When I got the alert, I was in the school canteen eating palm oil rice and fish with my homies, when the alert hit my phone, I lost appetite immediately, I paid the woman and left to use the ATM my friends were surprised, I withdrew 100k immediately, sent 50k to my parents and use the remaining #50k flex,

That very evening, I went to jiji and negotiated and bought my first car worth 1.2 million. grin, babes want kill me with fvck, forget it just get money, girls will be on your neck 24/7 Nah why I stopped chasing girls, just get money and u are good grin, even my guys babe self wan come collect, girls ain't loyal grin

But I had already spent 3.5 million from the money, grin, although my brother was angry but las las the car helped a lot in running around from going to the village from school every weekend to supervise the project.

When he was sacked last year by PSG I suggested that Arsenal should go for him on Twitter and thought they'd be better off with him but Arsenal board overlooked him thinking Arteta will turn things around. When we sacked Lampard I was from the foremost promoters of Tuchel as his replacement when majority were calling a bottler for losing to Ole and Flick without looking at his performances holistically, now some of those who criticised him despite not having sufficient knowledge of him are the ones over praising him to high heavens.
I never took my time to look into his style and philosophy. At PSG, I felt it was just the big names doing their thing, alas I was wrong, TT had a huge influence in the way they were set-up. Little wonder, they made it all the way to UCL final, and could have won it if not for their profligacy in front of goal.

We have a gem in our midst.

When you think of how formidable, resilient, and efficient we've become. When you think of how we tend to demoralize and frustrate teams from a position of strength, remember Tuchel's powerful promise during his unveiling press conference back in January.

This man is our biggest signing in many years!

Respect to the German monkey, the tactical god cool

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Griffon: 3:19pm On Aug 29, 2021
A fan's view. I wholly agree.

There is an old adage that nothing good happens after midnight. The transfer market equivalent is nothing good happens on deadline day. There might be good players to be had, but that close to the window slamming shut creates desperation that makes teams do crazy things like signing Danny Drinkwater or overpaying for players just to get them in.

The only need Chelsea really had this transfer window was a striker. A bit of Erling Haaland distraction aside, Chelsea got their man in Lukaku quickly enough. Everything else is a bonus. Even with Kurt Zouma’s transfer to West Ham, a centerback isn’t an absolute need. Though the Blues could do with a fourth centermid before the current trio is run into the ground, there are others that can cover if need be.

Point being, Chelsea has no reason to be desperate in these closing days. If Sevilla doesn’t want to play ball over Kounde, so be it, the club will be back for him next summer. If the Niguez deal is truly off and no other center mid presents themselves, that’s fine, the Blues can wait on Gilmour or Gallagher to fill the role more permanently down the line.

Signing for the sake of signing has been an issue for Chelsea in the past but it doesn’t need to remain one. The Blues are already in a strong place for the season. Any additions at this point only strengthen that. Therefore, let all of the rivals fall over themselves on deadline day. Let City spend the GDP of a small island nation on a striker they really don’t need. Let Arsenal overpay for a player even Burnley would be weary of just to say they are doing something. Let the rivals eat each other alive on the craziest day of the year.

Kounde to Chelsea heating up
While Odoi may leave to Dortmund on loan, same with RLC, Bakayoko, Drinkwater

Still no update on Barkley or Chelsea signing a midfielder
Jorginho getting subbed for Chalobah yesterday suggests that the latter will be our fourth man in that midfield area, therefore channeling the funds for Tchoaumeni towards the capture of Kounde. Albeit, this is a situation I wouldn't like. Having Chalobah and Tchoaumeni makes sense to me, especially when one can't 100% trust Jorginho or Kante's fitness.

The French defender flew out of Spain last night and there are inferences that we may lodge in a bid in the next few hours. Good businesses we've been doing in this summer's transfer window though.

Chelsea FC is the team to beat. CR7 in United is like adding Knorr cubes inside an already sour soup.
Bring Messi or even Pluto's best player to manure, im still not worried. They have a useless base for their attacking band to thrive. Na Fred or McTominay go give these best legs the license to move forward and cause havoc?

They'll always be exposed.

No be to buy attackers full everywhere be the issue, who go give them freedom to bombard forward, who cover the space they're leaving behind, who go protect the backline? They don't have a DM who can do that hence I see them as a vulnerable team.

Moreso, they have a rookie as a manager who doesn't understand the concept of space-time in football.

Till, they bring on board say Conte and a modafucker like Casemiro. It is still City, Liverpool or Chelsea for the EPL.

Definitely, had a lot to do with the hammers I suppose. He was unfortunate to join a West Ham side that were always short of ideas moving forward. The supplies weren't coming from the attacking midfielders, I think Snodgrass recorded their highest assists that season and it wasn't even up to 7.

Quite pitiful.
