I am historian of post independence Nigeria , and I can authoritatively say that Nigerians have never protested against and federal government without the government conceding. Be it civilian or military administration , we always force the government to capitulate at least to a substantial extent.

If anyone is wondering why our refineries has not been working despite of the billions spent on them, here it is.
There are people with narrow personal interests everywhere, in power, petroleum, banking and finance, everywhere.
These structures must be demolished for Nigeria to move forward.

Agriculture in U.S and China is not what you can compare with anywhere in Africa. People over there will not ridicule corn or any crop fir that matter because they understand the need to be self sufficient in food production.

I saw a list of the 10 countries with the most Arable land in the world, Nigeria is on the list but the only one that is hungry. That should tell you something.

But I can easily tell you that the state governors do much more for farmers than the FG in almost every state in Nigeria.
Note, 52% of the budget is allocated to the FG and 27% allocated to the states.

Of course, why should I even mention your state government, we know they are there only to collect allocations from Abuja and do nothing with it.
That 52% goes to maintaining the military, the police, the foreign service, the FG bureaucracy etc. What exactly is the 27% to the states spent on.
