The first name on my passport is different from the one mentioned in my birth certificate. I attached a high court affidavit during my application and I didn’t have any problem with my visa.

For tourist visa application, you don’t need to legalize any of those mentioned documents.
For residency purpose, an authenticated PCC willow likely be needed.
You don’t need a Brazilian tourist company.

As a freelancer, you’re not expected to have a work/leave letter. But it will be to your advantage if you have a registered company or you can show some proof of employment.

Yes you can apply for the visa from Country A and still fly from Country B.
Don’t purchase a flight ticket, unless it’s a refundable one.
You can show a flight itinerary from ‘African Country’ and when you get your visa approved, book the ticket you really want to use from your preferred departure point..

Please, can one apply for Brazilian transit visa via their embassy in another African country but fly through Lagos( Qatar airlines)? Do I submit a CONFIRMED ticket or just a flight itinery/ flight booking stating my route as Lagos to Sao Paulo even when I have residence permit of that African country or I state the route as 'African country to Sao Paulo' and change it later ( if flight itinery is accepted)?

Note: I plan to continue my journey with LATAM to another South American country nearby with a residence visa from Brazilian airport, reason why I don't want any delay with any airline ie taking risk with time because I might have already booked with LATAM when applying for the Brazilian transit visa to show that my stay at the Brazilian airport/ ground is only temporary.

Uk standard visitor visa comes as multiple entry.
Uk does not require travel insurance nor travel booking.
If you are going to write an exam and CURRENTLY unemployed and yet showing funds- then there must be evidence and documentary proofs about how every 1 kobo was accrued. This still does not guarantee the visa.
Also you are not the one to say you are definitely coming back, your circumstances and the evidence you provide should be able to determine on a balance of probabilities that you may come back. The ECO will decide after that.

- Nobody can predict the outcome. Why don't you start the application and ask for help if you need it? No two applications are the same and so it is difficult to predict the outcome of a visa application. I would always advise that you try your luck cos it is only when you try that you can succeed.
