I was brutally beaten by my fiance that i lived with tonight(he met my people and I have met his too)
This is the second time this is happening within a space of six (6) month and I have decided to end our 4 years relationship which started when I was in my penultimate year at the University.

I am staying with him not because I wasn't earning enough to get an accommodation, but because I wanted us to contribute resources and start a family.

I have never been a burden on him as I constantly ensure I bought enough foodstuff at the end of each month so he pays just utility bills.

I'm a professional in my field and I earn slightly above #100,000 per month. I need a place on the mainland but close to the island that i can stay for a while pending when I will be able to get my permanent accommodation. I am open to paying monthly rent starting from end of this month.

I can't spend another night with this monster. I don't know how to face people tomorrow about how I come about a swollen face. The sound of my cry begging him not to kill me still echoes in my head.

Those who went to polytechnics, got an OND, then transferred to a university to get a bachelor's degree, do they have an advantage over those who went straight to a university to get a bachelor's degree when it comes to the express entry points? I ask this because I want to know if going to a polytechnic to get an OND first and then transferring to a university for a Bsc counts for "two Canadian certificates, diplomas, or degrees, where one is for a program of three years or more."

Obtaining a 'letter of Administration' is not you writing a letter or getting a draft of it.

LA is usually issued by High Court in the state where the property is domiciled and issued to the Administrators of a property owner, who died intestate.

Intestate means a property owner that died without a will and in order for his assets to be administered, there's a need for letter of administration.

It's a very long process that involves documentation.

I started one in 2013 and only obtained in in February, 2020

It is also not cheap.

The property would be valued and you'll pay certain percentage of the value to the government, as well as other processing fees

So I attended my university from 2008-2012 but our convocation ceremony held in November 2014. On my degree certificate, it is stated given on this day November 2014. Should I put the year 2014 (when the convocation held and I was handed the degree certificate) or the year 2012 (when I actually graduated).

They said a couple of documents were not uploaded “authorization form” & “status of Canadian family member” so my application could not be processed. Which is weird as we used the web form and crossed checked everything. I’ve done a fresh application, submitted via mail this time and hopefully it’s sorted soon. However, my husband got his. His sister has PR & he applied just like me using her as his extended family member.

Entire process & timing:
Submitted 26th July: application authorization to travel + visa expedition
Response August 23rd: Visa approval
Passport delivered august 26th: to the VFS in Abuja via DHL w a return envelope.
Passport pick up September 3rd: DHL Abuja
Total process took about 5 weeks from start to finish.

My mom is set to apply for her canada pr. She has me and my junior sister in all her documents as her only 2children, no family member with her in ontario Canada where she stays. She works and stays alone.

I will clock 29years this December which I think makes me above the age of been a dependent child.

Her worries now is how to get me and my other sibling to Canada.

Please is there anyway or pathway to migrate to join her as am still battling with this ielts stuff??!
