JonTal:
Good job, @op. I would add that every young couple and intending couple should take the time to study temperaments. This will help in understanding the person you married/plan to marry and also foster tolerance among you. To this end, my pick for a few books to read will be, The Spirit Controlled Temperament, by Tim LaHaye and Why You Act The Way You Do, which I am not sure of the author now.
1. Why you act the way you do.
2. Spirit controlled temperaments.
3. Opposite attracts.

They are all written by Tim Lahaye.

The books were recommended to us by our marriage counselor when we were dating. And they're all inspired by God. They are wonderful piece. I also support that every intending couples should read these books, it goes a long way in knowing oneself and the intending partner better. You both know each other's strengths and weaknesses when it comes to temperaments. It also assist in strengthening each other's weaknesses.

They could be found on Amazon. com
and other Christian bookshops.

Peace!
FamilyRe: What To Do If You Are Married To A Phlegmatic Husband Or Wife. by greatgod2012(f): 8:40am On Jun 09, 2016
op, thanks for this.

I am married to a phlegmatic and I'm so enjoying the peace breezing out of him and our relationship. My husband is 60% phlegmatic and 40% melancholy. One major thing about phlegmatic person is that they treasure peace and peaceful coexistence so much, and they can only enjoy their relationship with a peaceful person. A troublesome person is a no-no for them.

I am 60% melancholy and 40% sanguine.

With that combination, we are perfect match........ since we've both decided to work on our weaknesses.

Over 10 years and just starting!
PoliticsRe: Diesel, Kerosene Prices Skyrocket Nationwide by greatgod2012(f): 8:06am On Jun 09, 2016
The price of every product has skyrocketed.

The most unfortunate part of it all is that those politicians can't really feel what the average Nigeria masses are feeling. They have the money already.

FamilyRe: When You Get An Invitation To A Divorce Ceremony. by greatgod2012(f): 10:05pm On Jun 06, 2016
Lol........

Very funny!

op, most marriages that ends with divorce are usually embittered. It is out of that bitterness that makes one to prefer walking away or the two agreeing to go their separate ways.

Many people who got divorced do not really wish they're divorcée, they probably can't take it again, they've been probably pushed to the wall, hence, their resort to separation/divorce.

90% of divorcee are not happy being divorced, but they take consolation in "being divorced is better than being dead", hence, their choice.

Now, that being said, if the measures you put up there are to be adopted, first remember that no one actually loves to celebrate failure, unhappiness, unfulfillment. No one will want people to know that he/she has failed in that area, no one will want to spend money on what do not make them happy.

However, as you have opined, if the govt should make such laws as you have recommended, it may truly bring sanity to the marital institution, but not totally, because some people after being totally fed up with the marriage, will instead kill himself, or the spouse or both than celebrating divorce.

In a nutshell, if govt should put up these measures, there will be so many horrible stories of spouses killing themselves.

My own suggestion............ if your marriage is or has become life-threatening, simply walk out before it is too late. It is only when one is alive that such can remain married.
May God help us.

In kano state commercial motorcycling has been banned. What the governor has done is to provide means of transportation to enable the extension workers transport themselves to remote villages in kano state so as to make their work more efficient. Extension workers are not farmers, their job is to teach rural farmers modern and improved methods of farming, kano state has 44 local government areas, with remote villages and a very large land mass, I think this is actually commendable.
Thanks for your explanations. Unlike some who resorted to insults when stating their own opinion.

Why did you dignify him with a response? His type is best ignored.
I don't know why he couldn't state his opinion without being insulting.
I really don't know what his fuss is all about, maybe my level of exposure or because I'm always on the first page or because I'm not on the same page with him politically.
And he's supposed to be a man o.

PMB asked GEJ to help him talk to the elders in Niger Delta region.

What did he do as an elder statesman when he was asked to help talk to those in the that region, did he not decline?

E je ka ma se daada.

But I know GEJ, because of his good heart, he will accept.

That's my man. They said he was corrupt, yet under his "corrupt" govt we could by a "mudu" of beans and rice for N250 and N300 respectively. Petrol sold for N87/litre. Nigerians were not "over killed" with electricity tarrif. Dollar was sold for less than N200 and readily obtainable. Nigeria was rated as number in Africa by World Bank, IMF and other rating agencies in terms of economic outlook. Today, under a propagandist, lying, deceitful, incompetent, analogous, primitive, egocentric, archaic, vindictive, excuse-drunk, arragee, divisive, sectional, insensitive, elitist, double-sided and buharish govt, petrol is sold at N145/litre, Naira has plunged to N350/ dollar(yet unavailable), beans and rice are sold at N450 and N500 respectively. Under a "corruption- free and saintly govt of Buhari, jobs are lost on daily basis. The economy is sliding toward recession. "Trillions off loots were recovered yet Nigerians are poorer and hungrier than ever! What an irony! What a twist of fate! What a negative change!. Jona my friend, may your days be long in happiness and peace. Those who don't want your peaceful retirement would continue to have ear pains.

Unfortunately, it's those rich people that usually price things annoyingly from those poor traders.

They wouldn't mind buying same thing in shoprite at times ten of the price charged by a poor seller.

Are you having it better now?

I support buhari but not his team, its obvious he wanted to please the party with his current team.

I expect him to overhaul within the 2nd year other wise, truth be told, we have more politicians than technocrats in his current team.
Tribalism is one of our major problems in this country. Just look at how some posters have tribalise the whole thing. Being politically sentimental can not do us any good as a country. These people are technocrats, not politicians, we need them now more than ever.

I don't see PDP coming back, especially now that they can't put their house in order.

And APC has greatly disappointed Nigerians, if urgent measures are not taken, I'm afraid.

Let parties like Kowa, ANPP and other political parties that are not popular start intensive campaign now, I will not be much surprised if One of these uncommon parties wins coming election.
PoliticsRe: APC Will Apologise To Nigerians, PDP In 2019 — Onuesoke by greatgod2012(f): 7:48am On Jun 05, 2016
Is it the present PDP that is already divided and confused that we're talking about or another one.

To me, if they don't come back together and re-strategize, there's nothing for them.

And, besides, PDP and APC are almost the same.

2019 is not far again, we shall see.
