In the spirit of #assurance, the DMW boss, Davido who has been on a love spree with his girlfriend Chioma for a while now, has taken the romantic spree to another level, as he has moved on to sign the girl’s brother into his record label.

This came shortly after he revealed that he had bagged a N60m endorsement deal for Chioma. It seems like Davido is on a self-imposed “operation upgrade Chioma’s family” and he’s not ready to stop until the last of them has been upgraded. The newly signed artiste goes by the name GENERIC       and already has a couple of tracks on air.

As usual, comments have come in from all angles, some saying the boy deserves the chance while others say he doesn’t. Many fans are still in awe of this whole thing because they never expected Davido to fall in love with a woman to the extent of gushing over her on the internet. It was shocking that he went as far as tag her the love of his life.

Obviously, Davido is making a slow but steady movement into the girl’s family and it is foreseen that he may marry her. The singer even hinted at the possibility of marrying her. Now that he’s signed her bro, let’s see what comes next.

However, while replying to a Twitter user, Davido confirmed he bought the car in Chioma’s name. Adegoke Pamilerin had asked:  “Hope Davido  bought the Porsche in Chioma’s name.”

A 21-year-old woman from Newcastle has revealed how she had been pregnant for nine whole months, but had had no knowledge about it until just about some hours to delivery when she had some stomach cramps coupled with bleeding and decided to seek medical care.
Charlotte Thomson reportedly kept wearing her size 8 dresses and attending parties as usual. Even a day before her labor she had been to work and no sign of pregnancy was noticed by her parents let alone her coworkers.

When she got to the hospital and a midwife disclosed to her that she was due to give birth shortly, Charlotte was shocked to the marrow because she had not experienced any symptom of pregnancy.


Woman didn't know she was pregnant until hours to delivery

Charlotte said: “My stomach was completely flat, and I’d been having regular periods so it was such a shock when I found out.

“I didn’t believe that I was actually pregnant until I gave birth. It was scary becoming a first-time mum with no warning.

“But I wouldn’t change Molly for the world, and I feel so lucky.”

The young mother said though she experienced fatigue during the period prior to the day she went to the hospital, she was under the notion that it might be as a result of her party outings.

“I thought it was from going out all the time. I still managed to get into my clothes so I just ignored it.”

On that amazing day in December 2015, when Charlotte was having the stomach pain, she took it lightly because she said “I took some paracetamol and hoped that it would blow over.

“Instead, the pain just got worse and I was in agony. An hour later I felt like I was going to be sick so I ran to the toilet and saw that my underwear was full of blood.
“I had just finished my period so I was really scared. I knew something was seriously wrong and booked a taxi to the hospital.”

When the news of expecting a baby in no time was revealed to her, Charlotte said “I panicked that I wasn’t prepared and hadn’t bought any baby clothes. I was so worried about what my parents would say when they found out that I was having a baby.”

However, ironically, when her parents arrived at the hospital, she said “They were really supportive and excited about their first grandchild.”

The pregnancy was for Charlotte’s ex-boyfriend, and she added that: “It’s crazy to think that I’d been carrying a baby all that time.

“When Mum called my work to explain that I’d had a baby, they were gobsmacked as they’d seen me the day before with no baby bump at all.

“My friends didn’t believe me until they saw a picture of Molly. Luckily I’m still a size 8 and didn’t need to lose any baby weight.

“Molly has joined the nursery that I work at so I can take her with me, which is perfect.

“Molly’s dad is an ex who is no longer in the picture, but I have plenty of help from my parents with the baby. I’m no longer a party animal but it’s worth it to have Molly.

“I can’t wait to tell her the story of how I discovered I was pregnant with her. Nothing Molly could ever do in the future would surprise me as much as the day she was born.”

Sierra Leone’s opposition candidate, Julius Maada Bio, has rushed to take his presidential oath in a hotel after winning the run-off election.

Mr Maada Bio is a former military ruler who briefly ruled the country in 1996.

He narrowly beat ruling party candidate Samura Kamara, who has alleged irregularities and says he will challenge the outcome in court.

Mr Maada Bio was sworn in on Wednesday, less than two hours after being declared the winner of Saturday’s vote.

Under Sierra Leone’s constitution, the presidential vote winner must be sworn in on the same day as he is declared the victor.

“[This is] the dawn of a new era,” he said. “The people of this great nation have voted to take a new direction.”

In a televised address, Mr Kamara said: “We dispute the results and we will take legal action to correct them.” He also urged his supporters to stay calm.

Mr Maada Bio, leader of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), won just under 52% of the vote.

He has already ruled the country, albeit briefly.

How did Maada Bio come to power before?
Mr Maada Bio, now 53, was part of a group of soldiers who overthrew the government in 1992 when he was in his late 20s.

Then, in January 1996, he staged a palace coup, arguing that his boss, Capt Valentine Strasser, wanted to renege on the promised handover to an elected civilian government.

His supporters point to that to call him the “father of democracy”.

But his critics cite human rights violations witnessed while he was in power, for which he has taken “collective responsibility”.

During his rule, which lasted just over two months, he appointed Mr Kamara as his finance minister.

Twitter has announced that cryptocurrency and ICO-related advertisements will be banned from its website from Tuesday.

Micro-blogging giant Twitter has confirmed its new policy in following the likes of Facebook and Google in banning advertisements promoting cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings (ICOs) from its platform. The ban will also include all ads related to cryptocurrency exchanges and wallet services, with a notable exception afforded to publicly listed companies listed on certain major stock markets, Reuters reports.

The ban will not apply to cryptocurrency exchanges registered and licensed to operate by the Financial Services Agency (FSA), the country’s financial regulator.

A Twitter spokesperson explained in statements to CNBC:

We are committed to ensuring the safety of the Twitter community. As such, we have added a new policy for Twitter Ads relating to cryptocurrency. Under this new policy, the advertisement of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and token sales will be prohibited globally.

Twitter’s ban was first reported by Sky News a week ago, suggesting that the ban would come into effect at some point over the next two weeks after Twitter publicly said it was taking measures in preventing crypto-related accounts from “engaging with others in a deceptive manner.” There has been a considerable rise of crypto-related scams on Twitter wherein scammers have also gone so far as hijacking verified Twitter accounts to trick users into parting with their cryptocurrencies.

Twitter’s new policy falls right alongside the likes of Google and Facebook who have announced their own curbs on crypto-related advertising. Facebook added advertising related to ‘binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency’ under its ‘prohibited financial products and services’ policy earlier this year. Google, the world’s largest online advertising provider, announced its own ban on crypto advertising which will come into effect in June.
