I also support that they should be named and shamed to serve as a deterrent to others who might wish to loot. |
I don't know why some people just chose not to be law-abiding. Trafficking hard drugs is illegal and should be seen as such. |
sinistermind:You dey mind him ![]() |
@op, you're already cheating on your wife. Imagine if it's your wife that is doing what you're doing, how will you feel. Do unto others what you want to be done to you. |
lalasticlala, people's opinion is needed on this? |
mikolo80:Which facts are you talking about again? Can't you yourself see the state of the nation? |
But how a person will wish another person dead is beyond me. Hian................na you people created the life ![]() |
aresa:I'm a Yoruba o, but for the sake of peace and Nigeria, it's not patriotic to talk/type like this. Where is the love ![]() @ Dangote, ride on and thank you for being visionary. |
I have said this before, and I will say it again. The issue of NDA is like a child who want to get at his parents and decided to break his leg and hand, though, the parents would be unrest, but the child too will suffer from the pain. I want to appeal that the avenged take it easy with the bombings, because all of us are going to suffer for it to. I also appealed to the FG to also dialogue with them for the benefit of all of is in the country. |
Better! |
todaynewsreview:These are real technocrats, not those that were compensated for being loyal to their party. |
omoyemirally:And if someone says Nigeria is a zoo now, you will tag them IPod, if Nigeria is not a zoo, how can a Nigerian kill another Nigerian because of religious differences and all the presidency can imply is that its because the perpetrators' religion was not respected. Hian......very annoying. |
Actually, from the statement, it was implied as "cause and effect". I'm however not surprised, remember, the President himself is a northern Muslim, so he probably shares the same sentiment with the perpetrators. Anyway.........the deed has been done, we just need to learn from it. |
Happy for them! Happy for their parents! But, honestly, their parents must be well to do before they could be able to train them simultaneously like this. And then, had it been they're in Nigeria, only God knows if all of them can make it this far. Too much risks in this country........ From bad governance to boko haram to Fulani herdsmen to bad road leading to uncountable deaths to stray bullets from frustrated policemen to Plane crashes to the village Africa magic (witches and wizards) Too many risks here that would have prevented the from them all growing up together like this. I pray you'll continually be protected. |
Beremx:My sister, there is no time people don't pray. We also prayed during Jonathan regime. Let's not put sentiment into everything. However, things were not this hard when Jonathan was in power and don't forget that, naturally, we human tends to pray more when facing difficulties or a sort of hardship. God bless Nigeria. |
Op, you're right! Nigeria needs prayer, a lot of it. However, not only prayers, but actions too. Prayers without actions is mere exercise. Let's all as individuals carry out our civic responsibilities accordingly. Let's all be loyal and patriotic to our dear country. Let our leaders know themselves as leaders and carry out the duties they're elected into office for accordingly. Let's all stop corrupt practices. Let's all know our rights and claim them. We have the right as citizens to ask our leaders question as to their stewardship. Let love, agape love reign among us, seeing ourselves as an entity and acting accordingly. Let's put aside prejudice and sentiments. Prayers alone is not enough, we need actions too. It is well with Nigeria and Nigerians. |
op, honestly, I respect these people. They are people with brains, real working brains. In fact, many of the ideas and economic policies employed by the present administration is from them, especially NOI and Akinwunmi Adesina, but unfortunately, because of political sentiments, they wouldn't be recognized and appreciated. |
The countenance on the face of these elders is not enviable at all. |
What could PYO be telling these agbalagbas that made them to open mouth yakata like this..........I hope it's not about PMB o. Lol........ |
With the current economic hardship, anyone who can afford to go abroad for greener pasture should even be encouraged. Even me self want to leave. If not because of my husband and my children, I would have ran abroad. But I don't want to put my husband and children into unnecessary headache, and since all of us cannot afford to leave together once now, it's better we endure the country together. E go better. So, I no blame those going abroad o. |
Just thinking aloud o! Assuming it's a Christian that killed a Muslim like this because of religious differences, is this how Kano as a state, Kano governor and the President will be calmed about it. Honestly, this is barbaric! |
@op, this same question is what I've been asking concerning Boko haram. Some mischievous politicians seems to be playing some mischievous games we are yet to understand. |
stevebond007:Be sincere, if you're the one, would you have rejected the offer? Who no like power. Let's be realistic, we're all human. |
stevebond007:Nobody is totally good and nobody is totally bad. Everyone has his/her own weakness. GEJ's weakness is that he's too soft and the people he surrounded himself with while in power took that for granted. |
Hate him or like him! GEJ is a person to be reckoned with! |
The way this humble man is giving some people nightmares is out of this world. Imagine,......when he was away, it was reported that he went on exile, he came back on Wednesday night and on Thursday morning, he jetted out to Abuja, he was accused of running away from home to escape EFCC arrest. He held a meeting with PMB on that same day, and it was reported that the meeting ended amicably. Now, he's in London, they will soon come up with their own mischievous reasons why he left for London. Mind you, you lots are just giving yourselves unnecessary headache, GEJ and PMB are friends. |
Hope some gullible ones will not say he has gone on exile again! |
The man keep looking fresh! Fresher than when he was in power. An indication that being in power is not beans. I just like this man's humility and good heart. |
Just thinking aloud o! Assuming it's a Christian that killed a Muslim like this because of religious differences, is this how Kano as a state, Kano governor and the President will be calmed about it. Honestly, this is barbaric! |
mekaboy:Nigeria is just like animal farm...........I can understand your emotional status now, but believe me, you're just ranting, nothing will be done to those perpetrators. You yourself have said it all, even the President encouraged violence and blood shedding when he lost elections. God will help us. |
mekaboy:First Lady ![]() Please, I'm not an Easterner, but let me borrow the words of Nnamidi KANU...............this country is a zoo. |
@op, the leaders of those counties you mentioned know what leadership entails, they know they are there to serve and protect the citizens, but our own leaders here do not even know who a leader is, not to talk of what leadership entails. They are just power hungry, they just want to be addressed as "His Excellency". They don't even care about those who they are leading. And you asked what gave the perpetrators the confidence...................perhaps, you've forgotten that they know that their governor shares the same sentiments with them. Abeg, I'm far from being a tribalist o, but honestly, living with Northerners is becoming scary. We don't have anything in common. |
