Samuelobiora19: Hello House, my profile was SPOUSE UNNACCOMPANIED due to our pursuit of points, but I got ITA yesterday for the Agric food program, and the CRS was at 354 which means I can add my wife without being ineligible due to points..I hope there is a way I can include her post-ITA (pre-AOR).. Page 1 FAQ 34 also study this link carefully: https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/588#102548277IF your personal CRS after changing to spouse accompanying is still above the draw CRS of 354, then you can change to spouse accompanying pre AOR, nothing do you. However, if your personal CRS drops below the draw CRS of 354 when you change to spouse accompanying, then obviously don't. AFAIK if you were already married (but spouse accompanying) pre ITA, then whether you add spouse post ITA, pre AOR or post AOR, the change will affect your CRS. Some people say they added accompanying spouse post PPR - search NL for them. 2 Likes |

While in the pool, I applied for study and was admitted to a school in BC. Been gearing up to apply for my student visa before ITA came.
I did upfront medicals for my student visa earlier this month. My question now is will i need to do another medicals for my PR or will the one I did for student visa suffice?
Please help a sister. Short answer - the old medicals should suffice. Page 1 post 5 - screenshot below is from there. As you don get ITA, no fall our hand o! Master page 1 sis... Congrats!

Allway123456: Hi Everyone
Please I’m very new to French as regards TEF or TCF. I estimated my CRS score based on everything I have and I scored a 477. However, I’m looking to boost the mark to a 500+ hence why I think I want to take French.
I registered to start the class and intend to take the exam by March next year. I don’t need the highest scores per se just about some points to put me on a 500+ mark.
Is this doable? Which of the two should I take? TEF or TCF Are the questions fairly similar? (Cos I read somewhere in this thread that format will be changed) And any other information I might need, please.
Thanks I would advise you to digest this thread from page 1 and be prepared to self study multiple hours a day. Get a tutor or join a school to begin. It is possible. Page 1 of this thread has a link to a TEF vs TCF comparison. https://www.nairaland.com/4672912/all-tef-candidates-canada-immigration/48#81510821https://www.nairaland.com/4672912/all-tef-candidates-canada-immigration/48#81505847 Finally google TCF Canada and TEF Canada to see sample exam papers. Most people seem to find: * listening CO easier in TEF *writing EE easier in TCF. In the past reading CE passages were often repeated in TEF. |

pwityjj: Hello house
My bank has refused to give bank letter as requested for POF. Can I attach one month bank statement and payslips as pof?
I received inflows for other months that I don’t want to include in the pof.
Has anyone applied with one month statement and scaled through? Page 1 FAQ 20 I'm not sure a 1 month SoA is a good idea. The letter from your bank may not contain all that IRCC requires e.g. 6 month average balance may be missing (which is why people use 6 months' statement as a replacement), but I would be very surprised that the bank refuses to give a letter at all. Don't submit a PR application without a letter unless the bank is happy to document that refusal in writing. In which case you may consider uploading their refusal letter, an LOE and 6 months bank statement. Escalate to the branch manager, go to another branch or go to the head office in your location. If you name the bank someone who has used them may be able to help. |

Vafrica: Please I need advise My application was canceled because the marriage document was not verified.
We had our wedding in China but China does not issue wedding certificates. We are currently in China, but we got a Nigerian court certificate which we did not use because our travel history does not show travel back home.
Our application that was canceled has the church wedding certificate, affidavit from Parents, and pictures of church wedding in China. But now that it is canceled, I am thinking of reapplying either as a common-law, or opening a webform for the canceled application to send the Nigerian wedding certificate.
Please anyone with experience or advise that can help? See below from the checklist on page 1 post 5 on marriage certificates: Marriage certificatePurposeTo validate marital status claims Document requirements*The marriage must be valid under the law of the country where it took place and under Canadian law. * If the applicant married outside Canada, a copy of a legal certificate issued by the country, the territory or the region where the marriage took place must be provided -As you rightly said a Nigerian certificate would not have worked for a marriage not done in Nigeria. -You did not include a LEGAL Chinese document (I'm assuming the church wedding certificate which you included is not the legal marriage document for China.......I may be wrong)....hence the cancellation by IRCC. My advise would be to get a lawyer in China to explain the Chinese law on this to you. Online resources seem to suggest that China does issue wedding certificates after you have both got certificates on marriageability (it seems to be a bureaucratic process too and may be worse for foreigners, sorry!) Chinese church wedding certificate may not cut it... I'm not sure you'd be considered married from a Chinese legal perspective. Check with a lawyer to be 100% sure. You could try common-law, if it appears you are not married from a Chinese legal standpoint - in which case you'd need to write a clear and concise LOE attaching documents that buttress this and say this is why you are going the common-law route. Hope you get another ITA soon. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Elevated2020: Has any Nurse used WES for credentials evaluation before?

Is Wes evaluation pivotal in an express entry Profile ? It may be Page 1 post 2 make sure you're scoring above 67. You don't need an ECA for your Canadian degree BUT if that Canadian degree is not a Masters or higher and you don't have an ECA for your other (non-Canadian) degrees, then your eligibility and CRS points may still be low despite getting additional scores for Canadian education. If it were me, I'd get ECA for my non-Canadian degrees if my Canadian degree is not a Masters. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MoyoGreen: Hello Good morning,

For PNP - page 1 FAQ 8 I would advise you go through the CRS grid on page 1 post 2 again to see where you may be leaving points on the table. Arrowhead12: Hello everyone.
I would like to make an inquiry on French proficiency and would appreciate your responses.
Using authoritative CRS calculators online, I ascertained that my CRS score would be 453 with just my IELTS general training result. However, with above average scores in TEF, I’d be looking at an increase to at least 510.
I’ve been learning French for more than 3 years, and I’ve taken and passed DELF twice (for proficiency levels A2 and B1). I can get a tutor for TEF to take the exam before the end of the year.
What I would like to know is, would it be possible or me to create an express entry profile now and use just my IELTS result, and then later update my details to make French my first language to earn more points when my TEF result is out in a couple of months in order to make me eligible under the general draw and the French proficiency draw? Or I would have cancel my express entry account and create another one when I want to add the TEF result in a couple of months?
Thanks in advance for your helpful responses. Page 1 FAQ 26 you can always edit your express entry profile. Page 1 FAQ 50 for which one should be your first language, doesn't have to be French to qualify for French draws. Also read page 1 post 4 for criteria for new category based draws. Arrowhead12: Good morning guys.
I plan on claiming 3 years of work experience in filling up my express entry profile. I’ve been working at my current place of employment for almost two years now, and I have no issues with getting any reference letters or proof from there. However, my previous employer was my PPA during my service year and I was in their employment for a year. There, I was only paid for about 3 months until Covid struck and lock down was ordered, and I wasn’t paid by them from the remaining 9 months even though I worked from home. Would it be okay for me to rely on payments from NYSC and my PPA assignment letter (in lieu of a contract of employment) or any other NYSC-associated documents and letter of reference from my supervisor at the time but doesn’t work there any more (the owner of the organisation isn’t going to help in any way) in case I have to provide proof for this previous work? Maybe get your former oga to write your letter....include his old ID and call card. If you were paid by NYSC for the 12 months, I think you should still be ok even if the PPA stopped after 3 months......hope I'm not mistaken. My thinking is that NYSC is the koko..... the PPA may or may not pay...... for example if you were teaching in a public school for example, that school would likely not pay you any jara salary. You could include your bank statement of these monthly NYSC salary payments with the ref letter or leave it out and only provide if you get an ADR. Option 2 is to wait until your current job covers for the 9 months deficit on the NYSC. Also read page 1 FAQ 36 and the checklist on page 1 post 5 for what IRCC wants in your ref letter. 1 Like |
