Glimpsetv: A transgender woman has taken to social media to call out the Donald Trump administration for changing her gender to male on her new passport.
According to her, all her official documents had already been updated to reflect her female identity, and she had also undergone full surgical transition. She shared an image of her new passport, which displayed her name, Perysian Zaya Mehki, but listed her sex as "M" (Male), despite the photo showing her as a woman.
Reading from the email she received regarding the change, she quoted: “The sex was corrected on your passport application. The changes were made for one of the following reasons to match our records.”
She went on to explain that she had a passport as a child, which listed her gender as male. Based on this, she claimed that if a person previously had a passport reflecting a particular sex, the government would revert to that sex regardless of any legal or medical transitions made later.
Frustrated by the situation, she announced her intention to take legal action against the government. She also shared her email, inviting legal experts who could assist her in challenging the decision.
Stating that she is now a fully transitioned adult with no male characteristics, she expressed deep concern over the dangers this incorrect gender marker could pose while traveling. She alleged that the administration was deliberately targeting transgender individuals, attempting to intimidate them and push them out of public life.

This was disclosed in a statement released on Monday, Jan. 20, by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, via his account on X (formerly Twitter).
Edafe shared a video of the suspects being interrogated and he wrote: "The boyfriend of the girl deceived one of the triplets, who is a sister to his girlfriend, and took her to meet two unknown men, where they used a machete to kill the little girl, who is 10 years old. They promised to give him ₦200,000, but even the ₦200,000, he didn’t see."
In the video, Edafe explained that the female suspect is the elder sister of 10-year-old triplets and they are in her care.
Her boyfriend, the male suspect named Precious, 20, reportedly approached the female suspect to beg for one of the triplets. The girlfriend refused to release any of her 10-year-old sisters to him, so he went behind her and took one of them.
He then handed the girl to two men who had promised to give him N200,000 if he brought them a child.
After handing the child over to them, Precious said he watched them butch£r her with a cutlass. He said he felt "pain" when he saw her get k!lled.
When the girlfriend noticed one of the triplets was missing, she raised the alarm and made it clear that her boyfriend had asked for one of the girls.
Locals found the boyfriend and pounced on him but police intervened, stopping the jungle justice being meted out on him.
Precious was arrested and his girlfriend was also detained because she failed to raise the alarm the moment he asked her for one of her sisters.
As for the two men who Precious gave the child, they are still at large.
What was supposed to be a birthday celebration with friends in Lagos, Nigeria, turned sour when the birthday girl died.
According to the Vale family in Rustenburg, North West, their daughter Primrose Happy Vale, 29, passed away on December 22 while visiting friends for the holiday season.
Her father, Orlando, stated that he heard that his daughter died from malaria in Lagos. He only got the news a week after her passing.
TRAVELLED TO NIGERIA FOR HER BIRTHDAY
“I last spoke to my daughter on 21 December and after that when I called she didn’t pick up. Even on her birthday on Christmas Day, I called and texted but there was no response.
“I couldn’t reach her until I received a call from her friend on 28 December informing me that my child had passed away,” said the father.
The deceased, who worked as a makeup artist in Cape Town, travelled to Nigeria to celebrate her birthday. She travelled with a friend her father was allegedly unaware of.
“She went there to enjoy December and was going to come back after New Year’s Day. I don’t know who she went to visit but I know it was her friends.”
The pensioner was told that he would need money in order to return his daughter’s body to South Africa.

Sobbing, Primrose’s father asked South Africans for financial assistance to repatriate the body of a his daughter.
“We are currently in the dark and desperately want to see her body. And we are heartbroken that she is gone. We went to Home Affairs and they said it would cost 50, 000 rands (4-million naira) to bring her back so we can have a burial for her.
“I’m a pensioner and cannot afford that much money and I am asking people for help.
The incident has divided social media, with South Africans questioning how her father could allow her to leave a 10 year old child and visit a foreign country without leaving behind details of her trip, her host and where she would be staying. Others are using the incident as a warning to local girls against human trafficking.

Primrose’s death started trending on social media a few days ago when videos of her and her alleged Nigerian host were circulated. In the videos she is seen dining with the man on a luxury boat.

Later a video of her in what looked like a hospital bed with a drip attached to her hand emerged. She looked really unwell.
