I guess you weren't irrigating your tomatoes that's why they dried up.. Remember we had extended period of harmatan into late February. It probably wasn't the soil as pepper and tomato requires the same type of soil and nutrients.Since you planted in harmatan which I'm guessing is November or December the pepper should be over 6 months by now. pepper like every other vegetable die of at some point so don't expect them to yield on and on. There is a method called successive planting. you plant new crop which will replace the once dieing off so you have ready to harvest vegetables and fruits all year round. Make a new nursery and start over you could try growing a few other plants which you fancy along with your pepper and tomatoes. The seeds being from your kitchen shouldn't play much part in the plant's general health as tomato and pepper are selfpollinating and I don't thing they can have notable hybrid vigour compared to most cross pollinating vegetables so I would not be buying from a seed dealer #HappyFarming
Thank you for responding. I was watering it and all,its just a little planting in my lawn in place of flowers. Just experimenting. So am Guessing the peppers are done with their cycle....I'll uproot them and try something different.

Still one question unanswered where do you get quality soil.?
AgricultureRe: My Successful Cucumber Sack Farm In Kaduna by greetings(f): 9:32am On Jun 02, 2016
Vanpeele, love love! You're doing good.

My first question is where do I get soil for the sacks... I mean how do I recognise the soil I need and where can I get it? Planted tomatoes during harmattan but they all died in February when it was supposed to start fruiting.... making me suspect the soil. Meanwhile, the peppers I planted at the same time are fruiting now and I have been harvesting them for home use, but I just noticed they look frail and no more fruiting. ..leaves are turning yellow and falling off. What could be the cause and how do I treat it?
The seeds were manufactured from my kitchen cheesy ,could that be the cause?

Good day my good people.
Please I need some clarifications as regards the process.
I have a M.Sc. same as my spouse and my job category falls O. Now, as regards the degree for assessments, can I on my own forward the transcript or my school has to? Also, can I forward statement of results or it has to be the certificates?
Another question is must I forward both my first & second degrees certificates for the assessment?
To your last question, forward only your highest degree.
Copy of your statement of results can fly.
Only your school/official transcript will be acknowledged, though,in most cases you will have to process it yourself.

Goodluck!

Hello
Please I want to find out between these two schools (university of manitoba and memorial university newfound land)which is better to apply for a masters programme and which of these cities is better to move with my family during my study period.
Both are actually good to live in but I would favour Manitoba over new found land, as they have graduate immigrant program. Thus, Chances of settling permanently is higher.

Too bad! The dead don't speak!

He could be telling a bit of the truth. A good forensic team and pathologist will be able to tell us if she comitted suicide, was strangled, he pushed her or she fell down by mistake or on purpose, and exactly what time she died. If not, it will be difficult to prove he actually killed her.

Even at that, naija police no go leave him like that o. Only the rich use legal process to their advantages in this country. If he gets a good lawyer, he might walk.

Too bad,the dead don't speak.

Seun look away frrom he opic and talk about the contents.

If i had used a serene title there will definiely be lesser traffic but any reasonable reader will catch the drift he momen they read it so save yourself the sress of apologizing cos its unwarranted.

Many ladies who have commented hardly read pass the title and married ladies who took time to read made reasonable comments.

one last word dude, you have known me since 2008 and if you check my titles you will see that i have a way of creating catchy titles hence im so disappointed that you are apologizing for the use of a title while keeping mum about the inherent deep message.Apparently your awareness is limited for you to say im being mean by blaming a victim and i began to wonder if you know how many men also fall victim.

intelligent people never judge a book by its cover and no dailies will sell if plain titles are used.

I care less if you take it down or lock it.
Please why is there a reason for topic or headline? To give you an insight into the content..... A summary of the body of the article.

Yes, your content may make sense but you mislead us with your title on such a sensitive issue for that matter.

In actual sense, you failed to give us our times worth in the content, because you hadn't done justice to the delicious topic you used to invite us.

Lastly, please take criticisms. It makes you a better writer.

Ps. Men and women are both potential victims, as well as perpetrators.

Seun:
I am so sorry about this topic. We have dropped it from the home page. Victim blaming is something that should never be condoned. It's not bad to say, 'here are the things you can do to protect yourself', but to say that the people who have been abused are the "main cause" is evil.
God bless you.
FamilyRe: 6 ways women can avoid domestic violence. by greetings(f): 7:45pm On May 09, 2016
Naikkie:
OP, your topic is flawed just by using the words 'main cause'. From an academic and intellectual stand point, you should not have listed your points as if they are facts, no social survey, no research backing etc. It's better written as 'your opinion'.

My take on this is that 'MUTUAL RESPECT BY BOTH PARTIES' would prevent domestic violence on either party.

Reading your back and forth arguments with people is really sad. You did not 'educate/inform' people you sounded as someone who would like to impose his views on people and get angry at suggestions/or other people's views.

To the mods, this is not front page worthy, so much generalization without notable social survey on a very depressing social issue.
My exact problem with his points, these are not facts, they are his observations. And he's arguing, I mean. Where did he get his facts from? What research? How many victims have you interviewed?

To cap it all, op even alluded in his replies that he had to coin the topic in a "catchy way". To what end? To make front page? Or to raise emotions?

Seun, please note that this is a sensitive issue, and even more important than the fx trade and betting ban. Your mods should scrutinize the content vis a vis the title before pushing it to FP.
FamilyRe: 6 ways women can avoid domestic violence. by greetings(f): 7:30pm On May 09, 2016
Domestic violence is trending and very sensitive but if op had stopped at the first and last fact, I wouldn't have a problem. Because I mean being gullible and ignoring signs of violence is your fault and even at that, it's not because she deserves it. It's because there's a defect in the character of such a man that beats up the wife.

If I agree with your other points it means we can also conclude that the woman that died on Saturday deserves it, or that titi arowolo killed by husband in lagos years too caused it, so.......? In another twist, would you say that man that was stabbed by his lawyer wife in ibadan caused it too by being gullible and complacent. I guess no, you would say he was a gentleman and she's evil. So therefore the same applies, when you beat your wife no matter what you are evil!

Domestic violence has triggers, and it evolves overtime. From emotional abuse to verbal abuse then physical abuse. The abuser almost always has a defect in character and resort to these means to inflict pain upon his or her victim.

Also, you failed to underline why your point 2 to 4 is so.. or is it not possible that the woman may have being often provoked before she starts behaving in such ways. Note there's a difference between a proper lady or woman and a "bitchy" one.

Therefore, I do not agree that these are facts..... until you carry out a "root cause analysis" or research proper.

My point of view!

It is quite expensive no doubt but look at it from the bigger picture. You were convinced and concluded with your hubby to do this for some reasons. Always have that at the back of your mind when discouragement sets in. There are other fees to pay but in the end, you will smile when the ultimate is achieved i.e PPR.
Ekpekus and dfash2000, may I know how much you eventually paid for the wes per application using you naira cards? Especially, Gtbank. Heard they charge 260 to 1 cad. Or is western union or money gram cheaper?

Anybody paid for wes recently? Please share info.

Thanks

Hello, every one, especially the gurus in the house.

I've been following for a week now and am just catching up. The resource here is worth thousands in my pocket (no agents services).

Zandora, irondome, Jesusdway and other gurus in the house. Please help answer this question.

If I choose not to evaluate hubby's credentials with wes and not claim points for it. Can I still claim points for his work experience, as far as we can get work reference?

Thanks.

Loving this pictures stories, kalusam. Keep it up.
My problem remains SOIL. Please how do you identify good soils to put in sacks? Also where is the best place to get it?

Started my own little gardening too.. I needed to transplant but not enough soil so I used saw dust mixed with cow manure as growing media.... so far so good.
Even if I buy sacks there's no soil...
Some are already dying n yellowish, coz of less space. I even planted some on pvc pipes I cut into half.

Salam alaykum warahmatullah, was online searching for some informations about home schooling and this thread pops up. Am about to home school my 2 years and 9 months old daughter, she's being in school before but the distance to her school is very far and stressful for us,hence the reason we are home schooling. Although I'll be employing a teacher that comes 1 hour a day from her former montessori school. I don't mind tips on how I can help in areas like quran and Arabic as her last school was purely Arabic based school. Any tips are welcomed please.

Pavore, I have been following you closely for sometime now. Believe me, you have made me change my mind towards allowing my brother study agric/zoology as his desired course.
However, I cannot imagine him studying in Nigeria. As I have seen enough agric graduates that cannot practice commercially. Please do you have any idea where and what in particular he might study in Africa that can make his dream into reality? Keep in mind he will be 16 years and he's only enthusiastic about nature generally( no experience ).

Thank you for inspiring me start my own mini farm, when it materialises I'll share pictures and progress.

truthman2012:
This is the story from your link:

Firstly, Abraham was said to lead them to Mecca and turned back, meaning he did not stay with them. How could he have taken part in the building of Kaaba?

Secondly, Ishmael was said to be a baby still sucking, which shows he could not know Abraham and his religion very well as a baby. His mother as an Egyptian, who came from idolatry background (Egyptians were idol worshipers at that time) must have had influence on him. Worst still is the fact that his mother married him an Egyptian girl as well. This could account for the reason Kaaba was built originally for idol worship as Ishmael did not grow with the knowledge of Abraham religion.

That being apart, the story of Abraham taking Hagar and Ishmael to Mecca could not be true. The distance between Israel and Mecca is about 1500 km. Why would Abraham walk that long distance on leg to settle baby Ishmael in Mecca? Could Hagar and her small baby walk such a distance?
Bros, when i gave you a link, you quoted 1/6 of the story here, thereby deliberatly leaving the parts that answers your questions, making it seem like they were not in the whole story, Thats really unsincere. If you really want to understand and want answer to your question read the whole story or maybe quote the story here and i maybe of help. Thank you.
