From 1999 to 2007 name the best 10 performing governors and see if OUK of Abia, and Chimaroke (not sure of the spelling) of Enugu aren't among. From 2007 to 2015, Chime was the star among governors and Okorocha tried in Imo, forget that his people hate him because of his party. His works puts Owerri among the most beautiful state capitals today.

So you see, Enugu has been fortunate until the present administration. Abia had on good turn and two consecutive catastrophes. Imo had two good turns and one horrendous administration. I don't know much about Ebonyi but judging it among states created the same year, it is miles ahead of others.


I'll repeat it, after south south, southeast has the best governors in Nigeria since 1999.

Condition of Owerri is pitiable. See the condition of our Owerri flyover, it is abandoned, non functional and has been turned to a market place. Imo state is cursed

Unnecessary hype with nothing to show. Aside thieving government officials, no other category of individuals in Owerri can make 7m in one year, because Owerri is more or less a village full of poorly paid civil servants and nothing more. Most reasonable wealthy imo indigene businessmen are based either in Lagos or Onitsha where customers are trooping in from all over Nigeria and Africa at large.

ANSG Honours Torch Bearers

The Government of Anambra State has appreciated the two students who did the State proud at the recently concluded ANCOPSS essay and quiz competition held in Bauchi.

In a brief ceremony at the Jerome Udoji Sectariat complex, the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh presented the trophies won by the students.

The students- Ezeoke Chioma of QRC Onitsha and Ekesi Maryanne of GSS Awka, won the junior quiz and senior essay categories respectively. They were accompanied to the event by some fellow students, their principals and teachers, who also got some cash rewards from the Commissioner.
