What of if maybe people voices and opinions count more in the Western world while here in Nigeria you did be wasting your time speaking against things like this or government. Over there everything humanly possible is done to prevent any form of uprising or unrest but in Nigeria you can go to hell. Speak against the government and you just signed your death sentence. I disagree. No one would kill her if she decides to speak up for nigeria. Nigeria is her constituency. No foreign artist would do that for her. Even if the system refuses to listen to her now. It would eventually. Change is not a days job. Our desired change must start with us. Before others key into it.

She is a selective activist. That's the problem.

No problem with what she said. But she refuse to speak up when people get killed randomly by the law enforcement agents in nigeria. That's a big problem. Most nigerian artist are like that. They turn activist when issues pop in far away America. And turn mute when it concerns their home country nigeria.

Age falsification is a common thing in the public service. I am not surprised at all. Would the current govt do anything about it? I don't think so.

3months this is sad. We really should not blame anyone at this point cause this is just one side of the story. Even with the evidence i'll rather not take sides. 1. Seek spiritual help, your wife is a total stranger. Find out who she is and what her mission is.

2. Do a DNA test for your daughter. Just to be sure she is yours.

3. Inform your parent and your lawyer about the issue.

4. Write your will. It might sound funny but you really should.

5. Find a way to copy the files on her phone. Duplicate it.

6. Call her parent and your parent for a family meeting. Play the files for them.

7. Tell them your decision.

I pray your final decision would be the one that would preserve your life.

Now, Academic masters is very helpful when u re considering or would love to be a lecturer or a prof in an academic environment(universities or any research institution) on the other hand, professional masters (eg MBA) is the one that is most demanding and attractive to employers, in organizations, banks, oil companies, MDA's etc. any organization that has nothing to do with academics.

Now the point I really want to hit is that, u can rise to the highest point of ur career in an academic environment with an academic masters, but u can not with a professional masters, vis-a vis. and yes, u can have a professional masters and still have ur Ph D and even go as far as being a prof.

You don't have to insult people to get your point across. Just drop your opinion and bounce along. I am sticking to my opinion. And that is the nigerian reality.

...as big and populated as Nigeria, Uniport and one useless university in the Northern Nigeria are the only universities offering executive PhD. Where there is no job,people have limited choices. When I study,I do it cos I want to- not that I want anything from my useless country.

Many foreign universities' professional masters lead to PhD and executive PHD like City University UK, Edinburgh Napier University, Aston University, University of Liverpool etc. These are all top global university with AACSB accreditation.

We have very few universities doing that in nigeria. Doing pro masters is a serious risk. not everyone wants to go to UNIPORT. I'll take academic masters over pro masters any day. Noting is guaranteed in nigeria. Even with all d certification u might not get a job.

the up keep of the home in an African family is the responsibility of the wife. it is not totally out of place to help one's wife with chores. It is not a must or something u negotiate. It has to come from his heart. Helping in marriage is an avenue to appreciate one's wife.

Don't expect him to do chores when u have family members or visitors around. Don't go around asking your husband why he refused to wash the dishes today. He would never help u again.
