You still belong here...you can't give up...think of that your innocent son who already sees the pain you feel. All will be well

There's this saying - "who no go no know"
ExAngel007: "The only crime I committed was trusting a man" - Nigerian woman narrates how her husband travelled to Lagos 3 weeks after their wedding and never returned
A Nigerian woman, Chinenye Anyanwu, has narrated how her newly wed bliss was cut short when her husband vanished into thin air three weeks after their court wedding in 2019.
Chinenye, who shared her story in a Facebook post on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, said that her runaway husband, who is suspected to be a scammer, made away with everything he could lay hands on.
According to her, Olumide left for Lagos on what was supposed to be a one week trip but never returned till date.
She said two weeks into the trip, she informed Olumide that she was pregnant but he wasn't thrilled about the idea of being a father.
Unknown to her, she was in for more shock. In what she described as the “biggest scam in history,” she said it turned out that Olumide's ‘family members who came to the wedding weren't real."
She alleged that they were either ‘hired, tricked to attend or play roles at the wedding.’
Not just Nigerians they hate, just that Nigerians are top of the list. They blame and hate all Africans for their woes as if they're the only ones in africe with issues. I don't bother engaging them few hateful imps on nl.
Zooposki: These people hate you o. I was shocked when I visited some of their social media. They don’t mind killing uou if you are a Nigerian. Please don’t mislead other Nigerians.
You dey mind the were and him family of weres on nl?
Then they pick names that can never apply to them as their numerous I.ds...names like favour, mercy, truth, etc then they'll end it with God bless Nigeria...as if they're deliberately mocking God.
Mindlog: His support for Endsars, stopped Buhari from dealing decisively with those bandits and terrorists who have been using kidnapping as their steady source of income?
These saboteurs, the owners of the depots and outlets are not ordinary Nigerians.
They're the real problems
They have the connections to stall any penalties.
It'll take more than empty threats like you said.
Namaster: Threats are NOT enough. Nigerians do NOT respond to threat.
An IMMEDIATE closure and payment of EXORBITANT fines should be the penalty for hoarding fuel and creating ARTIFICIAL scarcity to inflate prices.
Filling stations are one of the most EVIL institutions in Nigeria. At the mere rumour of a potential increase in petrol price, they'd immediately SHUT DOWN to exacerbate the issue.
But when the price drops, it takes them FOREVER to make adjustments.
Criminals like these DON'T deserve warning but IMMEDIATE punishment.
Reminds me some many years ago, I hit a car on Lagos-Benin express...I pleaded to fix his car for him but he refused and insisted on taking it to the dealer for repais which cost me 10× more. I pleaded to use my mechanic to no avail. Finally sqieezed to pay for it as he wanted... things were really ruff then.
4-5 years after, he called frantically asking forgiveness and the need to refund my money. Was too angry to even pick his call.
He reached out to people he knew could twist my arms....though I didn't accept the money, told him to use it for any act of charity on my behalf.
Funny enuf, was pained at first when it happened, life then overtook the event...didn't know how pained/angry I was till the call to refund...knowing how I pleaded and the extent I went to pay for the damage back then... Later found it soothing to just let go though.
Life is easier.
Bottom line you can forgive and move on.
Let your sister deal in her own way but be there for her to encourage her to let go...no judgement.
It's harder for her because as the eldest, she was really let down more than you could imagine especially when your mother was passing.
It couldn't have been easy for your sister so give her time.
Sonnobax15: Good day Nairalanders.....Hope everyone of you here is fine and doing just great?
Well, there's a situation my siblings and I have found ourselves in presently.......It's been 19 years since we lost our mom and those years were really hectic years for us,due to the circumstances surrounding her death because she was murdered................But somehow, God came to our rescue and we've all grown now
Before my mom's death, she had a sister who was her only blood sister, tho they had other step siblings...... Honestly,as I kid,I remembered how many times my mom tried to resolve the dispute between she and her only blood sister but all were to no avail.....She(my aunt) was hell-bent on the fact that she'd rather die than to settle things up with my mom.......Even in her death bed,i remember how my elder sister went to inform my aunt about our mom's situation and everything that led to what happened to her,but she gave deaf ears and even chased my sister away.....
I was only a little boy then, but I remembered every single thing that transpired then ..
Now here's the problem.........My aunt has been on our necks, begging us to forgive her......There was a time we were invited to our maternal home for a family meeting, and my aunt happened to be around.....She knelt and was weeping and begging us to forgive her....... Personally, I'm a soft-hearted person and I've toured my heart to see if I could forgive her and I think I'm about to let bygones be bygones.......But my other siblings especially my elder sister has sworn never to forgive her . Tho I've tried to talk to my sister but she has vehemently refused never to forgive her .....My other uncles have summoned another meeting but my sister has vowed to ignore their calls.......
Should my sister be blamed for finding it hard to find a place in her heart to forgive my Aunt, considering the fact that she's a Christian?
Or make everybody just mind him business just like we've been doing over the years?
The matter just tire me I swear but it's all good tho..
I was about to ask the question: what does the aunty want or need from them?
Why the sudden urgency in being forgiven?
People only seek forgiveness like this when there's something eating them up.
pocohantas: You can't hate the mother and love the seed. There is really no way she likes you guys or is remorseful. Tinubu's regime is triggering a lot of fake repentance. Don't fall for it.
That said, what is the genesis of their fight? There has to be a backstory.
An arsonist set himself on fire after breaking into a barber's shop, pouring petrol all over, and setting the place ablaze, CCTV footage released by Australian police shows.
The footage, taken just before midnight on July 6, shows two individuals pulling up to the Gold Blade barber shop in Gungahlin, Canberra, on pushbikes.
One of the men uses a hammer to smash through the glass front door, allowing their accomplice to climb into the shop, armed with a red jerry can.
The individual douses the shop with an accelerant, using a lighter to set fire to it.
Flames engulf the store, and the arsonist is set on fire, forcing him to make a quick exit. The CCTV footage shows the man diving through the smashed front door and onto the pavement, rolling over several times in an attempt to put out the flames. Once he does, the pair flee, leaving the shop to burn.
Police have struggled to identify the two individuals, who were wearing motorcycle helmets to cover their faces.
Community police are appealing for help in locating them and have urged anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
Watch how their foot soldiers would come and defend it, calling it fake news because of the crumbs they pick from under their masters' tables.
Kelklein: Nigerian government is operated like a Secret Cult .. everybody just works in tandem to protect the secrecy..
For our eyes koorokoro people received SUVs worth 160m each as at last year, it's more than that now and here they are, telling us it's 8m vehicle loan allowance.. it's alright o
The Chairman said, indicting himself "..RMAFC does not have constitutional powers to enforce compliance with proper implementation of the Remuneration package." 🤔
What he listed above are what they are supposed to receive normally, but even a child knows that is not what they receive. They bully anybody in government that dares challenge their self-decided take home pay. Very legal legislooterz.
It is just so easy to see where the problems of the country stem from. We live, sleep and wake up with the problems on a daily basis..
All I know is this madness won't go on for too long..
I don't blame any country treating us the way they do... That's what happens when your government misplaces priorities and loots instead of building.
So-called Professors and legal luminaries rig elections for corrupt illiterates/criminals, so as to get appointments from said illiterates.
A nation blessed with everything except "GOOD LEADERS"

naptu2: This video went viral in Nigeria during the End Bad Governance Protests. It showed some people eating and drinking. They were speaking in Igbo Language and they said that they were not joining the protest and this (eating and drinking) was their own form of protest.
The video also went viral in South Africa days later. Some South Africans claimed that the video showed Nigerians in South Africa talking about the Miss SA contest and saying that they would protest if Chidimma Adetshina did not win the pageant.
Many are mad but few are roaming so don't be suprised.
The way dem carry igbo/yoruba battle for head makes you wonder.
Meanwhile the politicians they're fighting for have spouses and Inlaws from all parts of Nigeria.
Only miserable foot/online soldiers are enemies of their own shadows.

MemoriesAndMe: At the boldened, where is the tribalism coming from? Was it mentioned anywhere that the tenant or the landlord were igbos? Both of them could have been from anywhere in Nigeria, why make tribalistic comments on matters you have little knowledge of?
