FallenShitHole: I pity all you one nigerianis Igbos. Even if you get 20million registered PVC which is very possible because we Igbos are the most populated in nigeria (don't mind their fraudulent census figures), will it ever count for Peter Obi to win in this nigeria that we all know? Who controls and is in charge of the PVC/election process? The fulanis!! Everyone can remember what happened in 2019 in Lagos. Igbos made sure that PDP/Ambode won the election, but what happened after? APC/Sanwo Olu was handed the victory. How can we forget the yoruba agbero violence against Igbos at Okota? Now they are repeating the same violence against Igbos in only 24 hours after Tinubu bought APC candidacy. Imagine the violence they will visit on Igbos on election day knowing that Igbos are over half the population of Lagos and Labour Party/Peter Obi stands to win in Lagos.. You just lied about Ambode contesting under the PDP. That is not true. Learn to say things the way they are. |

bjtinz: Abeg you guys should save all the long yeye analysis. Tinubu won because of his deep pockets and largely corrupt, hungry delegates. End. There was no way Osinbajo could match the dollar rain
My real concern is people, youth in particular are already looking forward to a Tinubu presidency (nightmare!!!) This is someone I could barely make out what he was saying during the acceptance speech.
Seriously, What is WRONG with you Nigerians?
Sigh ☹️ You have said it all. His deep pocket and the corrupt delegates handed him the ticket. |

RaptObserver: No amount of calming down will save him if he doesn't pick a Christian. But then, if he picks a Muslim he has a better chance of winning Northern votes massively because his campaign agents will simply tell them up North that the president and vice are Muslims so their interests are protected. But then, if Atiku wins that is the end of one Nigeria because all the parties won't gamble with fielding a Southern candidate again in a presidential election. So southerners who still want to remain in this country must support Tinubu regardless of the religion of his VP. This is based on political expediency not sentiments. Is Tinubu the only southern Presidential candidate? Why use the word: must ? |

Tinubu is winning 2023 election landslide, ATiku can only try.
Don't take my word for it, it is just 6 months time, you can screenshot this. With the poverty and hunger he and his party have unleashed on Nigerians? Like someone said, I want to see how he will buy the conscience of Nigerians with his ill gotten wealth. |

NaughtyBrainiac: Most of the people saying Tinubu is a Thief and that Osinbajo is the man for the job are only being sentimental. Have they forgotten that this same "Thief" produced Osinbajo!
There are several other people Tinubu could have used for the job.
On the other hand, you guys are shouting Osinbajo Osinbajo, can Osinbajo even stand a Fashola who is also one of Tinubu's products?
I hate sentiments. It is okay to support Osinbajo ( I also love the man) but it is absolutely wrong to support Osinbajo and bad mouth Tinubu. Most of you guys doing this attend RCCG and other churches. It is more of an RCCG/Christianity sentiments. Whether Tinubu or Osinbajo emerges, it is very okay.
Tinubu should not be bad mouthed because of Osinbajo's ambition, Tinubu does not deserve being called names! Are you saying the son of a thief cannot be responsible and that of a pastor cannot be a thief? |

Just thinking aloud Primary elections especially of this kind are won by moneybags. Atiku and Wike of the PDP readily come to mind. On the other hand, the people and political interest determine the outcome of the general election. Political moneybags don't. |

What do you gain by lying blatantly in a public forum? Who is the head of the rotten system in Lagos since 1999? It’s only here in Nigeria you guys try to turn Buhari into a demigod. He is free to name his preferred candidate but the person can still be defeated…..Anointing Oil or no anointing oil. You guys should muster some Confidence in yourselves….after all Buhari himself was defeated three times before someone came to his rescue! Let us watch and see how powerful Tinubu is. I will remind you about this after the convention. |

shinealight: What do you have Delegates for at Indirect Primaries? Is it democratic for Buhari to make the Delegates redundant and usurp their powers? Yes, the generality of the citizens will vote at the general election but the Delegates who are Representatives of the people at grassroots level must also be allowed to vote at the Primaries. Simplicita! How many persons contested against Sanwo-Olu? Tinubu is anything but democratic. |

That’s all Tinubu is asking for……let there be a contest at the Primaries…..he’s sure he can beat Buhari’s candidate! That’s democracy!! Will Nigerians not also vote to decide who becomes the President? There is nothing like democratic about Tinubu, so he is not in any position to reject Buhari’s concensus candidate. |

Politics › Re: Salihu Lukman And His Grandstanding Over Buhari’s Successor - Suleiman Musa by Great2017: 1:35am On Jun 03, 2022 |
lugado: Two wrongs can never make a right. If the governors are doing it doesn't mean it's right. Buhari is the president of Nigeria. He should lead by example . He should not be following what the governors are doing. Besides the governors do not wait for the last minute before expressing their intentions. It saves a lot of stress and it removes controversy The presidency cannot be compared to any office in Nigeria If Buhari had performed very well during his tenure it would have given a lot of clout and confidence to announce his successor early. But right now ,honestly nobody trust his decisions anymore. That's why people have the confidence to come out to contest But Tinubu should not benefit from it. |

Goons like you Suleiman Musa should also desist from turning Buhari into a demigod. What Nonsense! How about Tinubu choosing the governors of Lagos since 2007? If anybody should complain about concensus, it should not be Tinubu. |

I like to say we nairalanders were shocked just like the presidency.. We don't see it as an insult,we were just shocked.
Secondly we both know that are no channels to reach him...Ear infection and boss is hardly around.. Envision an adventurer for starters
Thirdly I will advise you stop drinking panadol for another man's headache not just another man,oga boss!..His tenure will come and go.
Lastly not only did the presidency not read past the first paragraph,we know letter did not pass second gate at the Aso villa..
Thanks for letting us know you are a senior member of the ndi oshi cartel....More grease to your stealing elbows The correct form of this peculiarly British English expression is “more power to your elbow". |
