As for your partner and dependants, let them be with the marriage certificate so they can present it at the border when requested for.

No, the minimum standard working hour for full time employment is 34 or 35hrs if i'm right.

But there is something called "minimum rate" and "going rate" for each role, and your base pay which your employer is offering you must be equal to or higher than going rate.

So to be safe, a reduction in hours (which shouldn't be less than the minimum full time working hours) will keep you safe or a very high hourly rate should be offered to you.

I will humbly advise that MA comes back to Nigeria to do express court wedding, this id doable under 48hrs.

Get all the documents ready to proceed at the court pending his/arrival, probably tomorrow.

Try attaching a scanned A4 PDF letter explaining the reason for having the court wedding now to your Certificate once its out.

UKVI is all about proper and genuine documentation.

It has nothing to do with your CAS, so nothing is expected of you. That being said there is no harm in advising your Uni on the change of status

During your visa application please ensure you use the right one i.e Married if you are

In a case where an applicant applies as a single applicant but had to defer from September till January due to school's inability to issue CAS.

Now there's a consideration on doing the needful before January and just take Dependant (spouse) along. Does this change have anything to do with CAS issuance with school or it's just a matter of updating that at the VISA application stage. In other words, what is one expected to do since new CAS issuance is now Oct/Nov.
