How some of you manages to drag a whole lot of gibberish to this board scares me at times. So one GIF now defines a player's overall play? Like one particular action analyses a player's strengths and weaknesses? Mehn this is beer parlor punditry at its best. I have seen RVP waltz past JT with relative ease, leaving our then captain for dead in an EPL game. I have also seen Ayew reduce JT to a belly dancer in an EPL game. If your beer parlor punditry is anything to go by, JT is simply a useless defender who defends stupidly innit? Over the years, I have seen many decent defs who were unfortunate to fall for a player's guile and artistry. It had never been anything new and will never be anything new. Some of those moments includes; Senderos vs Drogba, Ferdinard vs Aiyegbeni, Ashley Cole vs C Ronaldo, Every Defender vs Ronaldinho, Puyol vs Di Maria, Boateng vs Messi, Luiz vs Suarez, Ivanovic vs Montero, Smalling vs Kante, Koscielny vs Hazard, Batra vs Bale and many more and more. I am sure the almighty Baresi had his moment too. It's nothing new. I play footie almost every week and I see adjudged top defs fall for cheap tricks. Like who doesn't? So why is Rudiger getting the sticks for his? You all would be making sense if getting mopped on the turf is actually a thing Rudiger is known for but unfortunately it isn't. The nigga's weaknesses from what i've seen are delivering decent crosses and committing fouls. It's nothing near falling like a bag of cement when approached with the ball. His performances at the just concluded Confederations Cup speaks volume of the player he is. Say NO to beer parlor punditry and analyse a player's strengths and weaknesses with more than one blip. Moreover, Conte's backline is always that water-tight with enough protection guaranteed from the short devil in midfield, so why create a debate that doesn't even exist? Despite being my nigga, I still have my fears about Rudiger and it's the one fact that he is injury prone. That is an angle y'all should be concerned about. |
raumdeuter:I thought that talk has been squashed. |
Chelsea players get luxury £8k watches from Roman Abramovich for winning the league. Baba olowo doing his thing, forgetting say e get men them wey dey Nairaland. |
Diggz it's quite unfortunate that I cant contribute at the moment. I am actually in a meeting with a team of investors. We are trying to wrap up a deal for my radio station. Don't know how long this is going to take. |
...... |
Godstraight:Swahili? |
diggz:We are doing everything plausible, saying everything logical to save the image of the club. The war on twitter is like no other. Emenalo phoned me to start cooking up excuses bro, and the pay is good too. |
However, amongst all the media predictions of possible doom and gloom, perhaps another scenario is set to unfold. Perhaps with Conte set to return to Cobham today, there are two or three deals done and dusted and Conte just wanted their announcements delayed until he is available to be included in the photos ![]() |
JayKayMaybachz:Eric is a gold in the CM position, but then, there isn't any need discussing Spurs players while Levy is still Chairman. They are working toward their new ground, and are holding unto their prized assets for the time being. |
Thecassanova:It's crazy man. Like every damn post is met with hot vitriols. I pity the guy behind our Social Media handles, he must be regretting picking up those jobs when he could have applied as a gardener at Cobham. |
More vitriols, no chills at all.

Well, Belotti has a 87 mill pound release clause! Not sure our board will go for it, with the current financial prudence being exercised in recent times. I really doubt we would break our transfer record of 50m this summer, given that the club are working toward the new ground and developing the young talents at their disposal. Mosunda has been handed the number 17 Jersey, Lewis Baker and Christensen have both been recalled from their loan spells having impressed at Vitesse and Gladbach respectively. And just recently, Tammy joined Swansea (an EPL team), on loan. These are clear indications that the clubs are trying to save cost whilst also having their eyes set on the future. I could be wrong though, this is still Chelsea with a billionaire owner. |
funlord:This sorta write-up amuses me. Which of these supposed dailies and media vehicles has quoted Conte on his stance on Lukaku? You are taking inferences and speculations way too serious man. This is England we are talking about, where what sells is sensationalism. Once upon a time, I read that Conte preferred Morata to spearhead Chelsea's attack. Which do I buy now? |
PietroRico:Hazard and Lukaku on the same train of thought? Nigga are you high? |
How about this one, it's being reported in the metro that all of a sudden Diego Costa is pondering attempting a reconciliation with Antonio Don Conte. Honestly, it has been a terrible window for us. Just when you thought we have gotten rid of this devil. |
funlord:Nigga chill, nothing serious went down. |
Drienzia:This is a good move for the lad IMHO. At Leicester he'd get the rare chance to prove to everyone what he's capable of doing, just then, the big clubs would come calling. He's still young and needs to be at an average team to launch his career proper. |
bigkesh:Chelsea cooking up a deal for Belotti. What do you think? |

I am wondering if this has been leaked by Lukaku's agent, or even Everton themselves, to panic Chelsea and make them put a bid in. It could be that they know Chelsea aren't budging, that they are spending big and all of a sudden the accounts need balancing. I wouldn't want to see us move into a bidding war with the scummies, with figures banging around. With 70m, we can get a goal machine. |
David Luiz set to be named the new captain of the team. I love this one though. |

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper and captain, Vincent Enyeama, is one of 11 players who has been told they are no longer required by new Lille coach, Marcelo Bielsa, BBC Sport reports.Be like say na this one be the new cool. Call rates are damn high, so just text the nigga! |
Everton are doing serious deals, I mean serious deals. Ronald Keoman on steriods ![]() |
