Adiola: when I have time to play with dogs I ll visit this trash
I don't play with pigs reason I've never quoted your vacuous opinions on Nairaland. What is the outcome of your senseless rantings so far? Have you achieved anything yet?
Adiola: afonjas are useless so you wanna taunt the Igbo's into picking up arms to kill the armies no wonder sanusi wrote the problem if the zoo is the afonja slippery useless creatures
More slippery than Nnamdi Kanu who slipped away into oblivion while leaving his dog to die and cowardly followers to swim in dirty pool of water? While leaving his online worshippers like you extremely disappointed?
Some of these people are probably asylum seekers who would not mind to tarnish the image of Nigeria to gain refugee status. What genocide is going on in the S.E? The city councillor they spoke with doesn't even have any power to act on behalf of the Canadian government.
zenmaster: Wait oh, But why did Gowon not pull a Hitler when Muritala and OBJ cornered him?
Cornered him where? Did you watch the nollywood version? Azikiwe ran away before the first coup (he got a wind of it) bolted. Ojukwu. .........bolted Nnamdi Kanu. .......not to be outdone, disappeared into thin air. Poof, we still can't find him.
My friend, where's Nnamdi Kanu? Is he studying to become a rabbi in Israel or in Turkey to become an imam? Where in the world is the director? His sheep are now without Shepherd.
shukuokukobambi: A Yoruba man honours the memory of his true friend. They were room mates and best of friends. In fact OBJ practically adopted Nzeogwu's widowed mother and took care of her till death. You can't beat that
Na wah o. Seriously, people should be more careful in what the put in their mouth. This goes for all of you on nairaland showing us pictures of your snake pepper soup, manatee pepper soup, all kinds of strange animals pepper soup.
zenmaster: Gowon sold Nigeria's future out to USA, UK, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Chad, Niger, Cameroon, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Syria etc Then he ran away to London. There is nothing mature about that.
You got all this from the Aba archives for Nigerian history?
zenmaster: Gowon was an over-ambitious little boy who wanted to be commander-in-chief, but could not face his subordinates Muritala and Obasanjo
Listening to Gowon anyone can see he was far more matured in his choice of words far greater than his age at that time. He spoke like someone who understood the tasks and challenges ahead of him. Unlike Ojukwu who kept bragging about the size and power of an army he never had.
zenmaster: Going by this logic, all Nigerian soldiers who died in the civil war were all foolish as they could have just waited to run away with Gowon their commander in 1975. In fact, there would have been no war as they could have all waited for Gowon to exile himself in 1975, running from Muritala + Obasanjo
Actually, those bootstrapping biafran soldiers who fought until there was no longer any options than laying down their arms were far braver than Ojukwu. Ojukwu was a spoilt brat who wanted to be a big fish in a small pond.
gidgiddy: What was Gowon exactly hopping that Ojukwu would do? What kind of Soldier who is facing imminent death if captured will stay back to be killed when he has an escape route?
It would have been very stupid of Ojukwu to allow himself to be captured and killed by Nigeria when he had a way to escape.
Only a foolish Soldier will allow himself to be captured by his enemy when he has the option of escape
Only the most dishonorable commander in chief of the army would abandon his troops in battle and escape to save his own life. It is cowardly and dishonorable, that is just the way it is.
ProWalker: Heheheheheheh ibo people don bring another one come.. It’s indeed your personal collection at it can only be from your archive There are loads of apps that can do exactly and even better what you did there
delugajackson: These are serious questions. I keep asking myself these questions, as i do not see any likeness between me and a Fulani. We are too different, our way of thinking is different, or is it culture? We are too damn different. Take away the Hausas and Fulanis, Nigeria will be a better place.
You don't have to look exactly like a Fulani or share the same religion or culture to belong to the same country as long as the right of every citizen is protected.
justuschi50: nmandi KANU is not missing but protected from Nigeria
He could still be in Nigeria, the revelation that he is in London could be a way to divert the attention of the security forces from looking for him at the borders. He is certainly not dead. I doubt his wife would remain silent for two weeks not hearing back from her husband.
AnodaIT: Over the years since the rumors of Abacha and the Interim govt, Abacha death, Obasanjo released from prison, Yar'Adua debacle and all the intrigues of Jonathan administration, one thing I have come to understand without doubt about Nigeria is that whenever you hear a rumor, there is 80% chance that the thing happened and was closed up or something very similar happened.
I have never seen a widespread rumor that didn't pan out even if not totally in the way it was rumored
Like ingesting salt to cure ebola? Answering a certain phone call would kill you instantly? Taking polio medication will render you permanently infertile? Most rumors in Nigeria are completely reta.rded. Just look at the current one that president Buhari is cloned. ....heheheh Nigerians have a strange sense of humor.
If you are wondering why there are so many fake pastors, herbalists etc in Nigeria, this is it. There are too many gullible people who would believe anything no matter how ridiculous.
I know where Nnamdi Kanu is now.. . I apologise to all my friends. I am going to let this secret out. My conscience is exploding in grief for keeping it this long.. I know exposing this will make some people think I can't keep simple secrets. I know some lilly hearts will feel betrayed. The brave ones have been irking to hear this truth.. I know the whereabout of Kanu! This is not like Orji Uzor Kalu's spurious hullabaloo of Mazi Kanu fleeing from Malaysia to London.. He is just seeking cheap relevance.. He wants to be in the picture. He did it at Kuje.. Filled the Social media with his Trojan horse entry. Ekele Dili Chukwuthat for once he said the truth after that visit, "Kanu is unbribable!".. Akòró gbago, akòró gbadata.. . Afara Ukwu, Umuahia 14th September 2017.. The Nigerian wicked establishment unleashed their terrorist groups at Biafrans, clothed with military camos.. News headlines later said the army claimed responsibility for that state sponsored acts terrorism.. Army later added that they FOUND bombs at Kanu's home. Next day, they said they DID NOT ENTER his home.. Weed oriented self countering speeches!! . Untrained in the use of assault rifles and the just supplied US APC tanks.. They claimed their drivers were just testing the manoeuvres and how the steering could turn into streets. A battalion probably was calculating bullet trajectory and speed as all the bullets rained on us.. piercing walls and roof. Bodies went down. Souls left. Blood drew maps on the ground. A few legs ran.. Mine did too.. I saw kanu, he refused to run.. The boys on guard "lost order" and lifted him off his feet.. They wanted him alive.. They need him alive.. Every man and woman of Biafra whisked Kanu away, in spirit and in flesh.. Even his enemies prayed that he survives this.. A dying soul screamed,"fear not, Biafra Will Come but you must leave here now!".. . Shooting turned to shelling.. Some lines of the famous Biafra war song grazed through my mind.. ..save my bullet oh Biafra.. If I happen to fall and die for Biafra Biafra save my Bullet when I die . The dying souls pleaded that Kanu be saved.. Kanu is the bullet now and every Biafran have his.. . A little distance further.. The weight of the crying brothers and dying friends was too heavy to bear. Nnamdi Kanu refused to retreat an inch further. He walked back towards the soldiers, towards the shooting.. He walked through them. He had done it before. He did it at Abakiliki road.. But this time he didn't finish the walk. They took him away. We traced and followed them like Miriam followed baby Moses at River Nile. Now River Niger carried our Moses in a basket.. . Finally.. They took him to somewhere. Where they can't kill him. They tried. But it was just impossible.. I know where Nnamdi Kanu is right now.. Kanu is glued and bonded today in every Biafran heart. In our minds. In our speeches.. We Speak Kanu.. He is in your conscience! Bring out the Kanu in you first.. Fear not! We shall not capitulate!!.. Nnamdi Kanu was not asking for a farmland nor food nor cloths but the restoration of the indigenous dignity of mankind in Biafra land.. Let's keep away the Spirit of servitude and mental slavery induced by these quislings and petty belle first politicians of PDP vs APC and bring out the Kanu in us!.. That's where Kanu is now.. #Bring_Out_Our_Kanu.... NNAMDI KANU is in me
Kanu is somewhere in the U.K eating fish and chips and drinking lager and thinking about how he never got Biafra nor death.
silentachieverr: That is the thing with you Nigerians. The 'pastors' that are teaching the message of salvation and all...do they practice what they preach? First of all, Bakare is a Nigerian before he is a pastor and it is just no-brainer that he talks about(and tries to profer) solutions to the situation in the country. I rather have hin with his truth and at times, controversial views, than the prosperity and salvation pastors who are just after your tithes and money to build bigger churches and fatten their bellies while gullible folks like you are still impoverished and shouting 'Daddy GO' up and down. You that is talking, what have you done to better the country? What meaningful contribution have you offered to change the status quo in one little way or the other? Now you see someone who is a pastor and who has his own money to fend for his family, putting his nation at heart n you are there opening your mouth calling him a mofo. Well...leg out.
Sometimes you just have to wonder how some people think. If you ask the guy you quoted to proffer his own solutions to the problems facing Nigeria he will most certainly draw blank.
gidgiddy: The were never Nigerians, there were just jointly administered by Britain as Nigeria and the British Cameroons.
In 1961, Southern British Cameroons voted in a referendum to join Republic of Cameroon
You are absolutely right. They had the option to join Nigeria but they chose Cameroon. They were jointly administered by the British from Nigeria though. The NCNC (The National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons) was named to reflect that I think.
