raumdeuter:Conte didn't need to spend up to 150mil to win his first PL title. Kante, Luiz, Alonso and Batshuayi were all he needed to get the job done. Khaki no be leather Dayokanu. Pep na fraud. |
AC Milan drops bid for Belotti. This club is serious. |
Lurking on the news is the report that Nemanja Matic could be used as a makeweight in order to secure the signing of Sandro from Juventus. Go for it I say. |
How much has Pep spent already? |
Greatihex:Competition brings out the best in you, unless you are one who would shy away from it. If Chalobah can't stay at the club to fight for his place, then he isn't good enough as we've been made to believe. If he can't stay to stake a claim in the League Cup, FA Cup and dead rubber games he'd feature, then he isn't good enough. Debuchy was the first choice RB at Arsenal until Bellerin got a chance to steal the spot for life. Casemiro joined Real in 2013 but had to wait till 2016 to cement his place in the team. Just last season, Rashford had his chance and he took it, relegating big money buy, Martial and Uncle Young to the bench. When did Nath even become Chelsea's level BTW? A player who couldn't nail down a place at Napoli and host of low-level sides, is all of a sudden Chelsea level? He was offered a deal, but the lad chose to chicken out. I can't be worried! |
airmark:Trolling. |
Greatihex:There is a word called 'competition'. |
Tiemoue Bakayoko has followed Chelsea FC, Willian, David Luiz, Michy Batshuayi and Didier Drogba on his twitter account this morning. This boy is blue. |
Greatihex:Mou doesn't negotiate your stay at the club, if he doesn't like you, he sends you parking. Conte wanted Nath to stay hence the new deal that was offered to him. Kid felt it was time to leave, how can it be Conte's fault? |
bigkesh:What we have here is a boy with the features of a statutory homosexual. Every good looking fella is a potential victim in his eyes. Watch your asxx Kesh, watch it. |
PietroRico:Airhead without a valid opinion of his own calling me an airhead? Son you are a piece of sh1t in the pantheon of best posters that abound on this board. You deserve to have died in every genocide that had happened in history anuofia. You have been knocking my way like a randy dog on a hot date, I tried ignoring your advances but you showed no restraint like the indecorous gay you are. In a civilized setting, a terminal retard like you would be thrown in a dungeon of wild monkeys, because your existence challenges the ingenuity of God. Go to your thread and hold fort, attention seeking perv. If you paid the same attention on me to your football season, manure urinated would have won the league by 20pts. |
PietroRico:See me see trouble oo, na who be this born-throway wey wan disturb my peace for here? Are you stupid enough not to see that I was sharing my view in reply to Tval's report, not knowing it was at first a cardiac? Tval:It's two mentions I am getting from you just in a space of three days. It's not like you aren't aware that you are an attention seeking perv, you would have thought you are equally decent. You are a terrible schmutz son, one that feeds on people's replies. You have health departments to thank for no longer considering masochism a mental illness, cos it's alarming at the rate at which you are seeking pain in my hands. Could it be masochism or another inquiry into homosexuality? If my memory serves me right, you've made advances toward A40 in the past, but got rebuffed. Is it my turn on your long list of men to send out signs? I'll advice you grab your filthy self to your thread, this place holds no space for a despicable soul like you. |
Nihilist:Acquired brain damage then. |
bigkesh:Afrodoc2? |
Well, given this happened on the field of play, it's most probably a TBI, i.e. traumatic brain injury. It is caused by an external force - such as a blow to the head or an aerial battle collision which causes the brain to move inside the skull. Dammit. I pray for the kid. |
PattyCake:Uhm...Nihilist, Bigkesh and Afrodoc2, I believe these are stray bullets headed your directions. |
diggz:They can't stand the heat, not even Breast-star ![]() |
hensben:No one is worth what's being quoted for them in today's market. Simple. |
Bimffo:I am a big fan of Baker but bro, this is Conte's call to make. If we are looking at challenging genuinely in Europe next season, I am sure the club wont be looking his way. I'll say bring him over to England, loan him to Huddersfield where he would get game time and follow his progress closely. That boy is a diamond. Never on social media, always working on himself. Consummate professional! |
Nihilist: raumdeuter:I believe there is something called mental toughness in football. It's that part of science of football which enhances the performance of a player and a big contributor to the development of the complete footballer. I have gone through the list of the Serie A players who all flopped in England and it seems they all shared one thing in common - absence of mental strength. While in EPL, the likes of Pelle, Bojinov, Bianchi et al, never showed a high level of commitment and passion for the game to suggest they were in possession of a healthy mental strength. When they got marked out, that was the end of it. No willingness to fight and prove a point. They all relied heavily on their skill-set, which eventually let them down. That was the case with Fernandud Torres. Amazing goal poacher at Liverpool, switched to Chelsea for 50mil, too many expectations, low mental strength, FLOP! Conversely, Belotti is different. This dude is a beast, both in his mind and on the outside. Belotti is the scrapper, boasting tenacity, intensity and presence in the final third, and will do whatever it takes to put the ball in the back of the net, pushing defenders around and giving no quarter to his opponents (sic). Someone described him as a 'young Tevez' here. Balotelli was able to show flashes of greatness because he was in possession of this mental toughness, it was his character that cut his time at City short. I believe a trend can NOT go on forever. There used to be a time Chelsea were cursed down the RB position. We went from Ferreira to Geremi, Bouhlahrouz, Belleti, Bosingwa until Ivanovic came calling and then Azpilicueta. The Serie A might have churned out failures in the past, but hey, that trend can always come to an end. I'll bet my 7 inches c0rk that Belotti and Dybala would both do fine outside the shores of italy.

See as bad market make us dey happy over Bakayoko, a player wey e be say we watch en game see say trapping na wahala give am. Any way na way sha. Anything the club wan buy make them buy, so far it's a human. It's not my money. |
nateevs:My point exactly. |
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has contacted Torino striker Andrea Belotti over the phone about a potential switch to Stamford Bridge, according to La Stampa (via www.calciomercato.com). |
Instead of paying 75milla for a 28year-old Auba, I say add cash to that figure and land that stocky Italian who knows no mercy. Breaking our transfer record for Belotti can never be a bad idea. |
Squawka with a neat breakdown of who'd fit in better at Chelsea. They've got stats to support their assessment. Good read: http://www.squawka.com/news/aubameyang-bellotti-and-morata-which-lukaku-alternative-best-suits-chelseas-style-of-play/969301#bb7wyJbBLcHEMwsD.97

Palace Secure Loftus-Cheek Loan Deal. |
Fresca:NL dudes have got no chills at all. Like they are still sending you PMs, requesting to fuvk? Are they blind not to see the serious civil war raging on your chest, which has successfully created a distance between the two fleshy lumps? Eh? |
Ibime:Uncle Orubebe there ![]() That role model part gives me concern too honestly. |
I still maintain that Danilo isn't bad for the RWB position. He is yet to learn the defensive discipline required at a top club, hence the horrendous displays at Real Madrid. But that doesn't make him useless. His surging runs and deliveries down the flank are two attributes needed for that RWB position hence I think he'd be a good competition for Moses. His signing can only be a bad one if he is going to be playing anywhere near our box. Na then I go swear for Conte and the board. |
airmark:You have a peripatetic brain airmak but it's a good thing bud. Not everyone is gifted with wandering thoughts ![]() The emboldened is you struggling to understand why you don't need Rudiger at Chelsea. You are torn between understanding why we paid 34mil for the nigga and how the useless nigga is NOT going to strengthen our backline. Can we break it down? 1. The Price Isn't Right: According to you, paying 34m for Rudiger is us getting magad. Now I am asking you, do you have an estimation which takes into account the inflationist trend of transfer fees? Do you have an explanation to why Southampton are holding out 60million for Van Virgil Dijk, Napoli holding out 60million for Koulibaly, Swansea holding out 50million for Sigurdsson, Belotti valued at 88million, Morata valued at 75million, Mbappe valued at 100million, Lemar valued at 60million? What are your explanations to why these average players have got high price tag dangling on their necks? Conversely, don't you think getting an equally average player like Rudiger at 34m is shrewd business? 2. Rudiger Isn't Going To Strengthen Us: You know this how? Whoscored.com highlightes "Committing too many fouls and delivering poor crossing" as Rudiger major weaknesses, now tell me, how bad is that? We are not playing a high-line and Rudy isn't going down the flanks, meaning his two major flaws are most likely to be mitigated at Chelsea. I have been following this guy a long time to know that the only blot on his copybook is rash defending. He is dominant in the air, excellent on the ball, solid, composed in every sense, wins back possession and recycles it. But NO, he is no better than Gary Cahill. So what are your assessment about his qualities and what makes him a very stupid defender as you put it? Answers on a postcard please. |
airmark:Your argument lacks direction. Are you concerned about Rudiger being outperformed by Manolas yet got sold at a higher figure or are you concerned that we snapped up a bad defender? If the latter is your argument, then believe me when I say you don't have an argument. Rudiger is a decent defender. If you're making case for the former, then believe me, you equally don't have an argument. Players market value aren't determined solely by performance. Indicators like age, position, length of contract remaining and the residual book value, all play big roles in a player's valuation. This is not to mention that the level of the national team represented is also taken into account. Using the criteria above, Rudiger has every right to cost higher than Manolas. The German had a contract with Roma that was to run till 30.06.2020, a year longer than Manolas'. Rudy can play anywhere across the defence, Manolas is only a CB. He is 24, two years younger than Manolas. He plays for the German national team, Manolas is with fvcking Greece. If you still think performance should solely dictate market value, then feel free to tell the world that Pedro who had a stellar outing last season should be valued higher than Hazard. The joke would sell ![]() |
Danilo is a good signing for that RWB position. I have in the past expressed my concern about Moses being our sole RWB guy. We need like two to three fellas vying for one spot. That's healthy competition. Good to have a player who has a decent delivery and good off the ball movement coming in to give Victor a run for his money. More signings abeg. |
