U dey mind CEO? Matic is useless. Lukaku is useless. Yet dey still reference them every week. Lol
Never has there been a time Matic was renowned for his workrate.

He is the sort of DM that sits in front of his backline to snuff our dangers. SIMPLE.

It's not an age thing.

Half-time.

Our performance isn't bad at all. We are dominating play but failing to create clear-cut chances.

I would have loved to see Pedro come in for Cesc but mehn, that midfield battle looks serious.

Certainly not a bad idea. Provides a lot of balance, bar the fact we won't look to score much.

Report has it that Emenalo has beamed his searchlight on19-year-olds Florinel Coman and Dennis Man, and the young central defender Dragoș Nedelcu, 20, and was in Romania to watch their game.

For some reasons, I don't believe in this man's abilities. Scouting shouldnt be left in the hands of a man who at some point considered Djilobdolodi and Hector Chelsea's level.

Conte didn't pick Cahill to start against Stoke City. Is that an apparent indication that the English man is being rested for tonight's clash with ATM and that of Citeh on Saturday?

I prefer your second team.....I don't fancy our chances with a midfield pairing of kante and Yoko alone. We definitely need to keep things very tight so we wont concede an early goal while hoping we can hit them on the counter.

I will take a draw from this match knowing we have manCity to deal with over the weekend.
That second team can only squeeze out a draw, not a bad result either.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Griffon: 11:18am On Sep 27, 2017
Hazard's energy level will be kept in check no doubt.

If he starts, then he is most likely to get subbed at some stage, nearly same as him starting from the bench. The real question is, what time will be right to have him on the pitch?

Cause the damage from the onset or from the bench?

I'll personally love to see him start though. This is one game we'd need to score early and try to build on that lead. Eden can take the bow later on when we'll be looking to lock up.

So I'll go with this.

Starting XI:

Courtois

Azpilicueta Luiz Rudiger

Moses Kante Bakayoko Alonso

Pedro Morata Hazard

If Winning by 60mins, we can then shore up the midfield and switch to a 3-5-2 or better still, a 3-6-1.

Courtois

Azpilicueta Luiz Rudiger

Moses Fabregas Kante Bakayoko Alonso

Willian

Morata

How many footballers have you guys actually met? Both naija stars and European etc?

Up close, took pictures with, gisted/hung out with or just been around? Na jand crew go plenty pass for sure as per unfair advantage through location....
I've been privileged to shake the hands of the almighty Uche Okechukwu and the mercurial Ben Iroha.

The latter na Aba man and was my popsi's best pal back in Eziama High School. It was through him that my palle met Uche and host of other Super Eagles 1994 squad.

They visited occasionally back then for we house, i was just quite young then, i never knew who they really were on a first-name basis.

Growing up, I have been privileged to meet couple of stars, although mostly the ones born or bred in Aba. The biggest name I've been up close to is Kanu Nwankwo and that was when I was on a trial at Heartland FC's feeders years back.

Onyekachi Apam, Chinedu Ogbuke, Ikechukwu Uche and the twin brother Kalu Uche, popularly known as 'Senegal' in Aba etc are few Aba ninjas who have gone pro i still dey relate with whenever they hit town.

Just last weekend, I was in the good company of Ogar Okpara and Obinna Nwaneri, two former captains of Enyimba. Na only brew and loot these ones can offer you, believe me.

Yeah, it was sad. I was reading something about Cele in DailyMail how he is living in one normal Joe house in UK and the house is unkempt and dilapidated. As for Okocha, I don't know where he is getting his money from, whether he is taking from Delta FA or what cheesy. His kids are all in very expensive private schools in UK, he's still driving multiple expensive cars etc, even after Societe Generale stole his $1m. Anytime I see him flexing, I say shuo, this guy is still earning well after football oh, but I can't pinpoint what is bringing him the cash abi na endorsements?
Endorsements and the political side of football.

He was elected Chairman of Delta State FA last two years, beating Hon Evans at the poll.

I doubt his tenure is over but there has been serious concerns about his administration. Many are complaining that they can't afford to have a chairman who is operating from London and who is seriously running ads for Peak Milk and other brands.

The guy is getting alerts every day.

I don't like any midfielder whose only game is to carry the ball and run. Once I watch a midfielder and I see his first move is not to trap the ball, turn and lift head for the pass, I jump and pass. I noticed exactly the same about Kessie.
The guy no just sabi protect the ball. His loose controls were much yesterday. Thank God we no consider that ninja when we dey find CM.

He makes Bakayoko look like a black Pirlo on the ball.

This Franck Yannick Kessie na confirm fraud.

I can't believe €50m was quoted for this ninja couple of months ago. I can't believe this scam was dubbed the 'next Yaya Toure' just few months back.

The entire Europe dodged a bullet here, Ac Milan were just unfortunate. Downside of reckless spending i guess.
