While growing up, we were made to believe that, saying a casket is beautiful is a taboo. Reason being that, naturally, consciously or unconsciously, we humans are attracted to what we believe is beautiful. So, for this reason, I refuse to say that this casket is beautiful! Lol......... May her soul rest in peace! |
This man's name always remind me of that award-winning movie of all time...... "Coming to America" Eddie Murphy is undoubtedly a good actor! 10th child Chai!!! Anyway, na dem dey rush him! Dem no dey use eyes see superstar, dem go just dey rush am! |
Stallion93:When they die, they'll be buried in Nigeria. Nigeria be their cemetery..... Yeye people! |
milemimi93:You're welcome dear! We have so many families who don't joke with their families' dignity and good name There are many FILs who won't collect anything from their SILs, and even if they will collect, they'll make sure they've given you gifts that is ×10 more than what you want to give them. Some MILs will make sure their visits are never beyond 48 hours just to avoid becoming a burden to their SILs. There are even some wive's father that won't allow you to pay for their daughter's school fees if it happens the girl got married before graduation, claiming no man should take up their responsibilities. Some FILs will not even allow the younger sisters/brothers to spend more than three days in their elder sister's matrimonial homes and even as they'd be going, not with empty hands All these measures because these families, though, not very rich but don't play with their families' dignity and good name. It now depends on man who's looking for a wife to do his home works thoroughly as regards the type of family to pick a wife from! If she's a woman you love, set your boundaries before tying the knot, if she disagree, it's left for you to continue or not! So, again, not all husbands experience this! |
No, not all husbands experience this! Not all wives from average/poor families and their relations lack dignity and self-respect! |

After reading through the comments here, I'm afraid to say that, Nigerians deserve the kind of leaders they get. But,we will continue to have hope in humanity! BTW, those who condemned this man's action and their "likers" do not have any moral right to condemn our selfish, greedy and corrupt politicians! |
That's most Nigerian's mindset for you! The irony part of it all is that they'd be accusing politicians of being corrupt but many of them will do worse than the present politicians if they find themselves in that position! Mr Daniel, don't mind them, you've done the right thing, it's because of your type that we still have hope in this country! |
This is so touching and very emotional. We pray it all ends in praise for Uncle Yinka at the end of it all. It's just been so gloomy since yesterday. It will be well.
Very touching and emotional indeed! But, I believe he'll bounce back even greater! |
I listened to Yinka Ayefele himself this evening on his radio station The man clearly explained that he got all the relevant documents of the building, he even went further to explain that, in the building plan, there was "studio 1 and studio 2" . He explained every step on how they went about everything legitimately and legally. After all the explanation, he retreated that, he's not in anyway fighting with the government but those in government should please forgive him if he had offended anyone of them in any way. Lastly, he said something that made me shed tears.......he said and I quote " e jowo o, e saanu mi o, eyin ijoba, e wo ti condition pe inu irora ni no ti ko owo yi jo, I'm always in pains, erin ti mo nrin ko je ki e mo pe ojojumo ni mo nlo pain relievers, ebe ni mo be o". Meaning, "please, have mercy on me, all of you in government, please, consider my condition, I'm always in pains, that I always laugh do not let you know that I take pain relief drugs everyday, please, na beg I dey beg o" I really wish Yinka Ayefele will bounce back even greater, by the grace of God and haters shall be put to perpetual shame! |
Ajimobi really shot himself and his party on this! |
4601CE:Smh....... You these present day youths sha....... Wisdom is profitable to direct! |
Ile Oba to jo, ewa lo bu si! Such will be Yinka Ayefele's portion! |
julitoch:Do you actually understand what you're praying for ![]() Why don't you pray for your own blessings instead of tapping into another person's blessings without knowing the real source of what you're praying for ![]() Just an advice though! |
Obviously, the demolition was politically motivated! However, the fans shouldn't cause more harm to Yinka Ayefele. Let him go to court and sue Oyo state government since he has all his documents intact! |
iListen:you dey mind the writer ![]() For a story to be "sweet" , they must add Maggi, sugar, salt, |
The OP is trolling! |
You just spoiled my night with this horrible story. Chai! this life is weird. The most painful part is the mother's unwillingness to fight for Justice! |
How are you sure your GF was actually telling you the whole truth about her parent? How are you sure your GF wasn't telling you all those sob stories about her parent in order to exhort more cash from you! Anyway, I guess you were still contemplating whether to send the message or not. My advice is ......DO NOT SEND IT! And in case you have actually sent it, I guess you've already concluded that, you can never have him as your FIL and he also can never have you as his SIL. May God help you all! |
Sharpshooota:No one has monopoly to zombiism. If you're not a zombie to PDP flagbearers, you're definitely one to his APC counterparts. Let's stop glorifying any Nigeria politician, they're all the same, they only have their own personal and immediate family members interest at heart, not for Nigerians. And unfortunately we Nigerians are making this very easy for them. It's high time we wake up from our sleep and jointly see these politicians as our common enemies. #We built this place called Nigeria # |
I saw this piece and I decided to share because this writeup aptly describe our Nigeria society. May God bless the writer and we the readers. Nigeria and Nigerians need healing and cleansing! |
WE BUILT THIS PLACE by Ademola H. Adigun A lecturer wanting 5 rounds to pass a female student. A policeman demanding 500k for bail. A judge demanding 5m for judgement. A public servant demanding 50m for a contract. A voter demanding 5k for his/her vote. A clergy demanding 5-500k for “blessings”. A leader(s) close their eyes to corruption and nepotism. A parent offering 50k for ward’s admission into school or paying for exam questions. A society rewarding incompetence. A society closing its mind to murder. A society shutting down common sense. A society designed to allow the worst to emerge to the top, in many respects. A society that justifies all things in the name of politics, tribe, ethnicity and individual benefit. A society that blackmail others for difference in thinking. A Nation that we have all collectively built. One working towards oppressing the other. Where impunity is rife. Where our default thinking is on wailing or hailing never a consideration of the issue. *A society with low or no expectations from their leaders. A society in conflict with itself. *A society where thought is absent. That all issues are swept under the carpet depending on who holds the broom and where all things can be covered depending on where the umbrella tilts. A society where seemingly educated men run away from speaking out in the face of evil so that they will be seen as saints or erring on the side of his ethnic descent, religious or political leaning or simply bandwagon effect without minding the consequence however grave. For some, they had voted for their early or untimely grave, for some they had voted for the extinction of their family and for some ethnic cleansing is staring them in the face with tolls of death on a daily basis! A society where evil doers are glorified by men who pretend to be gentlemen. A society where men have no regards to the legacy they will leave behind. *A society where money is preferred to wisdom!!! *We built this place! Copied# |
I love both countries but I wish Croatia wins to spite that proud Nikola Kalinic guy. |
ForgiveMeSister:I'm not crucifying you even though, you deserve to be crucified but this is not the answer to the question I asked up there. Would you have confessed that you fingered her(dirtied her) while sleeping if she didn't catch you What was on your mind before starting the dirty behaviour, didn't you wish she didn't wake up till you're through with whatever length you've decided to go in dirtying her . Why are you now feeling as if the act wasn't premeditated Why didn't you think about all these you wrote up there before you went ahead with that dirty act![]() Sorry, you've lost her trust and respect, however, I sincerely wish she forgives you but it's only a fool that will forget such scenario. |
Be sincere please, would you have been this remorseful if you weren't caught by her ![]() |
HITTED:SAVAGE! |
lalasticlala:Now I believe! Congratulations Mr lalasticlala, the very one and only hardworking, honourable and unbiased nairaland moderator. God bless your new home and everything that concerns you! |
MrHandsome2013:God bless you and your family too! Hhhmmmmmmm May God help us all! Many people think that parental care is limited to feeding and sending your kids to schools, it's very much more than that. May God grant us the wisdom to know what real being parents actually is. |
MrHandsome2013:This is serious! I'm so sorry for whatever they might have put you through, please, do forgive them. And please, for the sake of us who are already parents, can you please shed more light on what they did wrong so that we can learn from it. There are some things we might think it's right which the kids may have contrary opinion on, and we'll just continue with it ignorantly. Sometimes, parents might think they're showing love or protecting their children which may not go down well with the kids, hence, becoming rebellious! For you to have these reservations against your parents, it must be a seriously serious something. @op, I completely agree with you. May God help us all. |
stupidity at its peak! |
Chai!!! Anyway, na dem dey rush him! Dem no dey use eyes see superstar, dem go just dey rush am!
