Good development there.

However, I think he needs to work on his passes. From what I saw, it's pretty obvious he has issues delivering key passes.

It's either they're taking the wrong path or they're getting delivered at the wrong time. Indecision must be replaced with precision. A significant rise in his pass success is all he needs now.

Boy is now a hardworker though, great!

iFirst bakayoko is a DM not an attacking CM or AM. All these vision and one time pass is not the prerequisite flaws we should be talking about. His ball control and passing accuracy will improve, kante did not have basic skills on the ball we are seeing it now.. I see the same improvement on bakayoko

What do you consider to be basic skills for a central midfielder?

The chances of him coming good in that area is as slim as Buhari.

Ball control, one-time pass, vision and accuracy are basic skills you learn in your formative years as a CM.

Bakayoko is no longer a kid, his flaw is now an integral part of his game. We endured watching Ramires run around aimlessly with the ball like a headless chicken for more than four years, we will survive Bakayoko.

He hardly lifts the ball pass the man in front of him. I actually lost count of how many passes he lost today.

I am glad he makes those flaws up with his work-rate and boundless energy. He is not just lazy.

This game also reminds me of the game against Valencia at the Mestalla in March/April 2007. Chelsea went 1-0 down at half time, but scored 2 goals in the second half; one of them being an injury time winner from Essien.

That low drive out-side the box is still very fresh in my mind.
