After a still birth I experienced at full term last year, I just wanted to get pregnant immediately again. It was such a trying time as I got pregnant immediately after wedding and had already imagined and planned how I was gonna celebrate our one year anniversary with my 9months after baby but then again, it is what it is!

Amidst the devastation, hubby and I started trying again as soon as bleeding stopped. Haaaa! I did preggy test ooo! Omo the anxiety and anxiousness was just too much! I was just running frm lab to lab every month should my period delay for 2days only and at the same time, urine strip hear whine for my hand! I prayed that God should console me and comfort me. Told him to make me smile again, told him I wanted double or triple this time…. I tested positive two months after which left me in confusion that I wished I never did the test so early. I was just 6days post ovulation then. Was seriously down with malaria and so I went to the hospital and doc said I should go test for widal, malaria and pt. Happened PT and malaria came out positive and doc prescribed drugs to take for the malaria. I asked this doc if it was safe to take the prescription having just been confirmed pregnant and he said yes. I then proceeded to the pharmacy unit of the hospital to buy the drugs, at the counseling unit of the pharmacy, I asked the pharmacist if it was safe to take the prescription as I just tested pregnant and she said yes sebi it’s doc that prescribed it…. That was how I returned home that day and started treatment oooo only to bleed few days after and it flowed and lasted like normal period. I rushed to two diff labs on the first day I saw blood and both reported negative. The first lab said the result they saw isn’t a strong positive that it picked oo but then again it started declining… I sha no understand them abeg! That period was yet another sober moment for hubby and I. He requested I take him to the doctor but then I wasn’t ready to make troubles with a Gen hospital staff. We consoled ourselves in God, made up my mind never to try any treatment or medics again no matter what reason. Till date even paracetamol, I don’t take anyhow.

After that experience, i got tired of tracking ovulation, told myself I was just gonna relax and take my mind off it and I wasn’t going to waste money from lab to lab running pt again neither was I going to do urine test. As God would have it, I missed my period in Dec accompanied by feverish symptoms again! I took my time, wasn’t anxious to run to d lab to confirm or even check at home. I managed the pain, prayed, used my anointing oil and mantle. The pain lingered on that hubby had to say let’s just go to the hospital. Told him I won’t o… Naso I cry that fateful afternoon, prayed to God to heal me and not let any medication I take cause any harm then I took two paracetamol, sighted a urine strip inside the drawer I took d drug from and my mind said do this test just to be sure and I tested positive. Became so emotional that day, I prayed, cried, made declarations and shared the news with hubby that it’s confirmed.

Fast forward to first trimester, this sharp pain below my belly to my back on the right side started ooo, I’ve forgotten the name someone attributed to it on this thread. Ommoo! There was a fateful night it started that I couldn’t sleep. Hubby started praying, got my mantle and laid it there and that was when I had a peaceful sleep and never experienced it again. Rushed to the hospital the morning after to lodge a complaint, a scan was recommended and report said all was well that it could be ligament pain. Registered for antenatal few days after. Took my routine drugs religiously and started noticing my cute bumps towards the end of first trimester.

2nd trimester was fine all through, I ensured I never missed any of my antenatal appointments, didn’t stress much, ate well, trekked lil distances, prayed and made positive declarations every day! Unlike my first pregnancy, at this stage I couldn’t stand the smell of creams and perfs. Avoided them like a plague and so did hubby! God bless every responsible husband out there o.

Third trimester came with lots of worries and concerns as I already discussed with my doc that I don’t think my body is designed to fall into labor naturally as that was what I was waiting for during my first pregnancy and avoided getting induced until term and just on the day I was to now go for the induction, scan said they couldn’t detect FHR again…. So I was praying labor shows from 36/37weeks and if not, I’ll request to be induced at 38weeks. Dr said fine.


38weeks came and I requested to be induced, was placed on admission for observation, fetal kick count and I did a scan which confirmed all was well but Baby’s biophysical profile result ain’t satisfactory so dr said I should go home and return at 39weeks except I fall into labor and if not, he’ll recommend a CS. Told him CS how na… I was induced to push a dead baby, how much more a live one…. He laughed and said no more harm could be done then but no one takes risk of inducing a live baby just anyhow…. Returned at 39weeks appointment and a scan was recommended again,,, this time report said baby is in transverse lie and weight was 3.9. As at 38weeks scan, it was 3.6… that was how Dr said VGB was a no no as there’s no way I can be induced to push a transverse baby…. Was like how come but baby has always been head down since I registered antenatal and at all previous scan visits. He told hubby CS was the best option as he won’t advice I wait till 40weeks with that Baby’s weight hoping baby might turn…. I cried ehn!!! That was how I resigned to fate and got booked. Surgery was performed successfully and my baby girl came out looking so beautiful but to my surprise weighed 3kg. In all things, I give glory to God that I’m smiling again and instead of sorry, it’s a congratulations galore for me and my household. I’m recuperating fast as well and my Princess has been feeding well on breast milk.

I wish all waddling mamas a safe healthy delivery and sincerely pray that God wipes away all tears from the eyes of all GTC mommas.

Good morning mamas in the house, please what can I give my 1month old baby her tummy do make noise, and she use to stretch before she fart or poo and that always disturb her sleep, she like sucking even if her tummy is full.

To God be thy glory, it ended in praise, I stole January 29th.....Been a FTM it wasnt easy ooo but i give God the glory for save delivery. Mercy say no ,it wouldn't let me and my baby go, at the Point of death God intervene..... am yet to recover

Firstly I return all the glory to king of kings, I am that is I am, accient of day............................ All in all.
My Dr has prepared my mind for elective cs due to my history of delay and age. But he said I should be coming for check up weekly.
Na so I drove myself to hospital for normal anti-natal clinic only for the Dr to say madam we are bringing the baby out within the next hours. I thought it was a joke, that was how I called DH to join me at the hospital immediately. I was already on admission with Drs monitoring my BP every minute, telling me I have to be stable before taking me to theater but instead of my BP to come down it was going up. Dh signed the consent form immediately he arrived and paid, we were told they will need to prepare incubator for the baby, we agreed to everything. All I want is my baby and me to be alive.
I was wheeled into theater 6:15pm, I was injected at the spine at exactly 6:45pm my baby was brought out crying out loud but so small weighting 2.0kg, so the pediatrician that took the baby certified him ok without incubator.
I had 4 Drs on me alone just to make sure all was OK. My BP was monitored throughout the surgery.
It is a wonderful experience that I can't describe. Seeing my baby gives me more strength.
That is how God wipe away my tears of 12 years waiting.
I am now a proud mother of a bouncing baby boy
The devil tried to raise his ugly head but God knocked him down and said this he come to stay.
I use myself as a point of contact for those looking for the fruit of the womb that the lord will visit you and grant your heart desires.
When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no.
My January teamies I'm still with you, I pray it end in testimony for everyone ijn. Mother and baby alive and daddy rejoicing will be our testimony.
I have been taking palp since Friday evening but still not lactating. Please Sabi mamas what can I do?

To the Glory of God, my prince charming, my second son came on the 16th of November at 10.45am at 35weeks and 6days gestational age weighing 2.6kg via VD.

As God would have it, he has no breathing issues, he's latching and feeding well and we will be discharged today.

Birth story will come later

How are we all? We all have passed the middle line, so we are counting down , if you can start your shopping now, don't allow all those market people finish your money ooo, get according to your pocket, try and have a list so you don't derail much cos baby things are soooooo . God has made it easy for us.
If you can pack your baby's bag now, beautiful cos you will be amazed at how tired you'd get when you decide to wait till around that time. Don't be the mommy that will be rushing to pack amidst labour pain, my mom is a culprit of that .

I saw a hot water flask in the market "mega", heard its super dope.
Don't forget to pray, pray, pray. Even all the medical instruments that will be used on you, pray for them.

Please baby dance anytime you feel like, I keep saying God does not work with science, no matter what you take, if a baby is meant to stay nothing can stop the baby. Immediatly you find out you are pregnant stop taking the antibiotics.

Also if you never used to have sore breaat and nipples before af, you may be pregnant. If you ain't pregnant, the soreness will stop immediately af shows.

thank u ma, I do get sorebreast just for two days in the third week and two days to AF but this cycle lasted for almost 2weeks since ovulation time

Good day to all the mothers in the house,God will remember us very soon in Jesus name, pls mamas I did HSG this month, after it the doctor said everything is OK, but he gave me doxycline, flagy, vit C, and Parafen. to take, I couldn't finish the drugs bks it make me to vomit and feeling sick,I took it for 5days then I stop, he said I should BD in the same month, at the middle of my cycle I started feeling breast pains till this days ,my period will due on 23 of this month.
my question now are, while on antibiotics is it advisable to baby dance and while I mine having sorebreast for so long ,going to two weeks hoping it will stop when Aunty flo show?

You no one thing I have noticed about big brother and humans in general. Most times we vote people who we think are similar to us. Its not about pity. There are striking characters a person exhibits that endears you to them. Its either you aspire to be like them or you are similar to them. Look at the fans of each housemate and tell me that there is nothing similar.

Last years bigbrother I supported bisola, she is hardworking, versatile and has to many talents. For someone who never saw the four walls of a university, I was tripped! See tobi, Jack of all trade . his drive is over the top. I am not like him but I aspire to be like him, I am intrigued at how he drives himself to be the best. It is rare to see a man from a rich home who has his head below his shoulder. Leo has name and pedigree but not as rich as tobi but you could see his pride and arrogance and only tolerated Alex for the time being. Leo will not touch Alex with a long spoon outside the house. Tobi has name and money but I tell you he will mingle with anybody in that house except nina for obvious reasons. He is not patient like miracle. He cannot keep up with slow people.
