I don't know if anyone is in same situation with me. I applied for d ptdf schorlaship having seen dat I was eligible, but when mail was sent to all dat applied pertaining change of exam centre, I didn't receive any and when I tried changing mine ,it keeps telling me not shortlisted. ND now again dat mails are being sent to applicants, I haven't received any and don't know If their is hope for me to partake in d exam. Anyone in same shoe with me here and what may b d possible reason why I wasn't even able to change my exam centre initially.

Did you send message to them?

manaja87:
Don't mind him please. I was reliably informed that what might cause the delay is the issue of venues due to the newly introduced centres. They said if they are able to find venues in all the centres by June 24, then the test will hold on July 1, but if they cant, the test will hold on July 8.

I believe you now. . Forgv us of our sins.

ThankGod, Akwa Ibom state map has returned to Nigeria after a long while recess.

sirRiddy:
Yes, I have very little knowledge in the area, so I thought those
who have worked there or have interest in it can help facilitate the
learning process. I am basically interested in the current state of the field and
current research concerns, so I want to avoid reinventing the wheel as much as possible.

OK! It sounds interesting though am not into computer language.

sirRiddy:
Thank you . Your question is not clear, working on what?

I mean researching on it

sirRiddy:
Thank you for your input. No need to apologize at all for expressing your thoughts and critique
I was actually talking generally and not in terms of how Google works or how a specific
Machine Learning technique works, that is why I called it simplistic.
By the way, I do not think there is anything wrong with the 'bookish' definition or understanding of a concept.
Both research and academia work together to explore the frontier of knowledge.
I am glad you offered your take on this. Feel free to offer more insights and/or criticisms.

Good response, maybe he never knew one can modify google search engine.
Are you working on this?

If its Nigeria, forget it. They are only playing political games for us. Sakari is freed, Dino can't go.Simply

raphafire:
Pls what does it mean to be preparing for ur own marriage in a dream??

was it your thought in the dream? If so, it is good, except if it is different from being your thought. However, you did not give us what really transpired, so I take it as discrete statement.

First picture, Mc on d right, whatever d Bleep he calls himself im d middle and Talo on d left (Koko Zaria`s position). Zaria n Mc r both not smiling in all d pics. Zaria will end up killing Talo. Dont ask me how I found out. I just dey forecast.

I have heard a lot of him.Thanks

Develpeast:
This MC Oluomo will still kill this other guy. He still has this vindictive look that makes him suspicious. Just look at the miscreants tinubu empowered in lagos state. These guys take lives without remorse and no one can do anything about it.

which of these guys is Olu Omo? I often hear this guy is stinkingly rich from this touting.

electronic:
LoL you wan discourage the guy?
He needs some Maths to get busy. If he has such math background he won't be complaining...
He needs a head start and basic Mary is more than enough to get things done. He could actually build hundreds of money spinning apps with little maths knowledge...

I'm not discouraging him, but ODE is the basic for programmer sha.
I understand your point, anyway, thanks.

electronic:
You don't need complex Maths like calculus but you still need some Maths Background. Like Geometry, some trigonometry, etc.
Programming is about logical principles.
Even Frank has a Medical Background and he is already playing with C#.
The real issue is finding the Passion to continue.

Is integro-Differential not calculus? It depends on what you are coding. For a starter, he/she may start from simple mathematics code. But you will surely need calculus more for iteration than trigonometry. Trigonometry is just straight forward calculation code.

Nigerians and hyping what does not really work.

I wonder how many graduates are using their certificate properly in this country.

80% of Nigerians are very delusional people

Even though, they aren't using these certificates, that shouldnt stop being educated.

pendragon35:
Noted!
But,why do we Africans have this mentality, that aside education one can't be successful. What a bad notion??

Go learn trade if you are tired. You shouldnt have told us in the first place.

dustydee:
Why would you apply to a school without knowing anything about the school and town?
Your first point of call will be your university website which will have information for international students. After that you can now search online for more information before you ask specific questions.
Before I arrived for my masters, I knew how to get to my department from the airport. I missed the student pick up and I was able to find my way/bearing using the street signs and building which I had looked online several times using google maps street view. It was as if I had been there before.

You are very correct on this.

donbreeezy:
Thank you Laajiblik. I didn't change the names intentionally, that is just how the names are arranged on my passport, I filled OLADOKUN JOHN IBUKUNOLUWA in the passport form when I applied in 2015 but the passport names came out as OLADOKUN IBUKUN JOHN.. and because there was an instruction on the CAS request form and TB test form that the name should be written as it appears on the passport I had to write OLADOKUN IBUKUN JOHN on the CAS and TB cert.
Now m jst worried cos my academic certificates and account name for the maintenance is OLADOKUN JOHN IBUKUNOLUWA

You should always note which of these names is your first name, second name and last name (surname) when filling any form again. Also, write your name in full.

From Calabar to Abuja na wa oooo

I can make bold to say that based on what has been written as replies by users on the first page, they are all semi to full illiterates as regards English comprehension. I'm very positive.

Kemi wrote that she got married in prison. She went on to say that she fell in love with the Bible which she hated hitherto, and eventually, is now married to Jesus. But trust the dummies of Nairaland to catch just the first line of any topic and run along with it.

A vast majority of Nigerian youth are grossly incompetent and unemployable at face value. Insult me if you like but it's the simple truth.

Bro, the very many don't read let alone study what was put up by this mama, who now know what churches have been doing in the prison. She had discovered little about the love Jesus had for her. A church sent her there; another church met her there. Ironically, she is married...... What a wonderful world.
