day, always playing Sport Bet and NairaBet with any extra change they have. Learn to keep a little chnge aside, even if you are a Labourer that earns #3,000 daily, eat half (#1,500....and keep the remaining half. That is what a responsible person who wants to change their circumstances, does. Stop moaning that you live from hand-to-mouth or from leg-to-mouth
BTW, l am not averse to Govt making an IMMEDIATE #10,000 transfer to the very vulnerable in our society, like they did with the trader money, so people can use it to buy food items and keep in the house. All the Rice that have been stocked up should also be made available, Churches and their G.O's, Mosques and their Imams, should purchase them and distribute to members, not just be selfish and think about themselves alone.
As it is, we all die together or survive together.[/s] Arrest my foot...No need to argue with you, it's obvious you don't know the situation of an avarage lagosian. You used a laborer who earn 3k as an example and you think it's possible for someone like that to save #1500, as if the laborer lives on the tree like birds, and he will crawl or fly to work , and if he has a family he will feed them on stones. Ask yourself how is saving 1500# possible with a person in this situation? Some of you will say things as if you're super-human. |

MrNipplesLover: my brother, shey u wan go announce am say u stack money put for house?
btw, na true u talk onto say the thing fit encourage robbery cos a lot of commercial activities will be affected big time (happening already). but, na pray make we dey pray say make bad thing no come knock on our doors.
make everybody just prepare, we shall overcome. Sir, people with bad intentions will also come to the ATM point and pretend as if they want to withdraw just to see the rate at which people are withdrawing money. The next plans would be on how to strike over night. God will help us this is really a difficult times. In as much that I agree that lock down will help in containing this virus, but it will be difficult for people to stay indoor when they have nothing to eat. Even Americans are fighting over toilet papers. |

briskconcepts: We understand that the Coronavirus situation will only get worse if the Nigerian government is not proactive in ordering a lockdown. Let's avoid overwhelming our health care officials and hospitals by forcefully asking everyone to stay home. We need to deal with this sooner than later...Even if we complain of hunger now, the truth is if we don't take care of this now we will still get to deal with hunger. We need to learn from other countries, We need to act NOW!!
(We need your signatures)
Can you help get my petition to 99 signatures by the end of today? I started a petition and I need you to sign and share it now. http://chng.it/SFwxsggH If only you know the % of lagosian that live from " hand to mouth" you won't be saying this... What provision did the useless government have put in place to at least assist the masses.. Maybe when they are indoor and hunger strike they should eat the wall, and chairs and table.. Lagosians won't sit at home, it can't work. |

Just only in 2020 the total number of Nigerian lives claimed by insecurity ( Fulani herdsmen etc ) is more the the total number of those who died of the deadly Coronavirus all over the world.
