AgricultureRe: 30% Poultry Farms Shut Down In Six Months – PAN by Guestlander: 5:21pm On Jul 03, 2024
tctrills:
Stop defending the worst president ever.
You just learnt that 30% of Nigerians who invested in poultry farming shut down in 6 months of Tinubu government and you are still blaming more Nigerians for not investing in farming are you alright? huh
I'm not sorry to say most of them are stupid. Feed is the most costly part of the poultry business. If you don't get that covered and you rely solely on non existence feed producers in Nigeria then whatever you get is what you deserve.
This goes back to those who ridicule corn as a viable way of solving some of our food supply problems.
Perhaps hunger will eventually teach us how to be smart and make use of what we have.

Wait what are you even talking about. If at your age, you don't know the duties of government, then it's a shame.
Again, what would you do if I took a loan from you, invested in a farm and lost it all to herdsmen? Would your write off my debt?
Please let's talk with some sense.
I know the duties of government alright. They are supposed to grow your peppers and tomatoes.
Folks like you often default to Fulani herdsmen, the only logical excuse you can give for not going to farm.
But this is not the end of the story because agriculture started to decline in Nigeria since the seventies.

Do you have corn farms? If yes, you can tap into the chicken feed business and make money.
You are wasting your time if no one in Nigeria is doing this.
200 million people to feed. Humans are still hungry and you are thinking of feeding chicken. Keep on waiting for Tinubu while your "billionaires" continues to import junk from China.

Isn't it the same way some of you ridiculed GEJ when he spoke about the importance of cassava?

By the way, has your government provided adequate security for farmers?

How much is fertiliser?

Is there adequate infrastructure to move farm produce to processing facilities on time?

What is the present bank interest rate by CBN that even dangote had to cry out?

The government makes things difficult, but it is the masses you chose to blame.

When other governments were in power, it was thier fault. Now bat is in power, it is the masses fault.
OBJ not Jonathan started the cassava campaign, I can assure you that today some people who heeded the call are making millions from it.

tctrills:
Oga you have no point. Nigerians with access to money will only invest in safe sectors. If farming was safe and profitable, you don't need to beg people, they would flood it with investments.
Please stop blaming Nigerians. We have tried. It's your government that keeps failing us.
Safe sectors? OK, continue to invest in the safe sectors and starve.
Let us just continue to blame Tinubu for what we can do for ourselves.

Clearly you don't know the role of government.
This is the only country in the world where your government expects you to provide your own electricity, water, security, roads, and to grow your own food.
Meanwhile we have 40 million farmers that's more than the US, UK, Canada, EU, and Australia combined.
People like you are at the root of the problem. You are the fuel the government needs to remain irrelevant.
But you can afford to import billions of junks from China every year but you can't grow your own food?
Are there government farms in US, U.K and Canada?
The little government help available to farmers in Nigeria are you taking advantage of it?
When the government said some of the money wasted on fuel subsidy can be invested in agriculture didn't you protest?
AgricultureRe: 30% Poultry Farms Shut Down In Six Months – PAN by Guestlander: 2:14pm On Jul 03, 2024
tctrills:
In case you don't know, we have over 40 million farmers in Nigeria. The problem is not with the planting of corn.
The leaders should provide loans for farmers. Roads to farm communities, access to machinations and fertilizers. Schools, hospitals and drinking water in farm communities and most of all security.
Stop blaming the innocent Nigerians. Blame the idiot you call your president.
You need to face the truth. Yes, the government should do all these things but what about Nigerians who have access to money, what percentage of them are into mechanized farming?
Someone here on nairaland even said farming is not profitable! Yes, if you don't do it the right way.

So corn is now the issue?
No, the issue is that Tinubu has not been able to grow enough grains to make animal feed cheap and affordable.
Continue to wait for him.

The leaders are supposed to plant corn and raise chickens for you as well?
AgricultureRe: 30% Poultry Farms Shut Down In Six Months – PAN by Guestlander: 10:50am On Jul 03, 2024
People will come online to ridicule corn and create a thousand memes to ridicule the president for suggesting we grow the crop. Then in another breath they will complain about the price of eggs and chicken.
How can you have a successful poultry business without grains and corn being the most widely grown?
Why do we always put the cart before the horse?

PoliticsRe: National Assembly Pushes For Two More South East States by Guestlander: 10:24am On Jul 03, 2024
Nigeria has serious structural defects. All the calls for new states are targeted at the federation account, nothing more.

Just like I said.
BusinessRe: Govt Must Act Fast To Stop Investors From Leaving In Droves — Dangote by Guestlander: 10:18am On Jul 03, 2024
Billions which could have been invested in providing stable electricity over the years was wasted on subsidy just to create an illusion that everything is ok.
Nigeria cannot develop any meaningful manufacturing base without electricity, it is common sense.
Just like Dangote said, by being import dependent you export jobs and import poverty.

Donald Trump, a Courageous man.

One of the things I so much like about him is he don't care about diplomacy in his speech and approach. Always straight forward and do tell what he want to do and what he will not do.

I so much like straight forward people, you can always know where they belong.
Trump is straightforward? Trump himself will laugh at you over this.

mumu op!If it is not disobedience to court order, should Nnamdi KANU still be in detention one week after court dismiss terrorism charge against him ?
You said the federal government appeal the court order that acquitted and discharge Nnamdi KANU of terrorism charges, one week after after the court's order.
From what I understood,it means that he is still in detention one week even after court discharged and acquitted him,so one week is 7 days.
How do you define continuing detention of about one week against court's order if it si not disobedience to court order ?

How is Mr Peter Obi wrong with what he said ?
One week is more than enough for him to bolt again. Houdini doesn't have a thing on that guy.

Canada is not forcing anyone to come. Some Indians spent like $30000 to migrate. A Nigerian doctor sold his clinic to Migrate, it is their choice.
