^^ @Les ^^ From your posts, I've gathered that you're a nice guy, willing to do what it takes to make your relationship work. It's normal for some feelings (trust, emotions etc) to go out the window when you've uncovered cheating in your spouse. Ultimately, you will do what works best for you! |

A few years ago, we didn't pay attention to news like this, because it wasn't happening in our 'backyard'. Today, Nigeria is on fire, and this kind of news hits closer to home, because we've experienced it somehow (for some people, first hand). OP - if you are convinced, and your spirit bares witness that your pastor is truly of the Spirit, then you should consider adhering to his suggestion. "... believe in His prophets and you shall be established". You should know God for yourself, ask Him for confirmation.
