Health / Re: Scorching Heat: How Are You Coping? by gragragra(m): 5:21pm On Feb 25, 2020
You no get work or school wen you dey go? "Sleeping during the daytime"
scoundrel:
I sleep during the daytime in a pool of my sweat. When the environment is too hot I stay outside under shade or take a quick shower. The dry season is affecting NEPA too since they take and bring light every thirty or forty minute interval. To sit and watch a movie to take my mind away is futile because continuous electricity is never guaranteed.

Investment / Re: Daar Communication Dividend Payment by gragragra(m): 9:05am On Jan 31, 2020
Wonder how & why Raymond Dokpesi isn't in jail yet. Bought N7,000 (mumsy added 3k to top my 4k savings) shares @ N5 per share in 2007, was just leaving sec school. I only received certificate in 2008, 13 years gone, not a kobo paid as dividends.

I think Dokpesi just used the NSE as a means to an end to salvage his dying business. I'm going to attend their next AGM, I'll arrange boys from Oshodi & Isale Eko, they'll beat him up & scatter the place, i must collect my 7k.

BASTARD Olori ibu

Lalaska:
Guy, look for their financial statements and review it. If they have not made profit, then there will be NO dividend.

Also try and attend their next AGM and make your complaints as a valid shareholder. You can move a motion to remove their management if youre not satisfied with their performance.

Shebi if you have comprehension issues you'd ask for clarity. The JD says 5-8years frontend experience & not 5-8years React/React Native experience.

Even when the core technologies & languages required were mentioned you still didn't comprehend.

Na wa

benjijosh:
For A library that was open sourced 2013, you are requesting a 5-8years experience.

People with such experience that I know are pros and would only consider 50/60$ per hour.

I'm not saying outrightly it's a scam but they're not a credible organisation as they lied about being SEC and CBN compliant.

Even a slowpoke knows EFCC is a law enforcement agency and not a financial regulator, they don't certify any individual or company. If they even said NFIU I'd believe them.

Registering a company with CAC isn't certification of Business activity or authenticity. It's simply an identifier for a business for regulatory purposes, you can carry out fraudulent activities with a CAC registration without regulatory oversight from CAC as long as you file your returns.

Here, call SEC and confirm yourself +234094621168.

Be wise.

Good luck

Romance / Re: What's The Most Outrageous Demand A Girl Has Ever Made From You On A First Date? by gragragra(m): 9:16am On Jan 15, 2020
Stupid talk, you left the comfort of your home or office to go on a date with someone you don't like, for what purpose exactly? If no be something dey follow you from village.

What happened to declining invitations for a date or simply saying no to his advances firmly.

You're degrading and embarrassing your lineage making unreasonable demands off someone you barely even know, when it backfires or doesn't go as planned you come and yap "i was only testing him or using it that to chase him away"

Well done, madam test tube, sister Morgan Chase.

Lol Abeg, you most likely deliberately lied in your application for reasons best known to you and should own up to it instead of insulting our collective intelligence to garner sympathy.

I've applied, as irrelevant as Benin Republic is, i don't fail to mention it in any visa application I'm making talk more of the US'

Sure you've learned your lesson and would be more straightforward next time if it turns you truly forgot then you're one heck of a scatterbrained individual.

Hopefully your passport is released without being banned or flagged.
paddymo:
Hello everyone in the house, I applied for Canadian tourist visa in November first week, and I submitted all supporting document with my international passport at the document submission center in Lekki. On the application form, where I was asked if I have been refused or denied before, I answered NO, meanwhile I had a denial in 2017 from US Embasey. I actually forgot. I got a mail from Canadian embasy in Kenya stating that I choose NO on denial question, but the have record of US visa denial in 2017. This email was sent to me on 3rd December asking me to give details of my US denial within 7 days else my application will be terminated. I replied the mail afterwards 5days. But uptil now, I’ve not had any responds from them. It’s been 2 months now and they have my international passport with them. What should I do. Is there hope for me?
