alBHAGDADI: Simple question. no long stories. wia is is stated that the old testament should be abolished. Besides, Mathew is in the new testament "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in- law against her mother-in-law.' And 'a man's foes will be those of his own household' ( Matthew 10:34-36 ). |

annunaki2: Is Mathew an old testament? Besides when and where did the bible say the old testament should be done away with? To the best of my biblical knowledge Jesus came to fulfill all that was written in the old testament. He is reported tin the bible to have said: " Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Mathew 5:17-18 : 2 Likes |

annunaki2: Deuteronomy 13: 6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again. 12 If you hear it said about one of the towns the Lord your God is giving you to live in 13 that troublemakers have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods you have not known), 14 then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock. 16 You are to gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. That town is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt. Matthew 10:34: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.' And 'a man's foes will be those of his own household' ( Matthew 10:34-36 ). Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Romans 14:19 Are these also contradictions ? 2 Likes |

Besides, we call God with any of his names that pleases us at any time. Be it Allah, the general name which is most frequently used by muslims and even arab christians, or any. Like I said earlier, I dont do christian muslim debate. Find someone else do do that and stop mentioning me please for that purpose. For your information, I have many christians in my family. alBHAGDADI: The bolded is false. Allah is an arabic word that generally refers to god. If you worship a stone, your ilah (god) is stone. If you worship the sun, your Ilah(god) is the sun. The God of Muhammad (saw) is different from the gods of his fathers. His fathers worship multiple idols, while he call them towards the worship of the one true God. The creator of the heavens and earth. 3 Likes |

Theproudinfidel: Anti Islamists allege here that the prophet killed Nadr because of his anti Islamic poetry. What the convienently fail to mention however is that in the Battle of Badr, Nadr joined the enemy army! They make a big deal out of his killing, but obviously Nadr joined the enemies of Islam to do battle with Muslims, and to kill Muslims. This is what happened during the battle, and as such he risked his own life by taking up arms against the Muslims. After the battle, out of the 72 captives, only 2 were executed, one of them being Nadr b. al-Harith. Here is the account: " It would be in the fitness of things to say a few words about the magnanious treatment that was accorded to the prisoners of war by Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions. This noble attitude which they showed can be fully appreciated if we review it in the context of the circumstances which led to the war. The Prophet and his companions had endured for full fifteen years unspeakable insults and injuries at the hands of the Quraysh of Mecca so much so that they were obliged to bid goodbye to their native place and seek shelter into a far-off place. The Meccans who were thirsty for their blood did not allow them to lead a life of peace even in their new abodes. They fell upon them with all their forces in order to exterminate them root and branch. Fate, however, decided otherwise and they were defeated by a small army of the Muslims. Amidgst such feelings of bitterness the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remained calm and self-possessed. No atrocity was perpetrated upon the prisoners. Out of the seventy-two captives only two were executed, viz., al-Nadir b. al-Harith and Uqbah b. Abi Mu'ayt who were notorious for their unrelenting hostility towards the Muslims. The rest of the captives were treated with utmost kindness and consideration. "Blessings on the men of Medina," said one of these in later days, "they gave us wheaten bread to eat when there was little of it, contenting themselves with dates." It is not surprising, therefore, that some of the captives, yielding to these influences, embraced Islam and were therefore immediately set free. The rest were kept for ransom. But this was long before Quraysh could humble themselves to visit Medina for the purpose. The spell of kindly treatment was thus prolonged and left a favourable impression on the minds of those even who did not at once go over to Islam. The ransom of each prisoner varied with his financial position, ranging from one thousand dirhams to four thousand. The poor who could not afford to pay were set free without any compensation. Those who could read and write were given the charge of small children. Each one of them had to teach ten of their wards and when they became proficient in reading and writing, their instructor was granted liberty. This condition of securing freedom throws a good deal of light on the value which Islam attaches to learning." (Source: The Life of Muhammad PBUH by Abdul Hameed Siddiqui, p.185-186, Islamic Publications LTD.) March 624: Asma bint Marwan It is alleged that Asma bint Marwan was assassinated by Prophet Mohammad (p) because she insulted and wrote poetry against him. The story has been reported by some biographers on the Prophet’s life, who collected stories without verifying if the story is true or false, hundreds of years after the Prophet’s demise. This story has not been recorded by any of our most authentic Hadith collections. This is similar to the story of Jesus killing a child in the Gospel of Thomas, and critics try to force the story upon Christians that they have to accept it as evidence that Jesus was a murderer. However, no credible scholar (Christian or non-Christian) would use this incident as true even though the Gospel of Thomas is dated earlier than the Gospel of John. This is the same case with the story of Asma as well – it is a fake story, forged in order to degrade and vilify the Prophet of Islam as a barbaric man. Besides, the sources used by critics are laughable. An invalid isnaad. The fabricated report that was narrated by Muhammad ibn al-Hajjaaj of whom al-Bukhaari said: His hadeeth is to be rejected. Ibn Ma‘een said: (He is) an evil liar. Ad-Daaraqutni said: (He is) a liar; and on one occasion he said: He is not trustworthy. April 624: Abu Afak Same fake fabricated story as above. September 624: Kab bin al-Ashraf False interpretation again. The reason the dude was killed was not because he insulted the Prophet (p) with poetry. Historical evidences show that Ka'b was a war-monger. Read this article https://discover-the-truth.com/2015/01/24/kab-bin-al-ashrafs-killing-deception-was-the-prophet-p-annoyed/ September (?) 624: Ibn Sunayna False story. https://discover-the-truth.com/2015/04/03/the-false-story-of-ibn-sunayna/ I don tire abeg 5 Likes 1 Share |

Theproudinfidel:Of course you think differently from a normal Muslim kid. No wonder you think that a piece of paper containing texts of the Qur'an will not burn when set ablaze. thats why even the so called scholars sound so ridiculous on some issue; I give u an example, ibn baz the late grand mufti of Saudi Arabia once said that females are not allowed to drive because cars produce a vibrating effect which is capable arousing the female sexually.False information, always consumed by the ignorant and gullible once as usual. Bn Baz never said that, neither do any scholar in the Islamic Fatwa board have ever said that or even something similar to that. lastly I stop thinking like every Muslim because I read a lot about other people's religion and found out Islam didn't stand out on some subject as it claims to be, a good example is that I found the codes of manu treating women more nice than quranic injuctions, Misconception. Find below a little of what Islam prescribes regarding women. Firstly, before the coming of Islam, the Arabs hate to see that a female child is born into dia family. Allah azza wa jal disapproves this. "When news is brought to one of them, of (the Birth of) a female (child), his face darkens and he is filled with inward grief! With shame does he hide himself from his people because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain her on (sufferance) and contempt, or bury her in the dust? Ah! What an evil (choice) they decide on?" [Noble Quran 16:58-59] Further more, far from saving the girl's life so that she may later suffer injustice and inequality, Islam requires kind and just treatment for her. Among the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in this regard are the following: Whosoever has a daughter and he does not bury her alive, does not insult her, and does not favor his son over her, God will enter him into Paradise. [Ibn Hanbal, No. 1957] The right of females to seek knowledge is not different from that of males. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seeking knowledge is mandatory for every Muslim". [Al-Bayhaqi] Muslim as used here including both males and females. As a wife, the Quran clearly indicates that marriage is sharing between the two halves of the society, and that its objectives, besides perpetuating human life, are emotional well-being and spiritual harmony. Its bases are love and mercy. Among the most impressive verses in the Quran about marriage is the following. "And among His signs is this: That He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest, peace of mind in them, and He ordained between you love and mercy. Lo, herein indeed are signs for people who reflect." [Noble Quran 30:21] According to Islamic Law, women cannot be forced to marry anyone without their consent. Ibn 'Abbas reported that a girl came to the Messenger of God, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and she reported that her father had forced her to marry without her consent. The Messenger of God gave her the choice... (between accepting the marriage or invalidating it). [Ibn Hanbal No. 2469] In another version, the girl said: "Actually I accept this marriage but I wanted to let women know that parents have no right (to force a husband on them)" [Ibn Majah, No. 1873] Besides all other provisions for her protection at the time of marriage, it was specifically decreed that woman has the full right to her Mahr (bride price), a marriage gift, which is presented to her by her husband and is included in the nuptial contract, and that such ownership does not transfer to her father or husband. The concept of mahr in Islam is neither an actual or symbolic price for the woman, as was the case in certain cultures, but rather it is a gift symbolizing love and affection. Further more the Quran thus states: "...And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them, and men are a degree above them." [Noble Quran 2:228] Such degree is Quiwama (maintenance and protection). This refers to that natural difference between the sexes which entitles the weaker sex to protection. It implies no superiority or advantage before the law. Yet, man's role of leadership in relation to his family does not mean the husband's dictatorship over his wife. Islam emphasizes the importance of taking counsel and mutual agreement in family decisions. Over and above her basic rights as a wife comes the right which is emphasized by the Quran and is strongly recommended by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); kind treatment and companionship. The Quran states: "...But consort with them in kindness, for if you hate them it may happen that you hate a thing wherein God has placed much good." [Noble Quran 4:19] Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The most perfect believers are the best in conduct and best of you are those who are best to their wives. [Ibn-Hanbal, No. 7396] As a mother, Islam considered kindness to parents next to the worship of God. "And we have enjoined upon man (to be good) to his parents: His mother bears him in weakness upon weakness..." [Noble Quran 31:14] [See also Quran 46:15, 29:8] Moreover, the Quran has a special recommendation for the good treatment of mothers: "Your Lord has decreed that you worship none save Him, and that you be kind to your parents..." [Noble Quran 17:23] A man came to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) asking: O Messenger of God, who among the people is the most worthy of my good company? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, Your mother. The man said then who else: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, Your mother. The man asked, Then who else? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, Your mother. The man asked, Then who else? Only then did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say, Your father. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] A famous saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is: "Paradise is at the feet of mothers." [In An-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, Ahmad] "It is the generous (in character) who is good to women, and it is the wicked who insults them." Let me stop here for now 2 Likes |
