you better get properly informed before you blame it on your car. You were speeding with the wrong car tyre and you had a blow out you de complain. Depending on the rating of your tyre, there are certain speeds ypu cant attain. See the images i posted below to understand better.

How real is this? Talking of the images

The reason people attacked u was because of the way u put the blame on the Corolla as if it was the Corolla that caused the tire to blow out. A lot of things can cause a tire to blow out at high speed. Over inflated tire will blow out at high speed, u really need to get one of those portable tire guages, these useless road side vilcanizers are murderers, one of them once put 60psi on my tire when I was about going on a long journey. That's a tire that was supposed to be inflated to 32 at cold, he put 60, I had to double check and deflated it myself to the recommended pressure.

Another thing that can cause tire blow out is work our tire, bad roads, etc. One of these is the culprits, not the Corolla.

I didn't blame the car though. Maybe it sounded does. I was in an haste and as a fact I learnt not to speeed with Japanese the day an rx330 almost drifted inside the bush while entering a corner with 120 or so. Though the breaking system was just too bad and I mean this. Either way sha. The thread is over and for the dude chasing unrealistic clout using me to show is English speaking skills gravatar or whatever he his I hope he meets his match cos am not.

A pity a lot of folks are quick to point out accusations without getting the point behind the topic. For the name calling, I forgive whoever thinks he has it all and for the shoes etc, that was the vukganizer after first technical university I gave paid to help change to the spare tyres. As a for the car, I got it when all my cars were down due to illness so I hardly even use it or so and for those talking about the expiry for the tyres, I really can't say much about that. A day before I left I still took it to the mechanic to ascertain the condition the inky thing he pointed out was the break pads in the driver side which I changed asap and few other stuffs. Either ways enjoy

Complete and utter garbage post. Deserves to be in the trash. Then again, considering your previous posts and your less than sensible comments and antecedents, one shouldn't expect anything reasonable from you and people like you.

You took a vehicle to the expressway, a definitely poorly maintained vehicle considering that you're the owner or driver, and then drove at speeds far above the designated speed limits, and the vehicle tyres had a blowout.

Instead of you to put 100% of the blame on yourself and your very poor decision making abilities, you decided to blame the vehicle.

Your life is just a good example of the saying "A poor workman quarrels with his tools". Every thread you make, you're putting blame on everything and everyone apart from the primary target of the blame, which is yourself.

Just take a look at the near bald tyres you decided to take to the expressway, I shudder to imagine just how terrible the condition of that car would be, with you as the owner. Frankly I don't care about you or about anything that happens to you because of your terrible decisions. My concern is for other road users and motorists who you may maim or kill with your senselessness.

My only hope is that you're the only one that would be affected if anything happens due to your lack of acuity, nobody else.

Will be waiting for your next thread where you blame Buhari for your wife not getting pregnant, or you blame your pot for your food not being tasty.

Nonsense.

The name calling and all is uncalled for. Have fun

For the folks talking about tyres and all, that's a picture of the car before I travelled with it in the mechanics place to check all checkables. Tyres, changed break pads etc. As a fact I left ekiti for Ibadan 9pm Sunday and the car was without a stain I even did 130+ on the sick Ife Ibadan road.

140-150? You sound like one of my roommates in Abuja. He's a speed freak. I can never be in a car where the driver goes further than 100-110.

Why didn't you leave ibadan earlier? And, I hope you met the flight?

I even spent more time in Lagos traffic than in Lagos Ibadan express way
Car Talk / My Tyre Got Ruined While Speeding On The Highway by greatbrian(m): 8:18am On Sep 21, 2021
This happened yesterday morning, I had a flight to catch at the airport by 9 and I left Ibadan past 7 with my Toyota corolla sport. Las las Ibadan traffic dey mild and as I entered that Lagos Ibadan express way oboy Audi mode activated. I was doing around 140 to 150 when I heard a loud bang and gbagbagbagbagbahba. In sub seconds my brain processed that na tyre and if I match break oboy the car go start acrobatic display. Las las I drag gear for neutral and car came to stop after few seconds. Damaged my bumper, sand protector and some part of the rim.

Next time I will make sure I don't go above 100 with a corolla that's if there will be a next time with one.

And the breaking system is just so stupid and all. I wonder how corolla lovers cope

Religion / Re: My Experience With Prophecy by greatbrian(m): 10:04am On Sep 12, 2021
Had an experience

Had this prophet I really don't fancy as such. Met him through my mum. One day he called and was like am I planning to buy a car and he advised I make do away with SUVs or cars generally because he saw an accident looming. Am not a deep Christian any more I even hardly pray so as the prophecy entered the right ear it left through the left. 2 month after, I wanted having a taste what Lexus Rx feels like and I put money into an Rx350 07. The day I got the car I decided to take it home in ekiti before i set out for calabar just for mama blessing. I left Lagos around 6pm and got to Ife around 12. Saw buses parked around oodua I asked xup and they were like robbery around Ilesha road been the strong headed guy I was and with the power and strength in my jack knife, pepper spray and helmet I felt nothing dey happen. Las las sha I almost died that night from an accident while avoiding the large nails those fuckers placed as a speed breaker. Tyre burst on motion, fender remove but I no stop with the cohort of folks following me behind. I called my mum and told her and she was like she was praying throughout cos the prophet told her about it again.

2. A lady I just met at a time. I didn't even tell my mum yet las las we went to this propjets church for night vigil that year, after service he was like I should be careful of a light skinned lady am planning to start a serious relationship with so I won't marry an empty box of matches. (Said it in Yoruba). I got home that day and messaged aunty after much brain washing and all,she came out to tell me she has aborted like 3-4 times for the same guy and the last one affected her. Oboy na so I tell her her baggage too big for me o.

Which means you'd be passing through Congo. You need to plan that properly. From the first border to the other border bordering Tanzania or Uganda (as the case may be), you will need a lotta of manipulation through the Nigerian/Anglophone hating people of Congo. When you pass the border try not to tell thr locals you're from Nigeria, they hate Nigerians or any other English speakers.

And it seems you will also be passing through CAR? Hmmnn.

Real camera does this type of Job better than phone camera. All the same, we Nairalanders wish you well.

.

You seem to be conversant with the route. I read a out the anglophone and francophone issues especially Cameroon and yeah I will pass through CAR from the map study. Am also taking a course to resharpen my French skills.

Ingot my gas bills covered. As long as you have a passport and perhaps international driver license there might be a room for one. And cost implication going to selous, Serengeti and many other stop over for you will be on you.

Update.

I decided not to use any of the above cars, so I went on jiji to search for a rugged old piece of bliss and I saw a 1978 or so 4 runner. Red, manual gear with auxiliary and many more. I spoke to the vendor via WhatsApp and he said 1.350m last. As bit on the high side though considering the fact I will still mod it up talking of tyres suspension etc. I will go check the Car tomorrow and possibly I might pay for it since its in Akure.

Rich people in Nigeria always have this faux Western culture appropriateness.

It's obviously because you eat a decent meal, have a lot of spare cash to burn.

Because by December 6, I'm thinking about my house rent of almost 1.5 million per year.

Which time will I use to explore Ikeja GRA, talk more of Ghana.

All the best in your chosen endeavour.

I use to have this mentality bro, as a fact, am A very busy person but I just don't wanna live life on the definition of an average man. Pay bills, go to work eat sleep make kids and die. And if I wait till I can count a lot of millions in my account before I do the things I see as fun, I might as well go to grave first. No long story, its not going to be an expensive one. But am sure I will come back with a sense of fulfilment that even if I die at the nozzle of the rifle a day after I will go to my creator with a big grin. I hope you get.
