I don't even know how to start pardon my errors, my name is Nancy I school in Ambrose Alli university Ekpoma, I'm in my 2rd year now.
Last month i Decided to quit my job since my boss is deducting from my pay we agreed on 15k monthly most I was paid in a month was 12k at times he pays 8k although I was able to save 40k and I took loan to complete the money to enable me pay my school fees due to the strike since I started working February, so on the15th of last month also being the one sponsoring myself in school, I have till November to pay about 56k for my first semester school fees, with no one to call on and there is no way I could pay receiving less than 15k that's another reason I quitted the work,i was employed as a sales girl in one big supermarket with a pay of 25k although it was far from my house i spend #400 daily on transportation i even had to beg here on nairaland for assistance we agreed on 8am to 6pm after I started working he changed our agreement to 8am to 10pm he added 5k to our salary lest than 2weeks I was employed we wer robbed my phone and that of my colleague( she was employed August 20th) was stolen along with the day sale, when my boss he accused us of conniving with the thief to cut it short on Monday I went to work he told us (me & my colleague) not to bother coming to work and we should forget about the pay we should collect from the people we connive with to rob him, now I am very confuse I don't what to do I regret quitting my old job from Monday till now person never see work and time dae go

Bishop of Akoko Edo Diocese, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, The Rt Rev. Jolly Oyekpen, is dead.

The church on Monday said he passed away peacefully in the early morning of August 29, 2022, at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Edo State after he complained of brief illness.

He was born on the 7th of September, 1966.

Announcing the death on the ministry’s news website, the church said: “With great sadness but glory to God Almighty, the announces the death of The Rt Rev. Jolly Oyekpen.

“We offer sympathies and prayers for his family, to the priests, friends and the faithful whose lives he touched throughout his years of priestly and episcopal ministry.

“His approachable and youthful nature will be how Bishop Oyekpen will be remembered as he was the Bishop coordinator to the Anglican Youth Fellowship of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion until 2021. He was elected bishop in 2007 to pioneer the Diocese of Akoko-Edo.”

The church called for prayers for the late cleric’s wife, family, friends and the Diocese he left behind.

According to the statement, “burial arrangements will be announced in the days ahead.”

Total Shut down of Auchi - Benin Expressway by Esan Youth Over the Condition of the Federal Expressway at Ekpoma Edo State. Travelers are advised to use alternate route as the protest will be done daily from 7am to 4pm as a result of the bad roads in Ekpoma.

Also the bad state of the Benin - Auchi Federal Expressway is now a major concern to the students of AAU.
We won't stop posting about this road on till the government do something about it. Students pay as high as 1,000naira(going & coming) to campus because of the total bad state of the road.

The Aerospace Corporation has informed the public that the window of time for the re-entry of an out-of-control Chinese rocket into the Earth's atmosphere will begin on Saturday, July 30 at 15:24 New York time, however, it could be a difference of more or less seven hours.

A threat to air safety

The Long March 5B rocket departed on July 24 from China with a destination to the Tiangong space station carrying a new module, however, its propellant has gone out of control and is expected to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere crossing multiple populated regions, it is estimated that the rocket may impact South America.

The Aerospace Corporation is specialized in the analysis of the trajectories of large vessels built by humans

South America could be the impact zone
The Aerospace Corporation has predicted that the possible trajectories for the Chinese rocket's debris to land may include U.S. territory, Mexico, coastal areas, and South America in general, with a high probability of reaching some provinces of Argentina.

Pundits agree that is not common for uncontrolled re-entries to occur, at least not with objects of this tremendous size, regularly, rocket boosters do not leave the earth's orbit and fall to the ocean or other areas where it's safe from harming anyone involved in the operation.

Chinese rockets problems

This time, however, the propellant of the Chinese rocket did reach Earth's orbit, making it completely impossible to control how it will return to the earth, and it is thought that between 20 and 40% of its complete mass will survive re-entry and collide the planetary surface.

Those who know show that both small and medium-sized tanks and engine components will probably not disintegrate in the atmosphere, these are about 5 to 9 metric tons.

The prices of foodstuffs and provision is almost out of this world.
The economy is really biting hard on some of us with gluttonous kids .

As parent it hasn't bn easy,but we just have to keep pushing and striving hard,giving up is not an option.

I m blessed with healthy kids that loves provision than the normal food so it expected I stock more on provisions.

A jumbo loaf is finished on 2 sittings,with 4 packs of sachet Milo and 2 liquid tins of milk.

Now calculate it for a week and you go know say e nor easy.
A carton of Yale bread is now #2300 and it would last them for just a week,you very not added tinned liquid milks,rolls of milo and sachet tinned milk.

A carton of spaghetti is now #800
A crate of egg now #2400
(2 crates per month)
Kings oil nor even go there
Indomie noodles that one nor be your mate

Parents in the house,seems m the only one experiencing this biting economy, please kindly share how you're faring at least make I get hope.
