I HV actually had my own share of the national cake in the hands of police officers around 2011. I was arrested because I was driving an Honda EOD my mums car. I was made to park in front of a bank and I was snapped there. I was even told I was been trailed all the way from Lagos. Men it was dehumanising. I was taking to the station and my phone was ceased so I can't even put a call to my mum, bro or any relation. I was told to write statement that I was caught in front of a bank etc. Men it was a nightmare. I was behind the counter. In my most Gentle form. A machete was in the boot which I actaulky took to my mums site to do some weeding on my flower bed and it was used as an item against me, 15k was seen in d car as well as it was called exhibit. My offence was a teenager was driving an EOD and then EOD could only be used by a few well to do pple. My dash away was one of the police made me promise that if he gvs me his phone to call my mun I will gv him 5k when m realised. So I called my mum and she put call to pple that matter. I didn't spend another minute there before the dpo himself told them to release me. But it was my turn to shine so I just started acting emotional crying etc.


Cut the long story short, my uncle who used to be a military governor was involved and called some big political officers . and the commissioner of police in that province got a wind of the altercation... Bla bla bla . I never coz of that hate the police in fact I realised from that little romantic regimental dinner that they are all humans giving rifle and most folks who call them bad names will do worst if giving a rifle.

And abt just posting pix of the carnival, not sure I can do well as a photo journalist but I will try. You can tag along though. And about the bullying part, I feel am the victim here

You don't get it. HV made some controversial comments here. There was a time a military man was said to misbehave and I supported him in the spirit of camaraderie. I never knew the gravity of things till early last month when news made FP of ariforce soldiers killing A man in sokoto coz dey called his gf an harlot. I tried condemning the attacks until I saw over 30 mentions all telling me y am I condemning what am part of. One even said he won't be shocked if am the airforce officer. As if that was not enough early this week I saw a mention on a topic of a planned protest to free sowore and Someone just commented Buhari will order greatbrian and his boys to dance python etc. Men i felt weak like what kinda image HV I build over time. And the funny thing is I look back at some comment I made and still can't fathom any hiccup.

Was there last year and the previous... It was fun. I won't make a thread for it biko. HV stepped on toes on nairaland and the last thing I want is my picture flying. Last year own was great I took part in the bikers rally and I must commend Ben Ayade for calabar roads. He even paid lots of artiste for free shows in the metropolis. Mr P, phyno and co the last day was the best. The march in the stadium that made some ladiesarch totally unclad from breast up. It was a sight to behold

I have never tried making them since they are easy to buy anywhere, I do take them though (sometimes too much, especially when the weather is hot! )

The Hausa version of smoothies here sucks. And again i hardly buy edible stuffs outside. My mum brought me up to see everyone level of hygiene very questionable. So I frown at most stuffs that enters my mouth. Especially when am absent at the making.

Hopefully I will marry a handy woman who z good in all the rooms.

My opinion is that you should be able to offer your guests different things to take and not just what you enjoy taking. You can learn on youtube or google how to mix different drinks and how they compliment different foods

You will know the vodka is perfect by measuring it in a thimble. But my knowledge on different types is lacking because I dont drink, so I dont know the difference

I purposely learn about drinks and how to mix them because I know I dont like alcohol ... at least for hospitality's sake you should know how to mix and serve a drink, plus which foods go with which drinks. Its a useful hosting skill



I dont know where that "women's drink" stuff comes from because vodka will get you high quicker than beer and women already have a lower alcohol tolerance

It was one break so I decided to club for the first time. I was told by those dare devils that Smirnoff ice na woman drink e no strong at all. So I danced to their tune. It was my first and last time trying alcohol though. I prefer my hollandia strawberry flavour. That one goes well with my system

The last time I checked the good book, I saw woe to a man who is mighty in drinking. Meanwhile, you need to redefine the phrase mildly. Am a man and I tried drinking once that was like 3 years ago. I tried a bottle of Smirnoff. I never reach half self I don't knock and I was seeing the sun in the night. My dash away was we were in soldiers club so I just got a room and crashed. Alcohol might HV some few health benefit but not all men are cleared to take it. I HV a pal who can mix Andre with Scotch etc and will still double 10km without feeling dizzy but me ordinary smirn off knocked me totally out. Not even up to a bottle.
