I swear those ninjas at Weaintgotnohistory are crazy ![]() The name of their site alone is something else. Which Chelsea fan goes around these days saying we ain't got no history? ![]() |
Debroslink:I fancy Villareal, they look quite stronger. But then, liverpool has what it takes to win it; an experienced gaffer in Klopp and couple of good players who are determined to make a point. |
Good work liverpool, good work. |
CFCman:Man City v Bayern Atletico v Real Madrid A possible City v R'madrid final with a major upset on the cards. This is the right time to be a citizen. Remember 2012? It pays to play the underdog role ![]() |
donbenedict:Looks like a bed spread to me. |
Godgay:At your service homie. Don't ponder suicide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waV741V1MHY |
Nihilist: raumdeuter:It wont kill to ask questions before jumping into conclusions. A simple dictum in law is that, he who asserts must prove. So I believe the onus of proof that Naingollan's style of play is similar to Vidal's lies on me. I really don't know about you two, but on the many different occasions I've seen Vidal and Naingollan play, one feature underlines their games - their rambunctious style of play. Tackling and anticipation are two attributes which allows both men to be effective at intercepting passes and winning back possession. These are the similarities. This season alone, Naingollan is averaging 1.9 tackles per game and 1.4 interceptions per game, whilst Vidal is on 2.4 tackles per game and 1.5 interceptions per game. These are the close similarities. These two men enjoy running around the pitch chasing fellas off the turf, these are the god-damned similarities. Watch these video clips of Naingollan and tell me what isn't similar to Vidal's game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6lGIOZ3Pa4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOQZ76b3pxs . . .and of course this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdFulbqOOKw And yeah, I'll rather have this ninja in my midfield than John Mikel Obi. |
Oh Begovic! |
Oscar and Pedro are both having a stinker of a game. There isn't a single spark coming from the flanks. Rangel and Taylor are already on the ref's book, let's hunt the Swans down the flanks. Mikel and Cesc are doing what they know how to do best - expose the backline. We look vulnerable at the back. |
Nihilist:Seems like you don't see Serie A games. If I were asked to describe Naingollan's style of play, I'd tell you to go watch Arturo Vidal. The Belgian is just another version of the Chilean. Moreover, I wouldn't call this hype. We've suffered greatly in the hands of Mikel, Matic and Cesc in that CM area. Give us anyone, just anyone other than the trio aforementioned and we'd still praise the signing. Phuck! I'd drink to the capture of James McCarthy or even Victor Wanyama as things take be for we club. |
bigkesh:Same news outlet that first reported Conte's arrival. They've got credibility, I give 'em that. Nainggolan? Thank goodnews I asked for this! |
raumdeuter:Don't be ridiculous I provided that link hoping it was a current compilation as the title says not knowing na vintage stuff. But then, I will give more credit to the chap who made this compilation. He clearly understand what it takes to be a top player, something you have been trying so hard to point out to me for the past 48hrs. Bellarabi who isn't even considered good enough for the second eleven of Germany is a top player? An unproven Draxler is a top player? Leno, Canhaloglu and Goretzka? Are these football players or are you casting a horror movie? Fella honestly if this isn't the gaffe of the highest order, i wonder then what could be. Collective achievements, personal honors, consistent good performance, market value etc places a player amongst the elites, not some phucking instagram likes or bundesliga heroics. Im enjoying the comic relief you are delivering and I see some people are already appreciating your works, guess it's about time you gave basketmouth and AY a run for their cash ![]() |
"Chelsea have made the right choice if they want to win back the Premier League. I think, under Antonio Conte, it's a guarantee. He is one of the most meticulous managers in the world - but also a fighter. Chelsea have made a great decision. To be honest, when we were together I didn't think he would become a manager. But when he did start his new career - even if he had endured some difficult times - you could see he was going to be successful. He always had a great determination. He always had a willingness to make it to the top - and that shows in his incredible rise. So, I think in his future, there will be a Champions League victory. And I hope for him it's with Chelsea." - Fabrizio Ravanelli "He is a great coach, has done so well in Italy, he has some very good qualities, strong character and is the man who can start a new cycle (of success) for Chelsea so I hope things go well for him. He has very strong ideas, very determined and is very disciplined. He will bring all these qualities to Chelsea and hopefully he will be able to integrate into the culture. He has already coached in Italy, all these things, the language, they can influence the results, but he will bring self discipline and determination, as well as tactical awareness and all these things can be good for Chelsea. Conte is one of those managers like Guardiola, like Simeone, like Mourinho. They have got the careers to manage big teams. The results will tell us whether it is right or not but I really hope so. I can talk about my experience and it was important for me to go there and not just doing what I used to do in Italy but adapting to the culture and this helped me to blend with the others, to work with the players better and gave me an extra advantage. I believe Antonio will be very much the same. He will have to bring his own ideas but obviously understand the environment and get into it as quickly as he can. It’s very much down to the person. You have to get into the language, the culture of the people. It can be very quick, it depends on you. But he’s a very intelligent person so I’m sure it will be very quick and I think he will have the support of a great club and this is very, very important. I don’t know what exactly Mourinho did and what Antonio will do. Discipline is a very important quality and it’s important that the players recognise this and they behave properly because when you are in a group you have to maintain rules in order to have the right environment. Antonio knows this very well, he’s been coaching a top club like Juventus for a while and in a way it is similar to Chelsea and I’m sure he’ll find a way to answer the question.” - Gianfranco Zola "Most modern managers are a bit more placid and more calm around the players, but it doesn’t do any harm to have a temper on you as a manager. The players can be a bit precious nowadays, but I think they just have to get on with it. The Chelsea players owe the club a decent season next year. The fact they’re stuck mid-table this term is not correct. They were champions last season and they should certainly be much more competitive than they are. And I think with Conte going in there next year, if he does crack the whip the players have just got to respond.” - Steve Clarke "The man can be a beast, a dressing room when he is angry is one of the most dangerous places you can be. I have been in his dressing room at half-time when we have been winning, but he comes in and will be throwing full bottles of water around because of a mistake we made, or because he feels we should be further ahead. When Conte speaks, his words assault you. They crash through the doors of your mind, often quite violently and settle deep within you.” - Andrea Pirlo “Conte is a big coach and very tough worker. The training sessions are intense and the Chelsea players who do not work hard will not play. It’s as simple as that. That is Conte’s character. He always works closely with players, talks to them, coaches them, is the boss of the dressing room but he will treats players with respect and the players respect him.” - Andrea Ranocchia Very interesting opinions of ex-pro's and current players and all of them speak of his will to win, his discipline and the way he coaches the players. I like the fact that Steve Clarke has called some players "precious" because it seems that some of them are! You look around the Chelsea squad now and we are at a crossroads. We've taken the last decade for granted relying on the likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard, Petr Cech and Didier Drogba to ensure people toe the line. We've relied on them in games to pick people up, to drag them through a bad performances to deliver success on a regular basis. They are people that in my opinion did half the managers work for him when it came to discipline within the squad. Now? I just do not see any of it being honest and that's a remarkable admission. After such a wonderful season last year, breaking the record for being top of the league for the most amount of days for it to go so drastically wrong indicates to me player power causing a divide between them and the Manager and we all know who pays the consequences! If anything in my view, the appointment of Antonio Conte, with the endorsements we have read above and most importantly of all what Conte demands of his players with discipline being much the focus, it's an admission from Roman Abramovich that there MUST be someone strong enough to get inside that dressing room to sort out the issues and begin to rebuild. Someone who will not take any nonsense from anyone because if they do give him issues, it seems that they will not be around long enough to cause a bigger problem. The aim for next season simply has to be to get back into the top four as the minimum in order to qualify for the Champions League. If Conte can sort us out with the right moves in the transfer market and develop a system that works for everyone then I believe we have an excellent chance to do it. We can purely focus on the Premier League whereas our main rivals will have European competition to contend with. Source: ChelseaDaft. |
raumdeuter:Hehehe Chill, ain't taking into note those rankings. What matters is whose name made the list. Unfortunately, I cant find the Canhaloglu, Bellarabi, Draxler, Gustavo, Naldo, Huntelaar, Sane, Goretzka GeisBender, Bernd Leno et al on there. Safe to say the top players in Bundesliga are only at Bayern with one or two plying their trade at Dortmund? |
raumdeuter:Comedy central. ![]() And these schmucks are top players by the virtue of what really? Make no mistake about it, there's a fine line between being a good player and being a top player - one of the elites. Sane is my guy, I watch Schalke most times because of the nigga. He's talented no doubt, but to claim he's a top player would be quite ridiculous 'cos as it stands he is yet to get anywhere in world football. The emboldened names are the only fellas who fit make the 'top players' category if I were to be objective and lenient. Take a look at the list of current top players in the world and tell me how many of the guys you mentioned here who made the cut: http://www.ranker.com/list/best-current-soccer-players/ranker-sports |
Little wonder they're on the road collecting N20 from commercial drivers. |
Baddestguyp:And that should be. . .? If you're looking at Koscielny and Ramsey, then you totally lost it. Debosky believes these lads are consummate professionals. Show some respect ![]() |
See as this man just take keep me awake. Dayokanu see you later in the day. |
raumdeuter:There are undoubtedly more glum connotations to your fact. Most of these names you're reeling out aren't just Bundesliga players but Bayern Munich players. Their nominations and success on the international scene doesn't reflect the quality of the Bundesliga but the ascendance of Bayern Munich and how much monopoly Die Roten seem to be enjoying in Germany. It goes to show how much Bayern have long exploited their Bundesliga brethren in the pursuit of strengthening their own ranks, going about it in all too clinical fashion. Hope you now see reason why we believe the name 'Bayernliga' fits nicely. Bar what Bayern has to offer, there are no top players in the German league. #Fact |
raumdeuter:Just too many lies? Oh God, this isn't the way to cop out ![]() I made the necessary corrections even before you said a word. So back to basics, who and who are the top players in the Bundesliga? |
Lothar Mattaus even won the Ballon d'or whilst playing for Inter not even Bayern. |
raumdeuter:Many words, many lies. The last time a player from the Bundesliga won the Ballon d'or was around the 70s. It was during the second half of that decade did the German sides deliver Ballon d'or winners. Beckenbauer, Rummenigge, Simonsen and Keegan. As a matter of fact, over the past 30 years, the German league has provided zero Ballon d'or winner, whilst the EPL has afforded two winners in Owen (2001) and Ronaldo (2008). Not to mention that between 2006 n' 2009 English clubs accounted for as many players in the top ten more than any other league. So you see my very good friend, history doesn't support your rather myopic assertion. If you must lie, be brief. The bitter truth is that a league that lacks competitiveness can't claim to be in possession of the best of the bests players. Bayern Munchen's monopoly of the Bundesliga has in so many ways limited the influx of the best players into the league. Why would BvB or even Wolfsburg bother to acquire a top talent like Aguero, when it's quite obvious he'd end up joining Bayern anyway. It's damning! There's no way you can compare what the EPL has to offer to the Bundesliga's. A quick run down would help. Five top players from four different EPL teams. Arsenal: Cech, Oezil, Sanchez, Koscielny, Ramsey Chelsea: Courtois, Terry, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa Man Utd: De Gea, Schweinsteiger, Carrick, Mata, Rooney Man City: Kompany, Toure, Silva, De Bruyne, Aguero Defend the dearth of top players in the Bundesliga. |
Ibime:Nothing else but to hold a series of individual meetings with the fellas who intend to leave. Courtois should be in that mix. |
Conte at Chelsea, Guardiola at Citeh, Mourinho at Manyoo, Klopp at Liverpool? I can only picture an EPL season brimming with chaos. Na slap and punches go dey settle some games next season. |
And the b1tch is supposed to be a mother and grandmother at same time? She deserves divine slap. |
According to Di Marzio, Conte was spotted in London today and could sign tomorrow. Let the revolution begin. |
