The protests were met with extreme violence and people who protested with pen were imprisoned or killed. That is what I meant.

The person that was shot is a YORUBA activist in the vicinity.

According to other accounts, he was a pro TINUBU supporter and was accosted by the protesters and almost lynched.

It is also said that the Police officer that killed him is a Northerner. This goes to show that a Northerner will hardly shoot his brother to give advantage to a NON Northerner. He killed the YORUBA protester to please his fellow Northerners protesting against TINUBU.
