I saw this write up in one of the whatsapp groups which I belong to and was written by one Mr. Daniel Ezeigwe, I went through it like normal online reader. I never intended to write this rejoinder because I know it’s never in my position to do so officially because the people’s senator has competent media team to address the misconception, propaganda and lies in the baseless article you wrote and after you saw it didn’t trend as you expected you rushed to re-write the same baseless article with another title ” Ndị Anambra South Should Hold Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) Responsible For This Disrespectful Profligacy”, but after some reassessment I decided to do so in my personal capacity as a concerned Anambarian.

Like you said in the first paragraph of your baseless and watery write up with the title above, Politics is indeed an interesting vocation. Also in reference to you, you have picked certainly one or two things that occupy your jaundiced mind in the craziest way. Your said write up was actually full of propaganda, lies, evil machination and rhetorics. It bemuses my imagination that you will stoop so low to refer the people’s senator as “DESPERATE” and even went on to term Soludo’s abysmal performance as a meteoric milestones. I doubt if you actually know the meaning of “Meteoric” because I think it was actually abused and misused by aligning such word to Gov. Soludo performance. The government that has performed abysmally and below bar since he assumed office.

Yes to me, Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) is DESPERATE. he’s desperate to salvage Anambrarians from the ineptitude, cluelessness and maladministration of Soludo’s government, he’s desperate to save and protect the people of Anambra State from the scourge of worsening security situation in Anambra, he’s desperate to create jobs for the teeming population of unemployed youths that are now been converted into government thugs, he’s desperate to create a friendly business environment for the market women and men where their businesses will strive and they won’t be over taxed amidst rising poverty in the state and also not be scared of government tax official’s ruthlessness and excessive behaviours, he’s desperate to rescue the artisans, public transport operators from the hands of Soludo’s uniformed AKAODO thugs, he his desperate to rescue the state civil servants from the illegal deductions that are taken by state government from their salaries every months, he his desperate to make sure that the local government system is effective and efficient by allowing constitutional democracy whereby the citizens of the state can choose who to govern them at the local level as against the TC been used by Soludo, he’s also desperate to provide better infrastructures like roads that can stand the test of time and not the politicized substandard roads been built. Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah is desperate to build a free and affordable healthcare for children, pregnant women and elderly. He’s also desperate to give a free and compulsory quality education to all students in Anambra State from primary to secondary and not the type given to the state by Soludo’s the more you look the less you see government and lots more. With all these things enumerated above and many more not stated due to space, I think Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) needs to be desperate.

Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) is not desperate to occupy Agu-Awka by crook or by force but through constitutional democratic means. That’s why he going on meeting various stakeholders irrespective of political parties and in the process selling his manifesto to the people. I know his recent political moves have sent shivers to the camp of the governor and APGA that’s what necessitated your baseless write-up.

It’s insulting to the sensitivity and intelligence of Anambarians by accusing Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) of maladministration. The people of Anambra South have never had it this good since the inception of this present political dispensation. Let me refresh the memories of you and your pay master that Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) is the only senator that has won an election with an unkown party YPP, he personal built and nurtured few months to election in Anambra State in 2019. He even repeated the feat in 2023 with the same party in the process defeating your party APGA on these two occasions. If the people’s senator has performed abysmally as you insinuated, he wouldn’t have survived the Tsunami of the Obidient movement in 2023, recall that the same Obidients movement consumed your party by making it loose the three senatorial district to Labour party and YPP.

Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) sterling performance in the senate for the past five years is unquestionable and attestable because it’s there for all to see. Ranging from bills sponsored and supported at the National assembly, empowerments of his constituency in various forms, massive human capital developments, heavy investment in security in Anambra State by provision of security gadgets and CCTVs to various towns within and outside his constituency and also donating heavily to the State government in terms of cash and security equipments.

It’s also laughable and excusable of your ignorance to accuse Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) of crass abuse of public funds. The question reasonable mind should ask you is whether Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) is in any executive position be it elected or by appointment? The answer is No. The Senator primary functions are to make laws. A Senator lives’ on his monthly salary and allowances and other money realized from personal businesses and does not receive allocations from the FAAC account or generates internal revenues. So which public funds are you accusing Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) of embezzling. You also accused the Senator of not providing to communities in needs of basic amenities like classrooms, laboratories, tuition fee and pipe borne waters. Your accusations have led credence to the facts that Gov. Soludo has already failed the people of Anambra State when you now rely on a Senator to provide such amenities that are under the purview of the state government. .Why didn’t APGA government provide those communities with the necessary basic amenities which is why he was elected at the first place instead of shifting responsibility and in the process shielding his incompetency.

How can you choose to make wide allegations about a billionaire businessman cum politician that decides to spend his money the way he chooses and with the people he chooses? Even before coming to politics, Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) is a known Philanthropist and humanist that have helped lots of people and also touched the lives of many people and he has continued doing so till date.

You also made mentioned of empowering the youths in his constituency, It’s a known fact that that Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) has empowered lots of Anambra youths even before his voyage into politics. It has always been in his nature to give because he’s a compassionate fellow. Like I have mentioned earlier before Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) has continued this philanthropic gestures even as a senator. These gestures has come in form of employments, giving free grants to market men and women, building houses for indigent widows, giving lots of scholarships to the very poor and so on. Go and Verify.

What has the government of APGA led by Gov. Soludo done with 10.8 Billion naira FAAC allocation received monthly from the federal government?, what has he done with the allocations of the 21 local government that made up Anambra State? What has he done with the 13% derivations fund given to oil producing states? what has he done with the huge security votes that has been accruing to Anambra State in the excess of 1 billion naira every month? what has he done with the ecology funds that has been released to him by the federal government since the inception of his administration? and other various funds and grant he has received from various international entities and donors.

I know the waves the people’s senator is making is causing sleepless nights and sending shocks to the camp of APGA because the love is massive that’s why you rushed to social media to tarnish the image of a divine movement and project ordained by God for Anambra State come 2025. No amount of your cheap demeaning write-up can stop an already moving train at high speed. Saying that Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) isn’t unique that’s why he won’t be a governor and also tagged your disillusion a prophecy shows that you are a prophet of doom. Only God gives power and Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah CON (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global) is a divine project.
