@BrainPulse, nicely put, God bless you! softangel: God be praised, so glad 4 u. U v been made whole IJN.Amen, and thank you! @BiolaBee, I know, right! It all happened for His name to be glorified! |
Callous!!! Whatever anyone sows, they will reap, so whoever did this should be ready! God is patient, not slow! |
There is something called faith with wisdom; God will provide success if someone believes and works hard, He will provide food, but not spoonfeed anyone! I'm saying this, because there are people quick to dismiss the handwork of God, in what is so blatantly Him. I did give credit to the doctors, in documenting the amazing treatments they provided, God healed me, because I put my faith in Him with wisdom, and His glory will never be shared! He doesn't bless emptiness (when He wanted to feed the 5000, He didn't do it out of thin air, He needed the material fish and bread); same goes for me, when He wanted to heal me, He used the intervention of modern medicine. He is a God of principle, and will sometimes break protocol, not always! I am well, undergoing constructive surgery does not mean that I'm not, my life is no longer at risk from necrotising fasciitis. God's abundant blessings! |
biolabee: One question, did u go swimming at any time recently in an open body of water as a common theme for this attack is swimming in a huge stagnant body of waterNot at all, I did nothing out of the ordinary, it literally just happened out of the blue; doctors were mystified as it, usually, is a result of *something*, but in my case, no. :-) |

Even if I stepped on juju, what the enemy planned never came to pass!! Roland17: I always remind doubters that "with God all things are possible" your story is another proof, your faith took u far, u believed u were going to be fine..Exactly, until something happens to us, we don't fully understand the redeeming power of God! andyanders: God is the same yesterday, today and forever more.He can never fail. He is able and always able to do things that nobody can do hence His hands upon your life. You are an over comer and will rise to the glory of God. Devil is a liar. Enoquin: He deserves all the glory. Thank God for your life, sister!Amen!! :-) |
I am overwhelmed with all the support! I'm most happy, because God is getting all the glory He deserves through my situation, and what I went through. I have one response to all the skeptics, none of the nurses or doctors were there when I'd stopped breathing, and got a supernatural tap, ordering me to breathe, what would you say to that!? I know what God has done oh, so I give Him crazy praise! I love you all! |
tellwsdom: Can i see the present condition of that leg??..I mean how it looks nowAs I type this, I'm in the hospital, having just undergone some reconstructive surgery. I will modify with recent pictures. :-) |
OP, this is my two cents worth; this girl might be a good girl, but good people still get it wrong sometimes!! You, as a person, do not deserve to be someone's reserve, nobody should be in that position. If a girl truly loves you, she would stick with you through the tumultuous times, and still be dancing for you when the music stops! I hope you can sort it out, instead of making investments that will not pay dividends! |
sexkillz: [color=#000030]LOOOOOOOOL!!! ^^^ |

@LogicBoy03 Your post spews out so much anger, because I attributed my healing to God; I will do it over, and over again, because the doctors that saved my life were used by God! I am a thousand percent certain, and firm in my belief of God, and what He has done for me. Thanks for the well wishes, but I'm happy to stay on this side of the fence. All His love :-) |
lynpetra: You are an OVERCOMER!!! The devil is a loser.Cheers!Amen!! :-) |
oleku baby: Praise God for your deliverance and healing. Your healing shall be permanent in Jesus name. Amen. babynatoday: How great is our God tboy2k4: God is indeed good...Yes oh, only He deserves the glory, and adoration!! Thank you |
So, that man has come along, you're happy, super excited, and thanking God! There are some things we need to understand, because just as the bible says that 'a person's gift makes room for them', it is their character that will keep them where the gift has taken them to. Some mistakes are easily written off, some aren't, in whatever you do, DON'T 1. BE EAGER - marriage is not a do or die issue; to be fulfilled within a marriage, you have to be fulfilled as a human being first, then you can go into a union, and complete another person! Don't be pushy, because this will put a man off, and cause them to feel as though you're exerting too much control; men LOVE to be in control! 2. MAKE THE FIRST MOVE - allow him to make the first move! I know that there are some women out there with strong personalities, but all in all, he remains the man, the head; even if God has shown you that he's your husband, WAIT for him to make the first move! I cannot stress enough how important this is! 3. BE DISRESPECTFUL - no man wants a woman with an attitude problem! As women respond favourably to emotions, men respond favourably to respect. The beginning of the end is when you start to treat him with disdain! 4. LAY ALL YOUR CARDS ON THE TABLE - I know that it is normal to show emotions, but don't overdo it, please! It is very easy for someone else to take you for granted if they realise that you're extremely fond of them, no matter how much they seem to love you! 5. TALK TOO MUCH - please, keep your mouth shut about your relationship. Don't go telling A-B-C about how he got mad at you, what he said today, or how he told you he felt! It is not necessary!! 6. BE AFRAID - you need to be able to say how you feel, with respect, understanding that he is the man God has placed above you. You are allowed to say if you're upset, if he disappointed you, or if he did something wrong. Insecurities can also cause fear within a relationship, if you feel super insecure, ask yourself if you're ready to enter this relationship of give and take! 7. BE RETIRING - NOW is the time to talk, the time you can put your points across, your expectations, and aspirations! You want 7 children, now is the time to speak up; you have a calling on your life, raise your hand up and talk; you want to hold down a job, no problem, open up! Nothing is too trivial to bring up, communicate! 8. BE NAIVE - understand that men are a completely different set of species from women, every single one unique, according to maturity (in life and in Christ)! Chronological age is just a number; bottom line, men don't think like women, at all! 9. BE IDLE - being a 'liability' is not what's up, most men want their potential wives to be up to something; it doesn't, necessarily, mean working, but just an indication that you will not drown without Him, and that you're able to hold it down when he's not around. 10. GET INTIMATE - this goes without saying within a Christian courtship, but I'm saying it anyway! If you're kissing, sleeping together, or engaging in any intimate activities, then you're committing fornication - there's no two ways about it. If you can't wait, get a marriage blessing! Remember to give Him thanks, in everything! All His Love https://gracefullybestowed.squarespace.com/blog/2013/2/15/how-not-to-court-from-the-how-to-series |
I had noticed a very small 'insignificant' boil on my inner thigh, but didn't pay it any mind until a few days later when it started to spread at an alarming rate; within 2 days, it had grown to the size of about two £2 coins. This seemed very unusual, especially so, because I'd started to feel unwell, and funny! A few days after I'd notice the spread, I had a very bad fever, that lasted for a few days. I went to a G.P, who'd prescribed some Ibuprofen, and antibiotics which I took, without any improvements; the (now abscess) had spread, covering a third of my upper thigh, prompting me to go to another G.P who'd prescribed even stronger antibiotics - that was on a Monday, the 16th of January 2012, I went to sleep hoping to feel better in the morning, but little did I know that my life was about to be changed! I woke up at 3am on Tuesday morning, and felt faint, my abdomen hurt every time I tried to breathe, my breaths were few and far between, and my chest hurt; I knew something was wrong so I called NHS Direct who'd eventually sent an ambulance to me (after much persuasion; I'd called my pastor who'd prayed for me before the ambulance came, and I believed that no matter what, everything would be fine. I got to the hospital in agonising pain, and all through the day, they ran numerous tests on me, after which they decided to admit me; they all thought I was diabetic, because my blood pressure was so low, and my general wellbeing was deteriorating! The surgeons had visited me, and said that they were going to drain the pus out of the abscess to alleviate any discomfort or pain. Early on that Wednesday morning, I was taken into the theatre with the intention of draining pus out of what seemed like an abscess, what the surgeons saw was that I had contacted a rare infection, necrotising fasciitis, which had destroyed skin and tissue on my thigh, and was fast spreading. Things had become very serious, very quickly, and they started racing against the clock to remove dead tissue, and curb the further spread of the infection; I was in the theatre for five hours, and by the end of those five hours, they had taken away dead skin, tissue, and muscles from two-thirds of my upper thigh, leaving a very large wound. I was informed that my body had gone into sepsis, kidneys were failing, and my other organs were shutting down. During the course of what I went through, I was admitted into two different hospitals, totalling five and a half weeks; was infused with ten bags of antibiotic IVs a day; was given seven units of blood; was in and out of the theatre eight times; had to undergo physiotherapy to walk, and even get out of bed; was in so much pain that other people had to do the most basic things for me. Through it all, I held firm on God's words, and His promises for my life [.. for I shall not die, but live to declare the works of the Lord ..], He showed Himself strong! I vividly remember the times when I had stopped breathing, I felt a tap, and a voice saying 'breathe', there was no one else around me when I opened my eyes. The fight the enemy put up was no match for the defence my God put up over my life, and I am a walking, talking testimony! My faith in God is unshakable! Remember to give Him thanks, in everything! I'm responding from a Christian woman's point of view. What I don't get is that you say that you're sure to have a mistress outside your marriage if you, eventually, wife this friend. Please, take your mind off that notion. Marriage is not a joke, and it's fair that you're thinking about it so seriously, but you also need to use wisdom. You need to ask her for space, don't just ignore her, ask her for space, also ask this other chick you love for space, spend time alone with yourself, and pray about it, God will never lead you wrong. You need to do this wholeheartedly, or else, your fleshly desire will rule you into making a decision that negatively affects your destiny. All the best! |
