Using TUM's conversion to the German 1.0-4.0 scale, 4.20 equates to 1.5 German scale which is a first-class minimum in Germany. 3.9/5 in the Nigerian scale qualifies for 1.9 German scale.
Not all 2.1's in the Nigerian grading qualifies for scale ranges between 1.0-1.9 in the German scale.

The above truth is what has been giving alot of 2.1's AD. For all those that keep stressing its just first-class, do note that "1." Was stated in the German site. Some 2.1 very much qualify.

People getting AD's on those points are just on a low smiling at the gullibility of emphasis on just first-class on Nigerian grading system.

If you have 2.1 with at least 4.0, please apply for CAT A as long as you graduated after 2018. I rest my case

Twenty-nine-year-old Lauren Ashley-Nicole Phelps was stabbed to death by her husband while he was high on cough medicine.

An autopsy report states she suffered 123 stab wounds, with multiple wounds to her face, neck, torso, arms and jugular vein. Her husband, Matthew James Phelps, allegedly said he killed his wife after calling 911.

“I think I killed my (wife),” the caller said.

“What do you mean? What happened?” the operator said.

“I had a dream, and then I turned on the lights and she’s dead on the floor,” he said. “I have blood all over me, and there’s a bloody knife on the bed. And I think I did it.”

The caller, identified by police as Matthew James Phelps, grew increasingly distraught as he explained that he had taken Coricidin Cough and Cold medicine and awakened to the bloody scene.

“Oh my God,” he said, crying. “Why?”

Phelps, 28, has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of Lauren Ashley-Nicole Phelps in North Carolina. Joe Cheshire, an attorney for Phelps, said it was a “very tragic” situation but asked that people withhold judgment.

Cheshire said, “There’s a lot to this story, I believe that will be told in the future. But I don’t want anything I say to diminish the sadness and sorrow that everyone feels for the death of this lovely young lady.”

In the 911 call, Phelps said he didn’t know what time it was or when he had woken up. He said he took “more medicine than I should have” and woke up to the grisly scene. “I know it can make you feel good, and a lot of times I can’t sleep at night, so I took some.”

The National Institute on Drug Abuse issued a statement saying, “Cough medicines like Coricidin target symptoms of the common cold, and can also cause drowsiness.

When abused or taken in high doses, the cough medicine ingredient Dextromethorphan can cause hallucinogenic effects, including “sensations of physical distortion and hallucinations.”

Bayer, the maker of Coricidin, released a statement extending its “deepest sympathies” to the family. “Patient safety is our top priority, and we continually monitor adverse events regarding all of our products,” the company said. “There is no evidence to suggest that Coricidin is associated with violent behavior.”

Just yesterday a friend of mine called me with news that Gucci King 'HushPuppi' was helping people as he posted on his wall 'DM me For Assistance'.

This is very common this days with celebs so there was nothing suspicious about it.

Things, however, got funny when a friend asked for assistance from this unverified 'Hushpuppi' account and was asked to transfer money into a Nigerian Account first.

I couldn't believe it so i decided to do a little Investigation myself and was 'wowed' by how the conversation went.

Although, this 'Hushpuppi' account has a followership of about 26k, we can not be sure if it's the real Hushpuppi's account or just some low life scammer.

Final year student of the University of Benin, Caleb Obasogie has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly killing his 55-year old mother identified as Josephine Igbineweka because she refused to give him an undisclosed sum of money.

 The killing occurred around 8:am at their 31A, Iyamu Street, off Textile Mill Road residence. Witnesses said Caleb locked his mother in a room and stabbed her repeatedly with broken bottle until her intestines ripped out.

The 21-year-old aggressor who was the last child of the deceased reportedly dangled the intestines and his mother’s womb before neighbours before they could rush in to rescue her.



Neighbors said the deceased passed the night at a neighbour’s house because her son locked her out for not giving him the money he demanded from her.

Caleb is a final year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) while his late mother was a beer parlour operator in Benin.

It’s been 21 years since music legend, Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas. The hip hop icon was just 25 years old when he was killed.

Tupac’s death has been a subject of fascination for many, not only because the world lost such a tremendous talent in his prime, but also because of the mysterious circumstances surrounding his murder.

On Sunday night, Fox aired a two-hour documentary titled, ‘Who Shot Biggie & Tupac’ and despite the lurid title, the special featured real insights and evidence from those familiar with the cases.

Two police officers with intimate knowledge of the details of the murder offered what they say is the decisive answer to the question of who shot Shakur.

Officers Tim Bennan and Robert Ladd were both employed by the Compton Police Department at the time of Shakur’s murder. Since the shooting took place in Las Vegas, they were not directly involved with the investigation, but the officers did coordinate with detectives who worked on the case.

Bennan and Ladd say they pointed the investigation in the direction of a man who they still believe is the culprit. “We believe Orlando Anderson was the one who did it,” Ladd told journalist Soledad O’Brien on last night’s show.

Ebonyi State Police Command have arrested a 70 year old man in Akpoha, Afikpo North LGA of Ebonyi state.

Simon Alobu, alias ‘Papa Eke’ was arraigned for allegedly hypnotizing and repeatedly raping a 7 year old orphan, named Favour.

His first attack on Favour was in 2014 and since then, the man has allegedly been raping her non-stop.

The court heard how Alobu tore Favour’s bottom with a blade and proceeded to apply some charms to prevent Favour from revealing his identity until the girl revealed his illicit acts on her after attending a crusade at Adoration Ministry, Enugu owned by a Charismatic Catholic Priest Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka.

The poor 7-year-old is currently facing health challenges with body odour following the rape. She is yet to be given adequate medical treatment.

Favour’s aunt, Enya Martha reported the case to a special court in Ebonyi State known as family law centre and Alobu was then handed over to the police. Enya also claimed the man had raped her when she was a kid.

Alobu is a married man with three wives and 14 children. None of the wives and children are living with him. One of his wives was divorced while another is dead. The remaining one left him and went to her son who is living outside the area.

Narrating her ordeal in the hands of Alobu, the victim said “the man said I should come and prepare food for him. After preparing the food, my brother who was with me said he was not eating and left immediately. When my brother left and I was still eating, the man locked the door and carried me to his bed and raped me”.

Favour’s aunt became aware of her condition after she complained of severe pains in her private.

According to the woman, she took the girl to Afikpo where the rape was confirmed why efforts to make her reveal the identity of the rapist failed as he continued the act till this year.

The suspect fessed up to having carnal knowledge of the girl and that he did it under the influence of alcohol. He, however, denied that he also raped Favour’s aunt when she was a kid.

Last night was indeed emotion-filled even as your America’s Got Talent season 12 champion was announced as Darci Lynne Farmer!

The 12 year old won the night with her incredible singing ventriloquist act even as she switched between voice keys, bringing her puppet, Petunia, back Wednesday for a performance of Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better) with fellow ventriloquist Terry Factor, who won season 2 of America’s Got Talent.

Wednesday’s finale featured a variety of star performance acts as the audience was beyond wowed seeing their favorite artistes and contestants perform side by side. Contestants Angelica Hale and Kechi kicked off the night by performing Kelly Clarkson’s Stronger with Clarkson herself, and Harvey took the stage with Shania Twain in a wonderful duet of You’re Still the One.

Singer, Angelica came in first runner up, just behind the ventriloquist.

Nigerian favourite, Kechi Okwuchi, who rose from the ashes in a fatal Sosoliso plane crash that took 108 lives on December 10, 2005, came in sixth place. Kechi who was indeed thrilled from the night had revealed in an ‘after-show’ interview that the results were well deserved. She really gave her best, don’t you think?
