This line up should secure the win today.
Madueke and Neto charging down the wings should cause enough damage, then we have Palmer and Jackson putting these mudafuckers to the sword with some excellent linkup plays.
Let’s go boys! |

Ibime: Impossible to qualify with that record cos Aston Villa, Newcastle and City have sat up. Only Forest might wobble.
Let's try beat Ipswich first then my hope is Fulham are on holiday already, so assess after the next 2 matches. We could win a one off match against Newcastle or Forest to clinch it, but I'm doubtful we even beat Ipswich tomorrow. Omo eh. See our life. |

BlueRayDick:

I no know who lie pass between coaches and Nigerian politicians .
This Enzo post sounds like what a Nigerian politician would say while reeling out invisible achievement of their government. His choice of words are letting him down. What he’s saying is that this team ticks when you have Nico leading that offense. He brings others into the game, presses more than any outfield player we have and creates chances for his teammates. The only problem which Nico has is scoring goals, sadly, that’s the primary duty of a CF. Now if we can get a player who can carry out the aforementioned attributes of Nico and still scores goals for fun, then that’s an upgraded clone. That’s what the bald one is trying to say. |

Gucciboy: Chelsea should swap maresca for Liam Rosenior. Both were signed by blueco group. A point shy of a UCL spot. He’s done really good with that Strasbourg team. What I find more impressive about him is the ability to try out new techniques and tactics. Those tweaks are what really makes the difference between a good manager and a dumbass. |

It’s two consecutive GWS that we’ve had to come from behind to nick a win. I wouldn’t say that is impressive because we could have lost both games.
We want to stay dominant and to win our games convincingly without having to wait for the last fixture.
However, this is still the stuff Champions are made of, not to throw in the towel, never to give up.

popizaino: Unfortunately, everything you said is what makes the modern game very predictable and not threatening enough, just one way footie that requires those attacking wingers wanting to cut in and play R2 like Robben when they aren't build for such. Even Robben earlier played as LWF before making it as the RWF.
The obsessions with MSN,BBC Robben Ribbery lewandoski,Salah,Mane Firminio esque kind of attack is fueling such predictability.
Madueke movement and his inability to easily turn side makes him less of a threat. You can't be an inverted winger when you lack this.
Just because Ronaldo or messi did it does not mean valencia or mata could do it simply because the later posses the same dominant foot as the former.
And Most of you Chelsea fans do not keep the nuance of how we score but who scored. That's why you still find it strange that i can be advocating for Madueke in the LWF position. I can give you countless examples of how we scored from having these players where in their rightful positions which has been more beneficial to us in difficult games I doubt you have a clue about what you’re saying. How’s using the inverted wingers a predictable attacking pattern and how is cutting inside the only attacking option for them? There are three-dimensional threats inverted wingers pose when charging forward – they can go wide, cut inside, or create space for overlapping defenders. That’s unpredictability purely defined. You can’t compare that to just being confined to the sidelines like traditional wingers and making nothing but runs. |

popizaino: Ralphina has been showing everyone how it done even in 2025 but you're all focus on trying to make malouda play like messi just because they are both left footed. Baba we’ve gone past that era. Modern footie demands versatility and unpredictable attacking patterns. Inverted wingers are teams biggest threats, and I mean nearly every single team you see their games. When you have a player playing on their “opposite” side, it maximizes their ability to cut inside and strike with their stronger foot, this is more effective than being confined to the sidelines and asked to make darting runs or make crosses. This thing no be rocket science. |

popizaino: My point is that Madueke will be more dangerous from there than the right. The RWF seems to me like mismatch and waste of talent. And how is he gonna do it? Run past his man, then whip a cross into the box? Is this 2002? |
