I weep for Nigeria. This is the same level of mediocrity that has eaten up the fabric of our democracy, where higher offices are occupied by illiterates, because they know someone who can teleport them up there within the blink of an eye. The same set of people are gallivanting around and talking carelessly to fellow Nigerians at our embassies in the United States, and you will not by wonder how these glorified househelps found their way into an embassy like ours, to represent us in the presence of America. I visited one of the embassies recently, the one in Atlanta to be specific. First of, it was a Filipino lady that was attending to visa applicants and passport renewal applicants. Second of all, the whole place was disorganized and building itself looks like an abandoned mini townhall. Third of all, omg! a place that we call the Nigerian embassy does not even have air condition to cool down sweating Nigerians, who travelled down from all part of the US, some spending 14hours on the road driving from Texas and so on, instead, the doors were flung open to allow for fresh air circulation. Lastly what annoys me the most is the way the illiterate workers with their common entrance certificate, talk to fellow Nigerians as though they are superior and we do not pledge allegiance to the country. This really got to me that I was so ashamed of myself, because I went there with my fiancee who is a Sudanese American. I took it as a man, smiled at my fiancee, and then she smiled back and said "I know you are a die hard patriotic Nigerian and despite all these mess, you won't let anyone talk your country down, not even me". Now I have some questions. Do these illiterates undergo any form of training or customer service orientation that made them fit for these jobs? How much will it cost Nigeria as a wealthy country to renovate the eyesaw called the Nigerian embassy? No matter the establishment, there is always one or two unarmed security personell(s) around to make sure there is order within the office environment what happens if an angry applicant slaps someone, due to the unnecessary delays and the way he is being carelessly addressed? They will dial 911 I guess. Well, I guess I should just stop here, there are many more to talk about. I took some photographs which i will be posting on a new thread  soon so you all can see what am talking about. Thank you all for reading.

How can one compare the two, Medicine deals with human lives, you cannot practice as a doctor doing try and error. However, in IT you can learn from mistakes and then go back to correct the mistakes you made, it will only cost you time and maybe money, but any mistake made by a qualified, endorsed and experienced medical doctor will result to the loss of a human life, which cannot be replaced. In conclusion, the both are hard and easy in different ways, but you will never know which obstacle course is the most challenging if you haven't passed through it.

Well this is not in anyway funny to me. I think i agree to wat Goldcircle said. Dear poster, i have been a victim of this kind of situation, and i tell it to you that till today i regret how i went about the issue. to cut the long story short, i went to guiness, and as if i was under some kinda spell wewn i got into that office, i tendered the bottle of multina and then all i got in compensation are biros and caps. Please go to the lab, invite your lawyer, video cover the content of the bottle, take photographs of it. Do all this for the sake of having an evidence and then go there with you lawyer for a good compensation. if not, forget the stuff, because they are gonna collect it, telling you they wanna go examine it and before u know it, its been thrown into the funance. If you go about this well, you will be on your way to getting millions for compensation. Goodluck with that.

Thanks for you responce, but i have gone to the clinic,and they keep telling me that the virus can be fought only by the body's immune system within two years, so therefore there is no known cure for the virus causing the warts as it may come back after the treatment. I know there are potent herbal medications that would cure and kill the virus, just need to meet the right person.

All this kind of diseases dont exit in the African expecially in my home land Nigeria. Sincerely speaking, there is no place like home! This new virus has been proven to be contracted through skin to skin contact. The use of condoms here is really out of place. May God help us in the White man's land.

I have been following this tread from the begining, and its so amazing that IBB and Ojukwu is the reason why you all are spitting all this venom. For God's sake UNITY & LOVE is what will make this country stand,and not leaders in the person of Ojukwu or IBB. Having said that, is there anything that we as a country can achieve without the intervention of the ulmighty? Please lets all stop this tribalisim stuff and think of a way to move this country forward. Metal gong, eze uche and the rest who were opposing and supporting were just speaking their mind, so lets all take it as it is and put a stop to this e-war or cyber civil war. I speak all the 3 major languages in Nigeria, but still remain an igbo man. I am only appealing to all the parties involved, NO DISRESPECT INTENDED.
